Villa holiday rentals in Higuillar

We stayed in Diana’s condo for 6 weeks. From start to finish we felt at home, comfortable, and surrounded by a lovely landscape. There were 3 pools and a beautiful open-air community house; one pool was a very short walk from the condo. As many others have noted, Diana provided beach chairs and towels, a big umbrella, and coolers for picnics at the beach. The beach was a five minute walk, plenty of space to enjoy the diving pelicans, breaking waves and lovely vistas. Diana recommended several great restaurants - our favorites were nearby Oasis, and KGB in the shopping center. Cerro Beach was a short drive and the perfect place to swim, and spend an afternoon. Punta Salina’s Beach was a bit further but worth the time there. Diana was always helpful, replied promptly, offered suggestions. I never actually met her, but grew to think of her as a good neighbor. Her dad, Adrian, installed a battery back up which would be welcome if we lost power. We highly recommend this Lakeside villa!

Want peace, privacy, yet fun things to do? This villa offers it all! Our family had a great time walking less than 5 mins to the private beach, pools, and tennis courts. The area is super safe and quiet yet a 10 min drive to restaurants and shopping centers. The unit was clean and offered all the kitchen and bath basics, and board games. I loved the traditional furniture and decor! The host was super responsive and helped solve last minute issues. She left fresh fruit and ice bags for us and water bowls for our dog, and even let us check out a bit later. We loved our stay and will be returning soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb within a beautiful private community hosted by Victor. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the serene atmosphere and the peaceful surroundings. The property itself was very comfortable and with a cozy decor that made it feel like a home away from home. Victor was incredibly welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. He was very quick to respond to our messages. Thank you Victor for your awesome hospitality! This location is close to various restaurants, supermarkets, and beaches. Within just a short drive, we discovered wonderful dining options offering delicious Puerto Rican cuisine. The nearby supermarkets made it easy to stock up on essentials for our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, my experience at this location was fantastic. I can’t wait to return and create more unforgettable memories! Highly recommended

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and oasis like. Very peaceful and tucked away but just short drive away from shops and restaurants (7 or 8 minutes). We enjoyed walking to the neighborhood beach. Also driving around the community in the golf cart. The property itself was as advertised and in pictures. It was very comfortable and felt like being at home (away from home). Luis was prompt with checking and responding to questions. He even assured us there would be no problems with the power at the property even thought the entire island lost power for 24 hours since there was a generator. The only somewhat “issue” we had which was outside of Luis control would be the periodic blips watching cable. Didn’t prevent watching shows just sometimes had to fill in words from the blips. Not the end of the world just noting. There are no issues using streaming platforms, just the local cable network. Would certainly recommend this property and would stay again.

This villa is absolutely amazing! It sits right across the street from the pool and tennis/basketball courts. The surroundings are beautiful! The restaurants, bowling, pool and casino are walking distance and so peaceful and full of the local wildlife. The home is perfect for 8 adults and 2 children to spend 11 days comfortably. There are 2 living rooms, an elevator and a rooftop patio with an outdoor grill and kitchenette. Each room has its own huge patio. Nestor was so helpful! His recommendations were spot on and easy to find. The house is stocked with everything you need, including towels, basketballs, tennis rackets, fishing poles and swimming gear. This place really is in the perfect location. I recommend this place no matter where you want to visit in Puerto Rico!

Overall, the place was nice. First off, couldn’t beat the location. Right across the street from the beach, with a nice view from the balcony. The beach is small, but it’s protected, so calm waters and it’s good for little kids with lots of natural shade. It is a bit of a hike to the community pool though. The unit itself was clean, well furnished and stocked. The kitchen was a little tight, fine for one person working, but if two of us were in there, we were bumping into each other. Looks like there might have been some updates to the bathrooms, but overall, the unit was a little dated. So if you’re looking for ultra modern and luxurious, it’s not the place for you. But it was a good value for what it is and the location. The whole team was very responsive. Only bad thing to say was the shower in the master never got warm, even with letting the water run for a few minutes before getting in per their response to our concern.

The house was amazing, pretty and well equipped we were a group of 9 and we loved it , honestly we felt like home and super close to everything , the host was always quick to answer to my questions. Me and my family are deff coming back to this Airbnb

Amanda is very responsive throughout our stay. The place is well maintained and its 5 min walk to beach. The community is very good, secure and well maintained. One thing which I wish I had known before hand was, internet. While this is not the issue with this home/community, its the area. They said it was due to the storm.

This place is incredible. Multiple people in our group said they slept like a baby every night. Fall asleep to the sounds of Coquis and wake up to the sound of songbirds. We came in mid-March. It got a little chilly at night, and perfect during the day. So many people were asking me about the place when I posted on social media. We left yesterday. I already miss it.

I booked Rosa's home with my husband and another couple. The house is truly lovely and looks just like the pictures, including the phenomenal views and great location. There were so many wonderful details that made it feel like you were stepping back in time! The kitchen and baths were well provisioned, as well the house in general. Additionally, although we experienced a blackout while we were there, Rosa and Michael made it painless, graciously dropping off lanterns, phone chargers and lots of batteries. Highly recommend this lovely, historic home.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Villa Iris in May 2025. The villa was very spacious and clean and we felt very safe with it being in a gated community. We loved having access to a private beach right behind the villas. We walked on the beach our last night there and got some great photos of the magnificent and colorful sunset! We had lots of fun exploring many places in Puerto Rico. One of our favorite adventures was going to EL YUNQUE National Forest. Alma and Alex were both great hosts and communicators and responded quickly when we had a couple questions. The villa was a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it!

Our group of nine had an amazing experience staying in Camila’s place. You can literally walk to the beach. It is a great location with lots of parking for our rental car. I also appreciated the gated community. The pool made a huge difference for us after long days of walking or beach it was nice to relax in the pool. I also loved all the restrooms available. It allowed us to have privacy and had enough showers to get ready all of us at a time. Overall it was a great experience for our group.

So beautiful we did not want to leave. Great pool, porch, and hammock. Played pickekball and had massages under the gazebo. we were loving life.

I just have to say the stay was well worth it Leonel was an awesome hosts, very attentive to our needs, the place it’s self is even more beautiful than the pictures, it’s a super relaxing and quiet neighborhood, my favorite part was that pollo tropical the restaurant was a minute in walking distance, the beach is literally in walking distance as well, I usually don’t leave reviews but this one was well deserved!! Pictures don’t do this place justice. This home is beyond dreamy! Everything I had hoped for and SO MUCH MORE. Great location for anyone wanting to experience the Rainforest and authentic PR. ❤️❤️❤️ The host was so helpful, replied to everything within an hour and soooo accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome space. We booked the entire building for our large group and everyone felt it was spacious. Smooth checking 3-4mins walk to plenty restaurants. Ice cold AC and a very relaxing space in the back yard. With plenty of seating and still allows for privacy

Loved the pool, pool table, kitchen, ceiling fans, Alexa speaker, and more. So many fun ways to spend your time. Perfect for large groups especially with kids. The landscaping is so beautiful, can tell a lot of work went into it.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It was also very spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible view—absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. We found ourselves planning our evenings around being back just to catch the sunset from the property. Truly unforgettable! Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with comfort, space, and stunning scenery. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fernando's place was better than I could have hoped for! The unit was spotless and modern with very comfortable beds. The coded entry was very convenient for family members to come and go to the pool, which is straight out of a resort. Waterfall, colored lights, pool bathroom! We were blown away by this accommodation and will absolutely stay again when we come back to Puerto Rico. Fernando checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we did not need anything. I would 100% recommend him as a host.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool was very large, warm and clean. My children had a lot of fun in the water. The beach was rocky by the house but just a 5 minute walk down the beach we had a great time in the waves. There was only two burners working on the stove but I did not mind as we only cooked breakfast.

Vanessa was an excellent host. She responded to any and all questions in a timely fashion. The place was great for a family. We truly enjoyed all the games in the house. We enjoyed having use of a pool, which mostly protected us from the elements. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay! The only negative was the road leading to the house. It was an uneven dirt road, a little rough around the edges. Just a little inconvenient, though. We would rent the place again, if we were to stay in Jayuya again. Thank you, Vanessa!
