Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hessen

This is an adorable cottage managed by lovely people. Thanks to Stephen, his partner, and his mother for their gracious hospitality! I am very grateful. This is a historic half-timber home with wood floors and stairs, high upstairs ceilings, and an updated interior. We found the bedding comfortable with bedroom blinds adjustable for sleep promotion, kitchen and bathrooms clean and stocked, patio delightful with sun and bird songs, and overall decor attractive and soothing. The air temperature is adjustable in the bedrooms and living room with both cooling and heating options. The coffee maker is a Nespresso type, and we appreciated the basketful of coffee pods and bottle of wine upon entry! This home is in a peaceful and safe location behind a locked gate with both the owner and the owner's mother to each side. The S-Bahn stop is a short walk away and will take you to central Frankfurt including Romer (download the RMVgo app to buy and load train tickets).

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. In the area you can do many great hikes. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

We were with four adults in Stromberg and we liked it very much. The house is very well and beautifully renovated and equipped with high-quality, thoughtful and aesthetic furniture and details. The welcome basket with fresh fruit and the chocolate on the bed were very thoughtful. Towels and linen were abundant. Dieter makes it very easy for his guests to feel at home quickly - not least because of his uncomplicated and open manner. Thank you very much.

We were there for the second time and felt right at home. It was a bit like coming home ☺️ the vacation home is super quiet and we were able to relax all around. The facility is very modern and you always have a great view of nature and the adjacent forest. The private sauna and the infrared cabin are also great! Here and there there were a few spiders as inhabitants in the house, which probably cannot be avoided due to the proximity to nature. We were a little worried that we would have to pay extra for electricity (this was not the case on the first visit), because if you have a consumption above an unknown average value, you have to pay extra separately. But that was not the case with us. Otherwise, the contact with the hosts and especially the hostess Mira is always very friendly and you get a very quick answer to every question. We were even greeted with regional gifts ☺️ we would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Brunhilde's and can highly recommend the stay! The RBB is lovingly furnished with a lot of heart - nothing is missing. It is a paradise, especially for children: lots of toys, books and a large garden to romp around in. The campfire with bread on a stick was a highlight! We adults were also able to relax and enjoy the quiet, natural surroundings. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, you can feel the love for detail and nature everywhere. Brunhilde is a great hostess – open, helpful and warm. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The house is in every way consistent with the description. It's very nice, very comfortable, very quiet while being close to all amenities. We enjoyed the barbecue, heated pool, sauna and beautiful garden (and the singing of the many birds!)

We were very pleased with our stay. The house corresponds to the description. Charm and comfort surpass these. Everything fits together wonderfully. We lived with our three dogs as a couple in the house, friends rented the smaller apartment in the house. Everything was clean, cozy and well equipped. We were able to walk away from the house with the dogs, the area offers beautiful hiking opportunities. Since we arrived later than planned, the check-in via the key box was perfect. Nevertheless, Helene asked if we had arrived safely. You feel absolutely welcome! We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week at the Nistermuhle. It is a great and clean apartment. The history of the mill and the family is also interesting. Everything is present. The garden is great and it is very quiet. All amenities and activities are nearby. Upon arrival, a few tasty drinks were ready and an easy meal was also thought of. The family was very friendly and approachable. The cat also passed by every day. As far as we are concerned, a great place for relaxation.

Was or is exactly the right thing for us. Very nice hosts, uncomplicated, simply friendly. Magnificent view. We'll be back.

If you get lost in the Odenwald and choose Franca's gem of a vacation apartment, you have done nothing wrong. The photos of the accommodation are true, but only when you enter the apartment and explore it room by room, the charm of the four walls, renovated with great attention to detail, will flatter you. Here, it seems, time has stood still. The courtyard radiates a positive calm, so you immediately feel at home. The key handover was very straightforward. The hosts were friendly, open and courteous to us. This apartment is an absolute highlight and you should not hesitate for a moment, but strike immediately.

The apartment was really great, nothing was missing. The balcony is worth its weight in gold. The beds are very comfortable and the bedroom is cool. From Schönau, we did great bike tours with our e-bikes. You can easily get from Neckasteinach to HD with the S-Bahn. Communication with Anne-Katrin was very good and always very prompt. We were also warmly welcomed on site. Highly recommended.... if you don't mind the approx. 70 steps to the apartment.

The communications with Thomas was easy and quick We went for a long weekend in Winterberg to attend a bike festival and competition The appartment is located right next to the ski/bike park so really easy Everything we needed was there - Linens towels and the beds are really comfortable The appartment is within a big building - although probably a lot of rentals it was really quiet and we felt safe The access to the parking is not so direct but it is secure. Be careful it is 2m height max We would definitely stay here again

Very nice house and great location! We felt very comfortable - especially the beautiful sauna and the home cinema (huge screen, great seats and sound system!) appealed to us. You can go hiking in the area and restaurants & supermarket are close. Markus was quick to respond if you had any questions Thanks!

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

We were six for an extended weekend to play board games in peace. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations! Super nice and luxurious, there is everything your heart desires = 10/10, happy to come back!

We were completely satisfied. There was everything you needed. The surroundings were very nice green and you could do nice things nearby. For our family reunion, the house was perfect. We felt very comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed.

Sabin and Mark were great hosts. We were with 8 adults and 7 children in their house, consisting of the main house and the completely renovated and stylishly developed "Saustall". The accommodation really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, spacious and stylishly decorated. The kitchens were well equipped and in the living rooms you could sit together and chat. The children especially liked the playroom and the many Bobby Cars. Even a table tennis table was available. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend the accommodation without hesitation.

We had a great weekend at the place. The kitchen is well equipped. We grilled and were able to use the beautiful terrace. Ideal location for surrounding activities such as canoeing.

The house was very clean and everything was available. The beautiful city center was within walking distance as well as several supermarkets. Torsten's mother takes care of the check-in (if you stand in front of the house, the mother lives to the left). Very friendly and accommodating and if any questions should arise, you could easily contact them.

Plenty of space, beautiful location and nice quiet environment. The cottage was equipped with all comforts, although we could not find the barbecue supplies from the description. Beautiful, quiet location with a view of the river. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, everything must be done by car (except in the village itself). That's fine with us, by the way. Good contact with the hosts. They indicated in the cottage that they had many tips for restaurants in the area, which I did not find. Everything is spotless, ideal!
