Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

Rustic witch cabin overlooking the river from the cozy bed. A sitting area offers enough space to have a cozy breakfast or work with a view of nature. The entire house was made in solid construction by the carpenter. On the terrace right in front of the cottage you can also enjoy the river view outdoors wonderfully. Toilet and shower are located in the sanitary house 50m away. A sauna cottage can be used at an additional cost.

This is a wonderful accommodation for a trip to the Harz. A very nicely maintained house with plenty of space and sleeping arrangements. We were there with 6 guys and both the center of the city is very easy to reach, as well as many hiking trails. Communication with René was great, he proactively approached us to report to the tourist office and gave us good tips at check-in. The sauna is a highlight in the house and a blessing after a long hike.

Unfortunately, we had to shorten our stay for health reasons, but we still enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was easy to reach due to the description given by Andreas, once there we were received by Andreas, he showed us the apartment and gave us a folder with hiking routes and possible activities in the area. The apartment was as shown in the pictures and very clean and tidy. They felt right at home there. Communication with Andreas was always friendly and uncomplicated. All in all, definitely a recommendation if you want to take a vacation in the region.😄

Antje welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. The apartment is really very cute, lovingly furnished and clean. The children were very happy about the family's cat. The view of the garden is very idyllic. The proximity to the Teufelsmauer invites you to great hikes. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay at this property. All in all, we were very please. The house is nicely decorated and clean. Unfortunately, you can very quickly overlook the additional fees for bed linen and towels (20 euros per person) as well as the tourist tax, which is not an insignificant amount and makes the booking more expensive overall. But I think the other providers in the area do the same. Overall, however, a nice place to stay and great communication with the provider. Can definitely recommend

I had a very nice week at the mill - a wonderful place to breathe, recharge and be inspired. Thanks to the warm welcome from the hostess, the rippling of the stream, the trusting cats and the cozy lounger under the willow, I immediately felt like I was on vacation. In the green and colorful courtyard, you have all the possibilities to enjoy time either in the sun or in the shade, in company or alone. The small, rustic room with a cozy bed is right next to the kitchen and bathroom, which is why you are very close to life. Nevertheless, I was able to switch off perfectly, made nice acquaintances and discovered many beautiful things in the mill and the surrounding places in the Harz. I'd love to come back! :)
