Hamilton is home to the Daly Mansion of the Montana Copper Kings. It’s close to several wildlife refuges including the famous Lee Metcalf Refuge. We are a family of four living the good life on our small working farm and The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.

You will be less than 10 minutes from downtown Hamilton, river access is minutes away and less than an hour from Lost Trail Powder Mountain! There is a Tuft&Needle Queen bed to rest your head on, sofa, full bath, and full kitchen w/stove, oven, fridge, microwave, plates and utensils to cook your meals. We just had a rabbit move into our yard that we are quite attached to so dogs must be on leash!

Cozy Getaway - Walk to Downtown

Jennie’s updated historical home was absolutely perfect for me and my two kids visiting Hamilton, MT! The second you pulled up to it, it greeted us with so much charm- it’s adorable! You walk inside and they have done upgrades to make it welcoming and feel so inviting, clean and clutter-free. The kitchen and bathrooms are perfect- the tub is deep and perfect for soaking if you like baths, and the shower had great pressure! The fun flamingo half bath was so moody and made a fun-themed statement to support the flamingo name of her rental, and the decor was equally as pulled together and thoughtful! The kitchen was so well organized, and Jennie even provided a bottle of wine with chocolates and a dozen eggs- which we polished of both days for breakfast. It saved us a trip to the grocery store early the next morning, which was so appreciated! It was great to have laundry, as we were able to do a load before we left so we could leave with clean clothes, and the beds were so comfortable!!

I'm so glad I picked this place over a hotel in Hamilton! Expansive views of the mountains and rolling hills, birds singing, cows mooing:) and the lovely tea room was such a surprise! This place is perfect for a quiet getaway, yet close enough to visit Hamilton and Stevensville for small town excursions or hiking in the Bitterroots. Super clean and thoughtfully detailed with everything I needed. Thank you!

Very last minute needed a place to stay while attending a wedding in Hamilton, Felicia pulled some strings for us and made it happen! The house was very clean, and the aesthetic was sooo cute! We used the bikes to ride to coffee and dinners, and also walked to downtown many times! Would recommend Felicia’s place a million times over again. Very friendly and proactive host! Thank you!

We absolutely fell in love with this place!!! Host is very detail-oriented and friendly. They ensured we had what we needed while also giving us privacy and space. The view here is incredible! The ambient sounds of nature were a peaceful, welcoming backdrop. We also loved how many animals were in the near distance. It was a nice nature plunge for our family. Host allows pets which was important and appreciated as we traveled with our dog. We plan to return to this spot on a future adventure to Montana. Thank you, S.!

We had a very nice stay at Cyndee's. The apartment was perfect for an overnight stay for a wedding we attended in the area. Cyndee was a great host--she met us on our arrival and was friendly. The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountains. We would definitely stay at Cyndee's if we're ever in the area again.

Beautiful home in a tranquil setting. The home is well cared for and stocked with all of the games, kitchen cookware, etc. for a memorable stay. We truly enjoyed the pond and creekside setting. Highly recommend!
