The cozy little half-timbered house is at the center of the town of Herdecke next to the church with beautifully designed rooms and a very cozy living room with adjoining kitchen. There was enough space for 5 adults. The mats are soft. The location in the center of Herdecke was optimal, everything within walking distance. We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation—from a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing any meal, to spacious rooms that made us feel right at home. In the evenings, we enjoyed unwinding with movies on the large TV. The location is fantastic, serving as a great base for exploring iconic cities like Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, and Koblenz. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner, and for quick grocery runs, Aldi is only about a five-minute drive away. This property truly stands out as one of the most stunning places we’ve ever stayed. Michael was exceptionally responsive and kind, always keeping communication clear and helpful. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

We had a great stay, we liked the entire equipment very much, a lot of attention to detail, really all around cozy, so that you feel right at home. The loft was easy to find and communication with Pasquale was flawless, questions were answered super fast. We will certainly come back.

We've already been to here for the second time and we felt very comfortable again - this time despite the rainy weather!We were well provided with tips and hints from hostess Andrea. The kitchen is superbly equipped and, above all, The garden is wonderful thanks to roses and seating and even a fire bowl. On foot, we were able to quickly (5-10min) leave the rather less exciting residential area behind us and were in the forest and in fields with the cows. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

Karl is a very communicative person, and response within minutes when you have a question or you need his help. The apartment is in a very good location just 1-2mins away from supermarkets, restaurants etc.

The apartment was clean, spacious and located in the centre of Altena: a bakery almost in front of the house and the castle only a couple stairs away. Everything was beautifully decorated and the kitchen looked brand new. There were a lot of games available and the dishwasher was a unexpected bonus! Two notes: the two-person bed downstairs is not very big, and the couch is comfortable for three people, four if you squeeze (this we knew before hand). The communication with Kai was great. We had a very nice stay with 5 people! I would recommend this apartment! :)

Super nice property and a very sweet apartment - really a magical place! A little tip: The last staircase is quite steep, I always thought carefully about what I was carrying up there, because everything has to come down again 😉 Top communication with Anne, the bed was comfortable and you will (for lack of blackout option). I liked it. I'd be happy to come back!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The accommodation was wonderfully quiet - ideal for switching off and relaxing. The bedrooms in particular were pleasantly cool when we were there in the summer, which ensured a restful sleep. The whole apartment is very spacious and modern, and everything was absolutely clean. We also had no mosquitoes or anything. You can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy nature. We would especially like to highlight the hosts – they were extremely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, a very well-maintained and comfortable accommodation – we will be happy to come back!

As 2 years ago, we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the very cozy apartment, the fantastic surroundings and, last but not least, the very friendly and unobtrusive hosts from the heart!

We had a very nice weekend in this cozy, modern and comfortable apartment. Even with outside temperatures above 30°, it was very pleasant in the apartment and we were able to spend a relaxing time with two small children and two babies. The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. Outside there are swings, a trampoline and plenty of space for children to play. You can tell that Nils and Caro put a lot of thought into the well-being of their guests and go to great lengths. The communication in advance is almost too detailed, so you can really find your way around ;) In my opinion, the overnight price is very nicely chosen - most landlords would probably charge more for comparable accommodation. We would be happy not to have stayed here for the last time for a break :)

Stephanie is a very, very dear, courteous, helpful host. Her apartment is beautiful, superbly located, has a great balcony and an incredibly beautiful view. The festival grounds and lake are just a few minutes' walk away. It was clean and she had even provided a dog bed, a water bowl and a ball for our dogs. We would always want to stay with her.

Beautiful apartment that is close to many restaurants and shops. Parking nearby is always possible. I had a good time.

The three of us stayed at Corinna's place for three days. Even before that, the communication was great and everything could be easily clarified. Corinna was super friendly and we could always turn to her. She was able to give us a few good tips for the area, but also had a folder in the apartment in which everything necessary could be found. The accommodation was very cozy, simple and timelessly furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. The city is easily accessible via a few stairs and you have everything you need. Nice place to stay in a quiet residential area. The hosts are very nice. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully furnished and very clean. Everything you need. Relatively large rooms and a separate kitchen.

We were warmly received in person and the accommodation was personally presented, so that no questions remained unanswered. The accommodation is very lovingly decorated and we felt very comfortable. Nothing is missing. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Several pillows are available for a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also well equipped. The accommodation is beautifully quiet and yet very central. Just perfect for a nice stay in Dortmund. Thank you very much.

It was our second stay at the apartment and we were very satisfied as last time. Very spacious, very tidy and the Arcadeon was easily accessible on foot. Communication and check-in went smoothly.
