we experienced island blackout during our stay. having a generator was good. place is beautiful. Host responsive and very considerate to us. Will come back!

Siempre que voy a PR me quedo en Joyuda (tengo raíces familiares en el área), y más específicamente en este edificio. Lo conozco bien porque me he hospedado en cuatro unidades distintas. Este apartamento es, por mucho, el mejor de todos los que ha alquilado. Es amplio, cómodo, accesible, seguro, y tiene todo lo que se necesita para una experiencia excelente. Lo recomiendo y ¡espero regresar pronto!

I really liked the place, it was peaceful. We spent just 2 nights, but it was relaxing. The pool area was great for chilling. We went to another beach and when we returned there was an outside shower we used to clean the salt and sand, before dipping to the pool. If spending more time, maybe bring aluminum foil, condiments, and oil, if you plan to cook. Also bring pool towels, and you'll have a great time. There's a TV on the living room that has all the apps you'll need to watch a movie or two.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect, the space was beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay. Was very clean and the owners clearly thought of everything needed for a successful trip. The owners were great communicators and instructions were very clear - comfy bed and the house was well stocked with kitchen equipment to suit our needs. Can’t wait to return!

Súper agradecida y satisfecha con el lugar y el servicio. Es la segunda vez que nos quedamos aquí y nos quedaríamos mil veces mas. Realmente es un lugar bien acogedor, tranquilo y cerca de todo, perfecto por si te quieres escapar con la familia o tu pareja. Dixie es muy amable y servicial, siempre está pendiente a que no te falte nada y te sientas como en casa.

Soriel was a great host and the place was perfect. She was very responsive and friendly even when we asked to have the pool cleaned a second time. (Due to the rains and flowering tree). The place was perfectly clean and exactly as described and pictured. The location turned out to be perfectly located also as we were able to visit all of the local and nearby attractions easily within minutes. The nearby beaches are incredible and I honestly can’t think of any reason we wouldn’t stay here again - hopefully we will soon as we are definitely in love with the island and the people. Stop scrolling listings and book this place asap!

This is a great spot. The sunsets from the beach right outside of the condo were amazing. Centralized in Cabo Rojo, you can easily access the entire western side of the island. I had no problem with check in or check out. Would recommend.

Second time staying here. Dorkas continues to be a great host. Lost power overnight but the building generator kicked on. Water was affected but Dorkas acted quickly to resolve the issue and communicated all the way through. I highly recommend. I even recommended to my sisters that will be visiting soon.

This was our second time staying at Walter’s place. We love the location and laid back vibe of the place. It’s very comfortable and works well for our family.

Fantastic location, next to some of the best beaches! Really enjoyed the balcony, with lots of shade, and a great view. And the hammock, of course! Playa Buye is a 5min drive, or less than 30 min hike along the beach. Great location to explore other areas as well. For those not afraid of the woods, highly recommend hiking Charco El Pilon. Pargueras Bay is close, as are many other nice places. Would love to come back!

Greg's place was awesome. The space is comfortable, the kitchen has all the essentials and more. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony looking at the wonderful view. Greg provided wonderful recommendations to local eatery that were very accurate. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Lugar perfecto para quedarse

Tremendo lugar para quedarse con la familia. Muy limpio y grande. La cocina está equipada con todo. Los cuartos y baños son cómodos. Hay aire en la casa y cuartos. Hay un grill de gas, lavadora y secadora, equipo para snorkeling, salvavidas, juguetes, hamaca, mesas, sillas, kayaks y paddleboards. La playa está literalmente al salir del portón trasero de la casa. Hay un area con arena y agua bien clarita y llana para bañarse en el mar. También se puede ir a Isla Ratones en kayak o paddleboard en unos 15 minutos. No es una playa privada y los locales tienden a venir al área de la casa a tirarse del muelle. Lucas, el manager, está siempre atento y disponible (el vive en los altos de la casa). Hay muchos restaurantes a walking distance (Mi Patria está rico) y un supermercado Selectos bien cerca también. Fue una experiencia increíble y se lo recomiendo a todos!

The place was clean, pretty, comfortable and a gorgeous beach was my backyard for the weekend. Heriberto thought about everything one might need. Loved the restaurants and bars in the area. Got to hear live music, eat good food, go for a run, do yoga. Everything was close and accessible. Loved everything about it.

Amazing home with a gorgeous beach. Close to many of the best things to do in Mayaguez and Puerto Rico as a whole. Will most likely book when I go back this summer.

Jose's place was exactly as described. We absolutely loved everything about it! Any questions were responded to in a very timely manner. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the apt. Thank you for making our stay fun and easy 🙂

Amazing location felt so peaceful with only a few steps away from the beach, and a nice distance from the closest town. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place, very clean and super convenient location. Having kayaks gave us the flexibility to find adequate places to swim in the area. We appreciated the generator and batteries that provide alternate power when it goes out. Being at that location does come with the disadvantage of street noise which on Saturday which can go into the morning hours. Overall a great experience.
