Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Greenwood Lake

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

This is a lovely house very close to New Paltz. We had a nice long weekend with the kids and loved spending time in the pool. Susan was a great host. No complaints!

We’ve been going to Greenwood Lake for many years but this was our first time with kids and it was the perfect home for two couples and three kids. They loved the slide and hammock and all the space to run around outside as well as the game room upstairs. We took the boat out on the lake during the day and one day a family of swans even came up to the dock. It was so special! Dana had everything we needed plus things we hadn’t even thought to bring (like extra long skewers to roast marshmallows for s’mores in the fire pit!) It was a beautiful backdrop for a lovely weekend and we wished we could have stayed longer. Overall fantastic and above and beyond!

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

This is by far the best AirBnb I have ever stayed at! Elizabeth is a fabulous host and was unbelievably attentive and accommodating. The house is beautiful on a large plot of land with plenty of nature and breathtaking sites. The house was warm, inviting, and decorated beautifully. If you need a get away from the city, this is your place. I 100% will be coming by again.

She has gone to great lengths to accurately describe the home in detail so there are no surprises. *Read all of the info she has provided!* Home: * clean * very roomy * well laid out * thoughtfully decorated but not cluttered * very well supplied kitchen and bathrooms * soaking tub 👍👍 * comfortable beds * customizable temps in bedrooms * AMAZING game selection Our visit was in summer; the home would be perfect for wintertime skiing. Our group, just fyi: 9 adults and 1 crawling infant. Two adults are senior citizens who don't handle stairs well, so we planned to stay in, play games, cook our meals, and just enjoy family time. This BNB was perfect for that. Once they took the stairs to get inside, they were very comfortable on the first floor where most of our activity was. The baby gate, high chair, and portable crib were so appreciated.

From booking through check out, Maureen was pleasant, communicated promptly and clearly, and had the house perfectly dialed in to accommodate our family. The house is situated on a large, beautiful lakefront lot with spectacular views, and outfitted for families and friends to have an amazingly fun experience, regardless of weather or time of year. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, or a lively time with friends, this place will not disappoint!

Eugene was very responsive host and attentive. Ensure placed was cool for arrival since we were checking in late. When we had an issue he was very responsive and quickly addressed it. Overall place is nice and walkable to boonton historic with plenty of coffee shops & restaurants. Plenty of amenities and he put a lot of effort in ensuring you have a great stay. Weather was typical June rain so we did not get to enjoy the beautiful koipond. However you can see it from office, kitchen and bathroom. Highly recommend this place just note that bedrooms and bathroom are all upstairs.

We had the most amazing weekend at Alice’s. She was a beautiful and gracious host. She made us banana nut bread! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the lake. I would recommend staying here and plan to be back!!

Great place for a great price! Loved all the different porches and docks and all the outdoor space and the beautiful view of the lake! Very easy to work from the bnb as well! Janice was kind and very responsive, will definitely be back!

I had a great time staying here. A lovely and quiet retreat. Douglas and his family were very friendly and responsive to any needs I had. The place was tidy and clean and the grounds around the house were beautiful! Will definitely be back!

Donna was a great host and gave very clear instructions. The lectures match the description perfectly and it is a wonderful little spot to spend a few nights in.

We had a wonderful stay at Serg’s place! He gave us great recommendations for hikes in the area, and was very friendly. The place was private, well kept, clean and well stocked. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again

What a beautiful place to stay in the Hudson Valley. The view from the property is just breathtaking. Dan’s place is very clean, open and beautifully furnished. We can’t wait to come back!

Found home easily, was easy access to Warwick, Wallkill, and Paterson tours. Apt was very clean just needed little loving care to bathroom floor mat, otherwise enjoyed stay area very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

The location was absolutely stunning! The river in the backyard created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean. At one point, it rained, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio.

I couldn't believe how responsive Agnieszka was! She made every effort to make sure my husband and I had a great stay. Her comfy deck, cozy fireplace, and nice shower were a godsend after my husband and I decided to brave a rainy hike. I think the place is very reasonably priced considering access to a pool and laundry are included. It's just down the street from hikes and resturants. I also enjoyed taking classes at Mountain Breeze Yoga just down the road.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Vernon, New Jersey, right by Mountain Creek. The one-bedroom space was exactly as described in the photos—clean, cozy, and inviting. The accommodations, including the pool and hot tubs, and sauna were fantastic and easily accessible. The host was very responsive to messages, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great, well-equipped condo close to plenty of activities. Michael was super responsive and made check in a breeze.

Paul's place was just as described. My husband and I had difficulty figuring out the thermostat and he was quick to reply to our request for help. The pool and hot tub were great! Very comfortable bed.

Perfect spot for a weekend of mountain biking.

This was a perfect stayfor the wedding weekend we attended. Location was perfect host was fantastic and the atmosphere was just what we needed. I would recommend this condo and host to anyone.

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.
