The wonderful forest nearby , the terraces and the house full of plants and love! Absolutely wonderful oasis and this room full of books and intimate. Great night at Hélène and Claude's place. The bed is ultra comfortable. They are very welcoming and the breakfast is exquisite. This is one of the BEST airbnb I've ever experienced. They are often sold out by the way. You'll have a choice of lots of homemade jams and delicious homemade bread. If you need to rent bikes, they are very well equipped (to be booked of course). You can safely park your car in their beautiful home. There are many sports activities to do around their home as Fontainebleau is not far away. If I have to come back to Melun, I would come back to their place without hesitation.

Very central apartment in a lovely area. We had concerns about sharing facilities with our host, but Anne was very discreet and it worked well. It would be worth a small investment in locks for the bathroom and toilet

Margaret was a wonderful host, and I felt very safe and comfortable staying in her home. It was an easy 10 minute walk from her home to the metro, and she helped me understand the Paris metro system. As a solo traveler, I felt welcomed and protected in her home. It was a joy to stay with Margaret and I hope to go back someday.

We loved our stay at Laurence's home. The location is fantastic, a short walk to pedestrian zones with restaurants and shops, the River Seine near Notre Dame cathedral and other sites; and Metro and bus. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was excellent in a lovely room overlooking the Saint Jacques tower and park. The space is a little unusual with the bedroom, toilet, and sink/shower all in different rooms off the shared hallway, but Laurence respected our privacy and we felt very comfortable with the set-up. We highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future. Laurence: thank you for being such a friendly and accommodating host - we really enjoyed chatting with you.

Friendly, helpful and very kind host! The apartment is clean, bright, perfect for two people, and is in a convenient location, close to the subway stop! Highly recommended!!

Blandine is a warm and caring host. The room is very clean and has a private bathroom. The accommodation is very well located, close to many attractions and especially very easy to access. Blandine guided us so well. She is very involved in communication and exchange. We enjoyed these little moments around the morning coffee. She's available and has great tips. Fabienne and her friends were incredibly kind. They were great hosts who proactively sent us very detailed directions to their home before our arrival. It was very easy to find because of this. They provided us with coffee and breakfast which was lovely. Their home is very nice and has a beautiful garden. We tried many of their restaurant recommendations and we loved them all. Their home is in a very good location and close to public transportation. We will definitely return to Paris and would love to stay here again.

The neighborhood was the Marais district, so the surrounding environment was clean, and there were many antique buildings and shops around. I want to recommend it because the neighborhood was beautiful. It was close to the subway station, and it was on the first floor, so you might hear a little noise, but the windows block out the noise well, so you can sleep well without waking up in the middle of the night after traveling. The breakfast provided by Morgan was also very good, and it was a happy accommodation because he was so kind. You can spread it out in the corner of the 28-inch carrier, but it's uncomfortable because the passage is blocked. The bathroom is also small, so it can be difficult for adult men. It's a recommended accommodation for two women traveling, and the bathroom was small but really neat, and the hair dryer had a strong wind, and there were cotton swabs and cotton pads, and the tissues were thick, and there was a large mirror in the center, so it was nice. The bed was big and the mattress was fluffy, so it was nice. It's close to all the tourist attractions. I totally recommend this place

Had a great time at Nicolas and Nora's. They are extremely welcoming people. Nicolas even picked me up from the train station. The dinner with Nicolas and Nora's family was very nice. Don't hesitate to stay with them.

Truly there are not enough words to describe our experience with Helene and her family. This was the best part of our Paris adventure thru Europe! She is incredibly kind, hospitable and fantastic person! Her home is impeccable and a true gem on the River Seine. The room was beautifully appointed and so clean. Traditional breakfast each morning served on her terrace brought me to tears. It was so heartfelt and truly dedicated to the travelers who pass through her home. The train station is walking distance to her home even with luggage in tow. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have!!!

Wonderful cocoon of a place. NB. Ceiling is a bit low if you are over 6 foot tall.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay with Fabienne. She is the most gracious host. We speak zero French, but somehow we were able to communicate just fine. She is friendly, helpful, and a delight. And the breakfast!! Pure heaven! I also got the best sleep I’ve had in months here. Quiet, dark, comfortable. Windows can open for a crisp breeze. Shutter provided for o block out light. She has thought of everything. We highly recommend this place.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable, complete with everything you need for a short stay. The rooms are completely in line with the photos. The big plus is the garden, where you can rest in the cool and quiet of the area.

Emmanuelle and her daughters were adorable, thank you to them for the welcome, their kindness, the recommendations of restaurants and walks, the bread and the homemade waffles! Special mention to Simba, an adorable Australian shepherd full of love. We recommend 100%.

We were extremely well received at Isabelle's. Her son very kindly introduced us to the accommodation which was beyond our expectations. The bedding is of very good quality guaranteeing beautiful restorative nights. The location is great, and we were able to enjoy the lovely light on the inner courtyard. Isabelle was incredibly kind throughout the stay which touched us a lot! I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful and clean apartment in a gorgeous complex. Isabelle stayed in the room next door and you have the master to yourself. Getting in and out of the apartment was very easy and independent. I absolutely loved my stay at Karine's place! After spending time in Paris city center I was so happy i booked her space just outside the city. The apartment is so beautiful, homely, cosy, and equipped with everything you need- and more. I loved the little outside area, the large windows that offer great natural light. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was big enough for one person. I felt right at home in Karine's apartment, using the kitchen space and enjoying her amazing book collection. The area and small town has many great bakeries, restaurants and shops. The apartment is a few minutes walk from various close by bus stations - or a quick 20min walk to a large metro strop. The area is relaxing, quiet and peaceful. I also felt really safe walking at night from the metro stop back to the apartment. I met Karine briefly and wish we had more time to get to know one another. I will be staying in her apartment the next time i have to visit Paris. Thanks Karine!
