Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gerani

Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

The stay at the hillside home was everything and more. The treats in the morning were a delight and the view was incredible. The host was quick to respond when we had any questions, and provided us with parking and recommendations to eat that were very close by. The parking and maneuvering around the streets may be tricky for some, so recommend renting a smaller compact vehicle. Everything ( beach, restaurants, grocery stores) is within a 5 min walk from the bnb!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet einen tollen Blick aufs Meer – perfekt, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub am Strand.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Ioanna and Theo’s lovely house! We were received & treated throughout our stay like honoured guests . The place is beautiful, romantic, streamlined & yet very well equipped with what one might need, it has a gorgeous view, great WiFi! We appreciated having coffee capsules for our morning coffee, water, wine, laundry and dishwasher soap, olive oil, salt pepper and other essentials, jam, tea, even beach towels were provided! 🙏No one wants to arrive to their AirBnb after a long, tiring trip and go shopping for basics. 😫Their whole approach of this charming couple is to make their guests’ stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible! We really like views and this house has one of the best ones we have ever seen! For views, in Greece, one must usually navigate narrow uphills, but to us it was absolutely worth it! Als we dit huis in één woord moeten omschrijven: wauw! Wat een fantastische plek. Het huis zelf, de jacuzzi… alles klopt. Als je echt even wilt ontsnappen aan de drukte, is dit absoluut een topkeuze. Binnen 10 minuutjes ben je bij heerlijke beachclubs, bij leuke restaurants of in het uitgaansleven, precies wat je zoekt tijdens een vakantie als je het ons vraagt. De fruitbomen rondom het huis zorgen voor een gevoel van rust. Echt prachtig! We vonden het oprecht jammer om hier weg te gaan, maar we komen zeker nog eens terug. Ook een groot compliment voor de eigenaar: wat een service! We waren iets vergeten, en hij heeft er alles aan gedaan om het terug bij ons te krijgen. Nogmaals ontzettend bedankt voor de fijne service en het geweldige verblijf. Tot snel! Bennie

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

Von Anfang bis Ende top! Easy beim Check in und out. Sehr gute Kommunikation während des ganzen Aufenthalts. Neue Unterkunft mit umfangreicher Ausstattung für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Platanias. Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Westküste und die Gegend um Chania. Hatte immer einen Parkplatz in der Nähe der Wohnung. Vielen Dank an Magda und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Maria is a fantastic host. She met my husband and me at the bus stop and showed us around the apartment and neighborhood, giving us recommendations for dining and things to do. Her apartment is located in the heart of Old Town just steps away from the waterfront, great restaurants (we especially loved Tamam), and shopping. She stocked the apartment with everything we'd need for our visit, including beach towels, breakfast items, candy, guidebooks, and more. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable in a charming building. Despite a decent amount of foot traffic nearby, it was quiet at night. We had the best sleep of our 10-day trip to Greece during our three-night stay. I can't recommend Maria's place enough for a visit to Chania!

Wir wurden sofort super herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Die Unterkunft war traumhaft schön, der Anblick kaum zu beschreiben. Die Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt. Der Vermieter super nett, aber gar nicht aufdringlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had an awesome week in Crete! The space was clean, with everything you need, and exactly as described and surrounded by olive trees, but what really made it special was the hospitality. They are absolutely excellent hosts, warm, responsive, and went out the extra mile to make us feel welcome! Truly rare form of hospitality that make us proud to be Greek. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Life. Da wir sehr früh angekommen sind, konnten wir schon mittags einchecken. Das Apartment hatte alles, was man braucht und wurde täglich gereinigt. Der Blick war wunderschön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Chania. Elina was responsive, a generous host, and gave some amazing recommendations! The apartment is clean and stocked for everything you will need for your stay. It is incredibly spacious and private. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, very short walk to the port, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The host was extremely responsive and always willing to help make our stay comfortable! Apartment was very clean and the jacuzzi is a great feature. Multiple cafe’s/bars just downstairs with great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be close to the venetian port and all Chania has to offer.

Ενα ομορφο κατάλυμα με οτι χρειαζεται κανεις . Πεντακαθαρο ευωδιαστο κυριολεκτικα. Επιπλωμενο με γουστο. Μικρος ευχαριστος οικονομικος χωρος με ολες τις ανεσεις. Περασαμε πολυ ωραία. Το συνιστω ανεπιφύλαχτα!

Rauhallinen alue, remontoidut puhtaat huoneet. Meillä oli oranssi huone, joka sijaitsee kellarissa pienillä ikkunoilla kadulle. Huone ei lämmennyt helteillä joka oli mahtavaa! Majoituimme 8 yötä, huoneessa oli saippuat ja shampoot valmiina. Sekä pientä naposteltavaa. Tämä oli ihana yllätys 🙏Rakennuksessa oli pyykkitupa, jossa pystyi pesemään vaatteita. Tämä oli mahtavaa koska me reissattiin vain repuilla. Omistaja oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Iso suositus!! 10/10

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Μείναμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από τη διαμονή μας. Ο Γιώργος ήταν πολύ άμεσος στην επικοινωνία και εξυπηρετικός. Το σπίτι είναι φωτεινό, ευάερο κοντά σε κεντρικά σημεία της πόλης και τη θάλασσα. Δεν αποτελεί χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα των περισσότερων bnb με σύγχρονες προδιαγραφές (πχ παλιές οικοσυσκευές, έπιπλα) και ανάλογη διακόσμηση αλλά αυτό το κάνει ζεστό και φιλικό. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν τα κάπως δύσχρηστα παράθυρα/μπαλκονόπορτες. Βρήκαμε μέσα ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Θα το προτείναμε.

We loved our stay at the Revekka Apartments. Location was great. Beach was within walking distance along with so many restaurants and places to shop and the surroundings were beautiful. Parking on site was so, so convenient. If you plan on cooking during your stay just know you'll need to buy basic spices and condiments.

Super séjour, Stella est super gentille. Nous sommes restés coincés dehors et les clés et téléphones étaient à l'intérieur… Les voisins ont été super gentils et ont appelé tout de suite Stella. Ils ont pu nous ouvrir ; tout le monde est serviable et souriant. Une super étape dans nos vacances 😍 Mention spéciale pour les petites attentions laissées dans le frigo et sur le plan de travail 😉

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

Angela is the best host, so helpful and pleasant , a lovely lady! and her apartments are better than the photos, we absolutely loved staying with Angela 😊👏
