House holiday rentals in Galiano Island

Penny's house in the west Vancouver area was a great place for our family vacation. It is easily walkable to many parks and the sea. The house has everything you would need to cook and a large kitchen. There are instructions on how to use many of the houses amenities. Overall it was a great place.

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

Arbutus House is set in a pristine and beautiful location on Pender Island, overlooking the water with expansive and well maintained private gardens. The house is full of character and is clean and filled with natural light. Our host, Budd, was extremely responsive and helpful and took care of all of our needs. We would definitely return to this location and recommend it to our friends.

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

As our first Airbnb experience, it set the bar for future experiences. It was exactly what it was described as in the listing. It was immaculately clean. Our group of 4 were very satisfied. And we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Parksville.

Bowen's place was very beautiful, though slightly dated. We highly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen had basic amenities including coffee, coffee supplies, wine glasses, etc, so we were happy. Bowen was very responsive when we needed anything, and we appreciated his quick communication. There's a shopping center within walking distance, and lots of beautiful trails near the house that were fun to explore. The bedrooms were a bit bright for our liking, and the mattresses a tad hard for our stiff backs but overall it was wonderful and we would stay there again.

This was truly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever experienced. The house was immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with top-notch amenities, and the bedroom and linens were incredibly comfortable and fresh. The heating system worked perfectly, and the towels were clean and soft — everything in the house felt well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the electric vehicle charger, which made our trip even more convenient. The breathtaking view of the ocean and the chance to see the tide come in and out so closely added a magical touch to our stay. It was a perfect, relaxing, and romantic getaway — we highly recommend it, especially for couples celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. We already miss this place! We loved waking up early in the morning to the view outside the bedroom, a feast for the eyes. Nature and tranquility surrounds this home. One could easily spend their days sitting on one of three decks taking it all in. Having the kayaks and paddle boards at our disposal allowed us to be a part of the activities on the water. And a soak in the hot tub was a much appreciated bonus! This is truly a home for an active lifestyle. With the climb up the nearly 70 steps to the street to the multiple daily walks to the business district in Deep Cove, you won't have to worry about making sure you get your exercise in. Thank you, John and Maria, for sharing your lovely home with us. It was a very special place for us to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We felt very spoiled by everything it offers and will definitely return again.

Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. We truly didn’t want to leave and started planning our next trip before we had even left. The apartment itself is gorgeous and was so clean. The bed was SO comfortable and we truly had no words for the balcony and the view. I couldn’t stop looking at it!!

A very private well designed and fully stocked cottage like home. Superb deck with amazing view and quite a few steps down to a lengthy rocky beach. Good space for a couple and a bunk room for added persons. Main negative is simply a gravel moderately sloped 'road/path' to your cottage so one simply needs to be able to make the short journey to your great place. Responsive friendly attentive hosts. Recommended

When you walk into this apartment you are greeted with the most stunning view. Just incredible! The apartment is modern but cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a restful, enjoyable break. My daughter slept on the comfortable sofa bed, and loved waking to the view. It is only a short drive to shops and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Sarah.

Amazing spot to relax. Clean and quiet. There is construction in neighboring properties but we didn't notice any noise. Definitely a spot we would come back to.

Our family of four had a wonderful time staying at Jessica’s place for the week. It was an excellent location, within a 5 minute walk to local restaurants including the Saturday market in Ganges and central to many hiking trails and attractions on the island. The place was well appointed with all the kitchen tools you need to cook a few meals and was also spacious. We would’ve happily return on a future visit to the island.

A fantastic house in an amazing location. We loved paddle boarding on the water and sitting on the sun deck! A wonderful way to spend a few chilled family days.

We had a great and very comfortable stay. The house was well-equipped, hot tub was lovely and the layout of the home was great for a family. The small touches like puzzles and a box of legos were happy discoveries, the loft was a lot of fun for the kids and we enjoyed the proximity to Eastsound downtown. We will be back!

Secluded, quiet neighbourhood with water access and great view. Loved the fire pit and kayaks! Be ready to climb up and down the steep steps, however.

Absolutely unique property the view of the Pacific was amazing. It is situated right at the end of the road so no passing traffic or people - very peaceful Very well equipped and comfortable Rob was very responsive especially when I couldn’t work out how to lock the door when we went out (you just press the unlock button). It’s amazing

We really enjoyed our stay at Zoe’s place in Mill Bay. Everything was clean and comfortable and we immediately felt at home. We really appreciated the fabulous deck where we sat at the end of each day sipping wine and recounting the day’s adventures. The directions were bang on and the home was easy to find. The driveway was large enough for our two vehicles which was nice. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are in the Mill Bay area.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

The views at this place are just stunning! You will be met with such an amazing sunset. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with what you need. It has the feel of an older cabin but still felt clean with nice touches. The drive really is up. Fine for us but like the listing says four wheel drive is a must. The hot tub was wonderful too.
