Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gaios

We had the most fantastic stay at Ares Villa. The property is beautiful and the attention to every detail was outstanding. We felt immediately at home . Some groceries were provided, together with wine. Washing machine , detergent, washing up liquid,toiletries were all there. Property and pool were cleaned several times per week, always with notice. Aris was the most wonderful host from the day we booked. He made helpful suggestions about which ferry to get from Corfu to Paxos, helped me arrange car hire and was there to meet us at the quayside when we arrived and take us to the villa. We arrived early and the car wasn’t quite ready but Aris even phoned the company and got them to deliver the car to the house. In summary we could not have wished for a more beautiful place or a more fantastic host. Thank you Aris and Lina for making our holiday so special!!

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Christina in May. The villa is lovely. Great views and a nice big terrace to eat outside. We found the villa well equipped and comfortable for our stay with kids. Lakka is a short walk down some steps (5mins or so - we had eight-year-olds and grandparents in our party). It’s close by but far enough for the villa to feel nicely secluded. Great family friendly beach is easily accessible on foot. No need for a car. Julia was super helpful and friendly. She sorted taxis for us and was able to help with any questions we had. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Pięknie wykończony budynek z przemyślanym wnętrzem i stylowymi dodatkami. Mieszkanie w pełni wyposażone. Pobyt w Lakka bym cudowny, a restauracja zaraz przy wyjściu z mieszkania najlepsza w jakiej jedliśmy na wyspie! Jednakże kilka rzeczy nam przeszkadzało: 1. Brakowało moskitier w oknach, wlatywały komary i inne owady. 2. Podłoga jest bardzo nierówna i ma to swój klimat starego domku, ale bujający się stół i krzesła nie były zbyt komfortowe. 3. Tygielek (briki) do parzenia greckiej kawy, której jedno z nas było miłośnikiem w stanie do wyrzucenia 4. Lubię gotować na wyjazdach i zawsze cieszy jak jest w dobrym stanie patelnia i podstawowe przyprawy jak sól, pieprz czy cukier. Niestety patelnia w stanie okropnym, a cukier zarówno w słoiku (gdzie były wsypane ze trzy różne rodzaje) i w jednorazówki w papierku był jakiś namoknięty, sklejony. Obrzydliwy. W kuchni był mały pojemnik na oliwę - pusty, lepiący i brudny. W przy takiej cenie mieszkania oczekiwałbym lepszej słabości o detale

Georgias Haus ist voller Charme, und ich verbrachte ein paar Tage wie im Traum. Das grosszügig geschnittene Wohn-Esszimmer )mit offener Küche und Kamin) ist durchflutet vom Licht, man sieht sogar das Meer in der Entfernung durchs Fenster. Die grosse Terrasse hat eine wunderbare Aussicht, um den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer zu bestaunen, und auch in den darunter gelegenen hübschen, terrassierten Garten und die weitere Natur. Sie verfügt über ein Aussencheminee / Barbeque. Die zwei nebeneinander liegenden Schlafzimmer haben - wie der Hauptraum - hohe Decken, was sie luftig machen. Das Badzimmer ist mit einer einfachen Dusche ausgestattet, die ihren Dienst bestens tut. Wer die Natur und Stille sucht, wird hier glücklich! Ca. 20 Minuten zu einer einsamen Bucht, ca 30-35 zu einem Sandstrand und einem Steinstrand, den beide viele Tagesausflügler aufsuchen, mit herrlicher Taverne. Muy buena experiencia en la casa de Margaret. La casa muy acogedora, en un sitio tranquilo y bonito. De Gaios está a 20 minutos andando, se puede ir perfectamente. La parada de buses para las playas está muy cerca. Margaret es encantadora, nos estaba esperando y nos dio muchos consejos útiles. Estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros en toda la estadía. Muchas gracias a Margaret por todas sus atenciones.

Emplacement parfait, très calme. Vue magnifique de la superbe terrasse. Plusieurs petites criques toutes proches où nous étions souvent presque seuls en plein mois de juillet. Seul petit bémol, ne pas avoir accès à la superbe piscine...

Rita’s cottage is the ultimate escape - a peaceful, private and scenic holiday haven. Nikoleta and Rita were a joy to deal with and very generous with their advice and time.

Theoni is a wonderful and attentive host! Her recommendations are spot on and she was always so helpful - I would always recommend her and her place to anyone who wishes to stay there and will definitely stay at her place next time I’m in Paxos.

This place is absolutely fabulous! Paxos is a beautiful island and George’s place is a real gem. The house is cosy, practical and at walking distance of the centre of Gaïos. We had no car but were able to walk everything and discover the island from our home away from home. If you’re looking for a place to have some peace and quietness and also enjoy the Greek lifestyle this is the place to be!

The best view in town!! With an infinity pool that looks over Gaois and boasts an incredible sunrise you are sure not to miss this spot. With that comes a very steep ascent to the house so would recommend an automatic car or a confident driver. Otherwise simple (and worth it). Andreas was an attentive host and the outside space is what sells this space. Very easy to explore the island after a morning relaxing but the pool. Andreas will be sure to give you lots of local recs. we will be back

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, quiet and private. Beautiful views. Just a 10-15 walk from Lakka down quite a steep road. Only a 10 minute walk to a pretty beach. Ioanna provided some food when we arrived which was a thoughtful touch.

Seven of us stayed in Villa Contessina and loved it. It was spotlessly clean and beautiful views. I would recommend this Villa if you are travelling to Gaios, Paxos. Fabulous place.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alekos in Paxos. The house is really well located, very near Loggos. It comes with a hire car which is a real plus. The best thing about the house is the pool - it's very large, not chlorinated and is deeper than most pools we've had in Paxos. My kids are teenagers and they really appreciated this. Communication was good with Irene and her team - all lovely people. We'd love to come back to Villa Alekos. Many thanks.

Sarah og George er sublime værter som sætter nye standarder for hvad det vil sige at være vært.Deres måde at følge dig helt til dørs så at sige er fantastisk.Når de så ydermere har et helt exceptionelt hus med den vildeste udsigt er 5 stjerner ikke nok.Elskede huset og omgivelserne og gik næsten hele øen rundt som er helt unik på de 3 dage vi var på øen. Vi blev helt ydmyge over vores held til at opleve denne perle. Ps: George is second to none😀

We had a lovely stay at Angela’s. One of the balconies is big and has a stunning view over the town and the harbour. If anything, the beds are a biiit hard for a one week stay. But I can definitely recommend the place.

I and my son spent 3 nights bei Napoleon and Ntina. I can just recommend this accommodation. The communication with Napoleon was quick and easy. Napoleon organised a taxi from Gaios to Lakka before our arriving. The flat is in the 1st flook from their house in a quiet place with a nice green view from the balcony. The flat is comfortable and clean, the bedroom so lovely arranged. A peaceful place. Napoleon and Ntina are lovely people, they gave us a warm welcome and we received also gifts from their oil shop. I recommend to visit their shop of different olive products, a good place to find nice, typical and natural presents. Their oil is so tasty! The flat is well situated in the neighbourhood of supermarkets, port, shops and so many restaurants. Lakka is an island for nature lovers: different beaches and foot paths in the little mountains. We have rent a scooter to go around the island. Napoleon phoned the scooter rental for us and made an appointment for us with the owner.

It was a very nice house, convenient for 7 people. Although you can move only by car, it is very close to all main villages. The rate is quite high but I think it is according to the rates of the whole island. The house and the design are traditional and modern in the mean time. It has many balconies that you can enjoy different hours of the day. All rooms have TV and the kitchen is well-equipped. Tonia was not there but her instructions were very specific (the actual procedures were even easier). Tonia's family lives at the basement and they are friendly, giving useful tips. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Ich kann meinen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Wohnung war makellos sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und genau wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt. Die Lage ist fantastisch – in der Nähe von allem, was man braucht, aber dennoch ruhig und entspannt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastfreundschaft des Gastgebers. Eleni war sehr hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an willkommen und gut betreut. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Zeit!

The villa looks actually better in reality. Super clean, brand new, extremely comfortable. Lots of space! 4 bathrooms, each room with A/C, lovely views over the bay, super close to some tiny nice (rocky) beaches and Balos beach. At night you have all the peace and tranquility of Mongonissi at your foot. Maria and her brother are such nice people, so helpful and responsive . This villa belongs to local people, not a company, and they are naturally kind and knowledgeable about their island. They will recommend ony the best of services or taverns, so please consider this a plus if the villa itself is not a reason to chose it alone!

Bella Vista is a wonderful place to stay with a gorgeous huge swimming pool, beautiful location with stunning views, set in amongst olive trees. Stefanos is a fabulous host, who collected us from the ferry port, organised quad bikes for us and more besides. The lovely Leda made absolutely beautiful breakfasts for us each morning. All in all, a fantastic holiday location from which to explore glorious Paxos.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν μια μοναδική εμπειρία! Το μέρος αυτό είναι πραγματικά επίγειος παράδεισος... Δύο από τις πιο όμορφες παραλίες που έχουμε δει ποτέ βρίσκονται σε απόσταση 10 λεπτών από το σπίτι! Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι απίστευτα ευγενικοί κ εξυπηρετικοί, ανταποκρίνονταν άμεσα σε κάθε μας ανάγκη κ μας πρότειναν μέρη που αξίζει να επισκεφθείς στο νησί. Το σπίτι είναι ακόμα πιο όμορφο από κοντά, πολύ ευρύχωρο για μια οικογένεια, έλαμπε από καθαριότητα κ ήταν εξοπλισμένο με όλα τα απαραίτητα. Ταξιδέψαμε με τα δυο μας παιδιά κι όλοι λατρέψαμε την ηρεμία και την υπέροχη θέα που αντικριζαμε από τη βεράντα του σπιτιού! Εις το επανιδείν!

Our first holiday aboard in 6 years and boy did this go beyond any expectations we had! Photos do not do this villa nor the location justice. It is a gem of a place, beautifully styled surrounded by the most idyllic gardens and an incredible beach a few minutes walk away! The hosts are a mother and son who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect from start to finish.
