Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

Our stay at the property was amazing - the house is even more beautiful in person. It had all the necessary facilities and the host was extremely helpful, answered our questions very quickly and very flexible all throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's. We were two families, four young kids and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked the location, as it wasn't downtown so it was quiet and had a good backyard for the kids, a pool, and a beautiful view! It was also easy to get to other parts of the island from. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook in. After being at the house for 5 days, a crew came and changed the linens and cleaned the house! We mostly communicated with Tomas, who checked us in and Joana. Both were lovely and very helpful! They were also extremely accommodating with check in/check-out! We were able to check in early which was critical for the kids after a redeye and they let us check out later than the normal check-out time. We highly recommend this house for future guest!

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. Big, nice house in central location in Furnas. walking distance to restaurants, shops, bakeries, Terra Nostra. It was wonderful to have two thermal baths on the property. The house was very clean and Roberto was very friendly and helpful.

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

It's hard to find a superlative for this house. Our nicest one (of three) on the acores. It feels like a good hotel, but is much more private. The view is breathtaking and the so is the pool & the jaccuzi. Everything you need is there.

The location in Furnas was perfect both for exploring Furnas and for day trips outside of Furnas. The kitchen was well equipped and clean with a private patio and garden to enjoy a morning coffee. The home itself was comfortable easily absorbing a group of 8 and the bedrooms were clean and had comfortable beds and pillows. Even beach towels were provided for the spa experience. We had to adjust our arrival time and the hosts were pleasant and accommodating. (A very thoughtful welcome basket awaited us.) All in all, we all enjoyed our stay and felt like we picked the perfect spot full of Azore ambiance!

This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

If you go to Sao Miguel, STAY HERE! The views alone make it totally worth it. The house is absolutely stunning, The beds were so comfortable, snacks were left for us, the house is stocked with everything you could want in a home stay but most importantly the reception from Welcome Buddy and the house owner brought this house to perfection. We had some bad luck with flights being cancelled and had to forgo part of our trip. The hosts were accommodating to our new plans in the most generous way. It was my daughters 25th birthday and they arranged a party with a chef and decorations for the most gorgeous wonderful dinner from the highest rated chef on the island. The weather was a big bummer for us but having this house and these people here made up for all of the weather. The island (at least when we went) is very humid so bring clothes that dry quickly. We will return to this house when we go back to Sao Miguel.

Very good stay. The view and layout of the house that allows you to enjoy the view from everywhere are really the highlight of this cottage. It's also very nice to be able to walk to all the activities offered by this beautiful city of Furnas. Thanks also to José Maria, always attentive and proactive.

Beautiful base for Sao Miguel We loved Erico‘s place which was comfortable, beautifully decorated and charming. It also was very well equipped with dishes, spices, generous towels und great beds. Parking on the steep street is a bit daunting to start with and there are barking dogs just like everywhere else on the island that break up the serenity but the place is a real haven and between walking to the beach and driving to the different corners of the island it’s in a great place too. Érico was a responsive generous host, from the welcome bread and milk to restaurant recommendations , thank you Erico, we would definitely come again

We loved this place! Amazing view from the backyard. Highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to São Miguel.

This location was perfect as a home base for our trip to Sao Miguel. We had rented a car and any part of the island was less than an hour drive away. This made it very easy for us to get out hiking, eat at one of the various delicious restaurants across the island, explore one of the many beautiful beaches and then return home and still be within walking distance of Praia de Agua d’Alto if we wanted to keep going. If it’s a rainy day, you’re nearby Furnas and could easily enjoy some time in the thermal baths. Highly recommend booking if this great location is available for even a portion of your stay in the Açores!

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.

We had a great time at Claudia's place. The place is beautiful and very well kept. Claudia recommended some really nice places and the location is ideal for visiting the whole west of the island. 🥰❤️🙏🏾

We had a beautiful stay with Ana. She was an exceptional host, and the house was so peaceful and clean. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed; we appreciated the books and nice crib for our toddler. Her cats were always there to greet us and were so sweet. Great location for our stay, the town has a grocery store and great restaurants. Thank you, Ana!

Loved our 4 nights staying here. This was a good location to visit many spots on the island and enjoyed some good restaurants nearby. Cristana was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This location is INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, watching the huge aqua waves roll past the Mosteiros rocks and appreciated the easy access to the beautiful black beach. Parking is just up the street. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathroom worked well. Ricardo was very helpful with a reservation for dinner. We highly recommend the restaurant MoMo in nearby Ginetes. Mosteiros is well located if you plan to visit Sete Cidades and the thermal pools in Ferraria. This is a great spot!

What a perfect place to stay centrally located on the island. The hosts were great and quick to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here! The bar down the street can get a little loud on the weekend, but not too much of an inconvenience.

5 stars because the place was great and perfect for us, totally affordable for something that sleeps 4 people comfortably, and the hosts we're great, but a couple of considerations for anyone looking to book this Airbnb. Location - you're a long way away from most of the main attractions on the island besides Furnas. Renting a car is a must. We didn't mind because the drives were beautiful and we did stuff along the way. There's also a very noisy dog across the street so if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in it may bother you. Didn't bother us much. Pool - The pool area is beautiful and even nicer and more spacious than the pictures, that said the climate is very mild and it rains off and on so we essentially didn't use it.

We had a great stay at Nuno’s place! The apartment was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Nuno was an amazing host—very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. The only downside was the noise from the street; there were parties with loud music almost every evening until 1 or 2 a.m., which made it hard to sleep at times. Still, if you’re okay with a lively atmosphere, this is a fantastic spot!

His place was everything we wanted. Great view of the water. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Thank you! We will be back. Barry and Karen
