I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rufaro’s place! The home truly offered the best home experience I could have asked for, with everything perfectly in place to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. A big plus was the availability of back-up power, which provided peace of mind during my stay. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The property was meticulously maintained with thorough cleaning, making it feel fresh and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Lastly, the location is situated in a very safe neighbourhood, which added to my overall sense of security and comfort throughout my visit. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay.

We had a power outage at our home and decided to book Daniel and Tracy’s place in Norwood. The house was beautiful and felt like home right away. Daniel was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great too, with shops and restaurants just around the corner. Would definitely recommend.

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

It's always an amazing stay at Mpho's, it was a really cold long weekend but the gas heater and the electric blanket were a really nice touch an there was an extra blanket available. So peaceful and the hosts were really helpful whenever we requested assistance with anything. It truly felt like home. Definitely coming back again 😅

I was fortunate to stay at this gorgeous unit for two nights. A spotless and characterful apartment, reminds me of a boutique hotel with attention paid to even the smallest of details making the unit feel like home. Unlike a hotel which can feel clinical, this unit in particular has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a strict no noise policy which is fantastic and provides a comfortable environment in which to relax. The hosts are exceeding pleasant to deal with and turnaround times on messages is instant. I cannot possibly fault a single aspect of this unit or the hosts. Highly recommend as the first choice for accommodation in this area. Security is tight as a drum, the amenities are all catered for and the apartment is impeccably clean and decorated. 5 stars are an injustice as it should receive more than that. Highly recommend and looking forward to booking this unit again!

Really beautiful, clean and perfect for 2 guests. Needs a few more bits of cutlery but overall, really nice, free of clutter. Would like the cleaner maybe twice a week as they only carter for once a week. Everything else was perfect. The cleaner is really good, 10/10 for her.

Excellent location. A bit of confusion during check in as the apartment wasn't ready, but the maid and the front desk ladies were super kind. We just waited an hour and were able to enjoy the beautiful apartment. This stuff happens.

From the moment we arrived, Louise was available to check us in and explain about the accommodation. She was very responsive to messages, and the studio was well stocked for self catering and for a comfortable stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend Louise’s place for anyone looking to stay in Joburg.
