Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fountain County

Lovely, clean home on quiet street. Woke to birds singing in trees every morning. Excellent location close to campus and minutes from grocery store and other amenities. Backyard tables, chairs, and screened in porch all excellent ways to enjoy some fresh air. And fire pit with comfy chairs were nice touch to end the evenings. Sharon was very responsive to questions during our stay. Will definitely check to see if this home is available next time my family comes to campus again!

Loved our stay in their beautiful home. We were all in love with it and it was perfect for all of our needs. Great location if you’re planning on going on the river.

Amazing house! Great area for families and a short walking distance to fun places in town. Bailey was communicative and very easy to work with - I would highly recommend this house to any person or family visiting the area!

We had a great stay while in the area balancing delivering/picking up our boy to campus for AAMB responsibilities and getting to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 and associated events. This was a great balance- easy to campus, convenient to stores and restaurants on the north side of town, and easy to get to I-65 for the run down to Indy. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We make several trips to the area every year for games and other campus events, and this house will be at the top of our list for future visits.

We were so pleased with our stay in this comfortable and spacious home. The neighborhood was quiet, with sidewalks to take evening strolls to the nearby Armstrong Park. A wonderful restaurant, Teays River Brewing, is only a short walk or drive away. The house has a lovely private backyard with beautiful trees and birds. The home had so much beautiful natural light. The open, spacious kitchen, living and dining areas were perfect for being together while cooking and relaxing. The large, comfortable front porch was perfect for after dinner relaxation. Everything we needed was provided, and we were thrilled with our stay. When we visit Lafayette again we will absolutely stay in this charming and cozy home.

Thank you for being a kind and gracious Hostess!! We had a wonderful stay! Your BnB was so much more than I had hoped for! So beautifully decorated with so many amenities and so much love! We really felt at home for our 3 week stay as we transitioned from our own home. I would absolutely recommend this BnB to anyone who is looking for a warm and cozy small town getaway. Away from the craziness of the city.

It was nice quite peaceful place to stay. The only thing that I did not appreciate was the exterminator. When they came they knocked three times then came in. I would have appreciated some kind of heads up. I could have been naked or even having sex. So that was unfavorable. Other than that one hiccup, my stay here was amazing.

We had a great stay in Dana. Kevin’s house is beautiful, with a private access to the apartment above his garage. It is quite secluded but easy to find. We showed up after dark but Kevin had lights lining the driveway for us to see our way. The front of the house was roaming with deer when we arrived. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated with a comfy couch and chair in the living area and antique bedroom furniture in the bedroom. The place was very clean, to the point of spotless. The bath towels were fluffy and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. During our stay we went to Parke county to see covered bridges throughout the day, visited the old mill in Bridgeton, ate at Benjamin’s in Rockville, and watched a movie at the old time movie theater The Ritz. I enjoyed my time in the area and would love to return during the bridge festival one day.

I, my fiancee, and my parents stayed here for my son’s graduation from Purdue. Finding reasonably priced accommodations in or around Lafayette for events is impossible, so I found this gem of a property only 55 minutes from campus. The drive into West Lafayette is on empty back roads through beautiful farmland. This would also be a great place to stay with a group for a football game. The cabin was perfect for us and there was room for more people if we had them. Comfortable and quaint as a country cabin should be. Well appointed and equipped. The property is astonishing, the flowers and gardens and landscaping is gorgeous. You’re surrounded by forest and the peace and quiet is palpable. We loved sitting on the covered patio and by the fire pit. The river is just down the hill, but I didn’t have time to fish…we saw lots of fish in there! We will be back when my son graduates from his grad program in a couple of years!

Gary and Kris's house was amazing! The space was roomy and fun. It was well appointed and the kitchen had every pot or pan you could imagine. The deck is very nice and the view from it was serene. We saw lots of wildlife in the back and side yards and were able to catch fish right from the dock. It was easy to find and there's a lot that's close in case you forget anything. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Michael is a great host! We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It has a beautiful view of the lake. It was comfortable with lots of amenities. We would go back!

If you're looking to get away with a large group of friends/family, this is the place! I took my group of myself and 11 other friends to this AirBnB for a 5 day stay and it was fantastic! A beautiful dock to sit out on, a campfire you can make, or if you wanna sit in…so many cozy spots. The house was stocked with all the basic needs you could have. Toilet paper, soap, sugar, paper towels, trashbags… Will definitely be coming back here if we get the chance to!

Wonderful communication from the host, clear instructions sent out before hand, absolutely my favorite cabin in the woods trip to date! I've done this 1-2 times a year for the past few years, and Anna's kitchen was by far the best stocked I've seen, incredibly appreciative of this! The only thing of note is a couple of the nails in the flooring were up and could have been a potential painful step, but I would 100% recommend this stay and would absolutely stay here again myself!

We had an excellent stay! With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, our group of 5 had plenty of room and privacy. The location is great - beautiful woods and right next to Turkey Run. The house was very clean! Lots of towels, pillows, and blankets. They had a nice selection of big spray and sunscreen, but bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash.
