Unique cabin with fjord view and private boat space

Charge your batteries at this unique and quiet place to stay. The morning coffee can be enjoyed both inside and outside with the same feeling of proximity to nature. Large windows with views of the spindle fjord and height under the roof make nature close by. Shared jetty with its own boat space you will find about a 2 min walk down to the sea. There you can swim from the jetty. If you rent a boat, it is right out in a varied archipelago with good fishing opportunities. Beaches are about 15 minutes away towards Lista. 10 minutes by boat/car to the city center.

Skipperhuset

Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The skipper house was built in 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in spring 2021. In collaboration with the local paint company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and aisle with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is walled in with the brewery house that has renovated the baking oven.

Our guests note the stunning views that provide serenity and the garden that provides freedom. The cottage is modern with high quality of all materials, and design furniture. Furthermore, the cabin is built for family use, but is rented out in anticipation of our children to use this. The cabin is located in a cultural-historical area from the sailing and cape era. There are good hiking possibilities nearby, close proximity to stunning sandy beaches. Farsund is a charming southern village and the Lista peninsula has a unique landscape.

Sjøbua Siri&Kurt

Recharge with luxury at this unique and tranquil accommodation. Lovely romantic little cottage with view that provides peace of mind. Large terrace/dock with outdoor furniture, gas grill, and wood-fired hot tub! (IMPORTANT! The hot tub DOES NOT have bubbles or massage, only delicious hot water). Inside there is a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower, rich kitchen and living room with TV and standard tv channels. Loft/loft with 2 single beds, 1.80 m ceiling height. Free SUP board and small kayak.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

The Longhouse At Lista - Apartment 1

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. The traditional Longhouse has found new form and function in an impressive modern architecture which makes this place a unique retreat for birdwatchers, surfers, kiters and nature loving families, and groups.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern cabin of a high standard! This is our own family cabin that we use as often as we can, but which we are happy to share with others when we are not there ourselves. The cabin is spacious with its 150 m², has four bedrooms and space for up to 11 people – perfect for two families who want to vacation together. We hope you are as happy as we do!

Fantastic fjord and mountains views

A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.
