Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Faroe Islands

Very nice and cozy places, well-equipped facilities and amenities

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our hosts Tora and Samal and the accommodations. We also found it pleasant to meet other guests who were staying there at the same time. We had many engaging conversations while there. We loved the Faroe Islands and had many pleasant experiences and saw beautiful places. The weather is changeable but we were lucky and had little rain to speak of. We had rented a car and traveled to several of the islands and returned “home” each evening. We stopped at a grocery and purchased food for our breakfasts and lunches. It was helpful to have access to the refrigerator, cooktop, sink and all the necessary dishes, cookware and utensils to prepare simple breakfasts and lunches.

Oh my gosh, this apartment was fantastic! It was clean, well-appointed, and the location was perfect—easy walking distance to great dining (at Hamsa) and the grocery store, and a quick drive into Torshavn when we wanted to go to town. There was lots of space for our family, including the lovely balcony overlooking Nilsoy. We were able to make meals in the nicely appointed kitchen and washed and dried our clothes in Miele W/D. The beds were so comfortable and the quality of the linens was great. Check in and check out was simple, and the hosts were exceptionally responsive on the couple of occasions we needed their assistance. Sigh… Can you tell we’re longing to go back?

I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Maybe it's because of how great Feroe Islands are but I couldn't have seen as much as I did without help from this gracious host. The apartment is a well designed and furnished place too.

We loved this place and it is very well suited for families and couples. It offered self tjeck-inn and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The house was newly restored with a spacious modern kitchen and livingroom that has everything you need. With the panorama windows, the view from the kitchen is breathtaking, seeing right out to the open sea. The bedrooms were new and look good. Two faced towards the sea and had corner windows, with spectacular view in two directions. The bathroom has everything it needs, including a hairdryer. In addition to offereing a newly restored modern home, with some charming old details kept that give it character, there was a large outdoor balcony that offers the opportunity for grilling and enjoying your food or just the view outdoor. Just across the road there is good parking opportunity, as well as there is a great playground for children in various ages. We loved it and will definitely stay there again and can recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly hosts. The location is a 20-minute walk from the ferry port and main bus station. However, most buses I needed stopped by SMS shopping mall, which you can reach through a lovely shortcut with some fields and animals. That would take me a little over 10 minutes. There was not much competition for the bathroom, especially as you have your own sink in the room. A good, clean, pleasant and quiet place with a lovely view of Nólsoy from the spacious living room, where you can eat and watch tv if you are so inclined.

Een hele fijne plek om te zijn! Heerlijk schoon en perfect uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben het babybedje als plek om te spelen gebruikt voor onze baby omdat we zelf ook een bedje bij ons hadden. Super fijn dat we gebruik konden maken van het elektrische laadpunt voor onze auto. Sigrun was heel aardig en behulpzaam!

There was a small ‘problem’ while checking in, but is was solved fast and appropriate. We really liked our stay. The guesthouse is within walking distance of the city center and restaurants. Sámal and Tórharda are polite hosts.

Tora and Sámal are very friendly hosts and they were very responsive during my stay. The location is very conveniently located. You can get to the harbor (downtown) in less than 10 mins drive and grocery store is just 2 mins away. This place has a small kitchen so you can lunches and dinners if you want to save some money. Washroom is quite clean. Last but not least, you get a GREAT view from the common area. I would recommend this place to any travelers. And if I revisit Faroe island, I’d probably stay here again.
