Toller Ort, um auf Flores zu verweilen! Nebenbei lernt man zudem interessante Menschen kennen, die sich die Unterkunft mit einem teilen. Die Anfahrt über die steile Zufahrt ist eng und schwierig und gerade mit dem Mietwagen gilt Vorsicht. Ansonsten alles sehr gut strukturiert, jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene Farbe und demnach hat alles seine Ordnung. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier einfach. Leider waren die Vermieter nicht vor Ort, was aber nicht weiter schlimm war. Klare Empfehlung für Urlauber, die den WG Charakter nicht scheuen 👌🏻

Telma Maria was great and very responsive. She made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time on Flores. We were able to bring my dad’s ashes to his church in Lajes and bring him to the house he grew up in. Thank you for helping us complete my father’s dying wishes.

Das Haus und die Küche sind super ausgestattet und man findet alles, was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig (wie überall auf Flores), aber dennoch perfekt für Wanderungen und kurze Spaziergänge zum Meer. Der Garten mit Blick auf die Wasserfälle und die Nähe zum Meer (für den perfekten Sonnenuntergang) sind ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Pedro ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

While it might seem pricey, there's barely any good inexpensive accommodation on Flores island. As for the place itself, it's located in a small quiet village. There is no grocery store there but Nélia told me about that beforehand in a medsage, so it wasn't an issue as we did shopping near the airport. The place is rather nice overall. When we arrived, we were greeted by two sweet cats and then one of the home owners. There's a dedicated parking spot. It might be too small if you have a longer car (a wagon or SUV). Usual hatchbacks (that rental companies offer most of the time) fit perfectly. There is a washing machine but if you want to wash your clothes, it likely won't dry overnight or even in full 24 hours because of the climate: the humidity is very high. Keep that in mind if you plan washing. Internet connection speed was a nice surprise. Getting 500 Mbps in a small village on an island near the ocean... wow. Overall, it was a great stay. Me and the family thank the hosts!

Un logement très bien aménagé, décoré avec soin, bien équipé, dans un village magnifique avec superbes randonnées et la mer à proximité. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Pedro mais Veronica qui nous a accueillis chaleureusement et fait des recommandations de restaurants et d'activités. Une très bonne adresse.

The house was an amazing experience. It has a lot of history. The kitchen was very well equipped. The surroundings was just beautiful. I enjoyed having my morning tea on the front porch, looking out the waterfalls.
