Holiday rentals with beach access in Eysturoy

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

Nestled in a quiet corner of Torshavn, overlooking the water. Beautiful, peaceful, well-designed place. Would happily stay here again.

En dejlig lejlighed med en skøn udsigt. Ren og pæn. Central beliggenhed. Fin velkomst . Det eneste lille minus var manglende beskrivelse af, hvordan opvaskemaskinen startes. Alt i alt var vi meget tilfredse med lejligheden.

Excellent location with spectacular views that shine when the sun is out in this beautiful little part of Faroe Islands! Very easy to get to the airport or to Torshavn and is perfect for whichever part of the islands you want to visit.

Virkelig hyggelig og god lejlighed. Manglede ikke noget. God plads. Sød og imødekommende vært. Ro og fred. Kan anbefales Lugtede af færøsk mad/får ellers var alt super fint.

L'emplacement est magnifique, face à l'océan avec deux chemins d'accès au bord de mer. Deux fenêtres donnent de la salle a manger sur l'océan. Tout est très calme et l'activité à l'étage très modeste et tout à fait supportable, pas gênante du tout. Le salon est un peu sombre, pas orienté vers la vue mais très confortable, avec des plaids et de confortables coussins. La literie est excellente, et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. la décoration est adaptée et de bon goût. La cuisine est très bien équipée, cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, micro-onde et lave-vaisselles. Nancy nous a bien aidé lors du marathon afin que nous ne soyons pas coincé par les barrages. A recommander sans hésiter.

Très bien situé sur le port, parking aisé en face du logement. Décoration design, empreinte du passé dans cette demeure ancienne revisitée et tout confort, vue imprenable baignant tout le logement. Sanitaires pratiques et bien agencés, chambre sous le toit, matelas 2 x 1 personne très qualitatif. Possibilité de laver et essorer son linge, un must bien utile aux Féroé. un accueil chaleureux et très pro pour les conseils avisés et les écueils à éviter, carte, lampe frontale et jumelles à disposition. Tout est parfait, l'endroit, la vue, le charme, et l'aide de qualité!

Would stay here any time I’m in the Faroe Islands! They are incredibly responsive and also went out of their way to get us tissues when we told them we kept getting runny noses due to the weather. The house itself is always warm and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring many Faroe Island attractions (Mykines, lake above the ocean, witch’s finger, etc.) I appreciate the fully dark blinds to cover the windows. Note that the pillows are very soft and you might want to bring your own if that is an issue. Nicolina’s place is the basement of a house and there are soft footstep sounds above if you are a light sleeper.

Pobyt w tym domku to była czysta magia! Miejsce zachwyca spokojem i niesamowitymi widokami — z okna rozciąga się malowniczy krajobraz na wodę z górami w tle, ponadto codziennie mogliśmy obserwować pasące się tuż pod domem owce. Domek jest przestronny, czysty i świetnie urządzony. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje kuchnia — doskonale wyposażona we wszystko, czego potrzeba. Można poczuć się jak w domu, a jednocześnie całkowicie oderwać od codzienności. Dodatkowym atutem była świetna lokalizacja – domek okazał się idealną bazą wypadową do zwiedzania Wysp Owczych. Na pewno będziemy polecać znajomym!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Haus in Leynar. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und dennoch zentral, um die Inseln zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht: eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Utensilien, ein wohliger Kamin für gemütliche Abende und ein Badezimmer mit ausgezeichnetem Wasserdruck. Nach einem Tag voller Entdeckungen war es der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Komfort und eine großartige Lage schätzen.

La casa di Anita si trova in un posto meraviglioso! Sembra di stare in un sogno! È completamente attrezzata di tutte le cose necessarie e pulita. Noi essendo solo una coppia l’abbiamo trovata grande, la consigliamo sopratutto per una famiglia per un soggiorno da sogno! 😊

Belle ancienne maison idéalement située dans un environnement très calme. La vue est spectaculaire et la situation de la maison permet de visiter la majeure partie des Îles Féroé. La maison était très propre et très bien équipée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Wow, what a special place! It was an honor to stay in Annika’s family home. Such a peaceful and serene setting, and the house is lovely, clean and open. The view over the fjord is absolutely stunning. It was lovely to walk on the property, especially with all the sheep and lamb. Annika is an amazing host. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. it was perfext for two, but can easily accommodate more (3 bedrooms of which we only used 2). the interior is a true gem - a way-back-machine to the early 20th century, antique furniture, a shockingly well equipped kitchen (really, kudos for that! ther is also a cupboard with proper cocktail tools, something i've never seen in airbnbs before...), while not missing out on any amenities. I would gladly come again! Also, there was the most lovely guest book. If you want to check out the Elusive Glass Puffin and where to find it plus other guest's local recommendations, you need to visit yourself and have a look!

Our stay at Hans’ place was lovely. Everything was as described. Lovely nature around the house and a good starting point for adventures all over the Faroe Islands. Hans was super nice and even helped me with suggestions when I had I puncture in my car tire. He also brought a tire pump to help out. By far one of the best stays I ever booked!

Excelente estancia, la casa era muy acogedora y ordenada, lo encontramos todo muy limpio. Estaba muy cerca del centro. Íbamos con bebé y Helgi nos ayudó en todo momento prestándonos una cuna y una trona.

Rent och fräscht boende med alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Några minuters promenad till närmaste matbutik och till centrum. Vi tänker oss att turister på Färöarna inte tar sovmorgon, det kan också upplevas svårt att göra eftersom det är väldigt lyhört i bostaden. Man hör alla fotsteg men för oss gjorde inte detta något, vi skulle ju kliva upp för att utforska öarna varje dag. Vi rekommenderar det här boendet. Trevlig värd och bra läge!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Was für eine tolle Aussicht! Man hat schön Platz in der Wohnung, sie ist sehr geräumig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht (Einrichtung ist live love laugh style). Super Gastgeber!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
