Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Essaouira

This was my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it was absolutely amazing! I only stayed for one night, but it was incredibly comfortable and exactly what I needed. What truly makes this place stand out is the host, Astouk. They are so friendly and incredibly helpful, making sure everything is perfect for your stay. Their hospitality really makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend this listing and can't wait for my next visit! 🥰

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner chez Hicham, et dès notre arrivée, tout respirait la perfection : un logement d’une propreté irréprochable, décoré avec goût, où chaque détail semble avoir été pensé avec soin. L’accès est simple, la localisation idéale, et surtout… la communication avec Hicham a été fluide, rapide et pleine de bienveillance. On sent qu’il ne s’agit pas juste d’un hébergement, mais d’une véritable expérience d’accueil. On revient les yeux fermés!

There are a lot of pros with Rihab’s place. Great interior design and spacious. Nice little touches like a bowl of oranges and some dried fruit and nuts to snack on. You can fairly easily get to the beach where they ride the horses, camels and quads - Amazing! To get there we clicked on the listing “Directions link” - beware that it takes you to a very similar address in the Medina. Must have wrong coordinates. The hosts responded fast but struggled a little giving quick guidance (language barrier). They referred to the video they have posted, which is not so helpful if their information takes you to the wrong place to begin with. The area is up and coming with a lot of construction around, but wasn’t noisy. Very nice cafe just around the corner, a pharmacy, spa, boutique and a cool quad rental place. Very easy parking on the street just outside the apartment is a huge plus and it’s easy to drive down to the Medina and park in one of the city lots.

Die Wohnung von Claudia ist hell, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll und sehr schön landestypisch eingerichtet – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Die voll ausgestattete Küche eignet sich perfekt zur Selbstverpflegung. Besonders genossen haben wir die Dachterrasse, die mit Grillmöglichkeit und windgeschütztem Bereich wie ein zusätzliches Zimmer genutzt werden kann – ideal auch bei Wind! Abends war der Holzkamin in der Wohnung ein echtes Highlight. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig, mit kleinen Läden aber auch einem großen Supermarkt in der Nähe – und gleichzeitig ist man schnell am Strand oder in der Medina, entweder zu Fuß oder per Taxi (pauschal 8 Dirham). Das größte Plus war Claudias herzliche und persönliche Betreuung: Sie hat all unsere Fragen beantwortet, uns am CTM-Bahnhof abgeholt und am Ende sogar zum Flughafen gefahren. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis war der Ausflug mit ihr zum Sonntagsbauernmarkt nach Had Draa – das werden wir nie vergessen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder!😍

Le séjour chez Fatima était parfait ! Le logement était propre, bien situé et très confortable. Fatima a été très accueillante et disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement !

L’appartement d’Olivier est toujours aussi agréable. Comme d’habitude les vacances se sont bien passées. Olivier est toujours aux petits soins pour ses hôtes.

Il s’agit d’un Riad sur 4 niveaux. Nous étions 3 et avons occupé l’étage 2. L’étage 3 est le toit terrasse accessible avec le logement loué. Personne d’autre n’occupera le Riad en même temps que vous. Soit vous êtes 4 ou moins et vous occupez l’étage 2 comme nous soit vous êtes plus et vous aurez le Riad entier. C’est plus beau en vrai qu’en photo. C’est organisé autour d’une terrasse on est à la fois dedans et dehors. Très confortable, très bien placé, très propre, très spacieux avec le tout terrasse en plus. Les +++ : cuisine bien équipée, eau chaude stable, lumineux et pas humide, rénové avec goût, bien placé dans la médina, espaces extérieurs m, accueil + avec Latifa. Seuls défauts : au fond d’une d’impasse pas très propre, wifi capricieux, terrasse à balayer tous les jours car attiré le sable les jours de vent (très fréquents à Essaouira). Nos avons adoré notre séjour et notre logement et c’est dans ce road que nous quand nous reviendrons.

We had the most amazing stay at this Villa. Christine and Nicholas were so helpful before hand with renting a car and advice on what to do there. We were warmly welcomed by Omar and Najat on our arrival and the house looked just as amazing as the pictures. We loved the pool which is really good size with plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding around it. Najat was so wonderful with her care, we loved her cooking, so delicious and massages we wonderful too. We felt so well looked after it was almost overwhelming. Omar's gentle presence was reassuring too and he took care of a minor repair quickly, he also arranged Camel riding for us. Essaouira is beautiful and everyone we met was so friendly and easy going. Words cannot express enough how joyful a holiday it was, we were sad to leave and hope to go back someday. thank you

Très belle maison conforme à la description sur l'annonce. Idéalement située entre Essaouira et Sidi Kaouki. Nous remercions Lionel et Sophie pour les recommandations de snacks et restaurants (nous avons été ravi à chaque fois). Le jardin et la piscine sont très bien entretenus même pendant le séjour. Super séjour en famille je recommande ++++

Romain est facilement joignable, et nous a beaucoup aidé. La villa est vraiment très belle. Je vous recommande absolument d'y passer. Plein de petits détails sympas, ainsi qu'une piscine / terrain de pétanque et terrasse trop agréables. Niveau prix / qualité il n'y a pas mieux. Merci beaucoup à Romain et à bientôt j'espère :)

Excellent séjour pour nous (nous étions 7) dans ce riad en plein cœur de la médina ! Nos hôtes ont su rendre notre séjour parfait en tout points : Riad propre et très joliment décoré, tout à disposition, possibilité de petit déjeuner sur place (très bon et très copieux avec les crêpes et le miel, omelettes, etc), livraison de repas à domicile (tajine poulet citron et couscous délicieux !!), recommandations sur les activités et contacts, nous avons fait un hammam super et du henné à la maison ! Le taxi recommandé par Said est très gentil et nous a conduit à un prix abordable pendant notre séjour. Said est toujours disponible pour nous répondre et trouver ce que l’on cherche, c’est un hôte parfait ! Très bon rapport qualité prix au vu de l’emplacement et de la disponibilité de nos hôtes ! Nous recommandons !

Unsere Erwartungen wurden definitiv übertroffen ! Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an zuhause gefühlt, und konnten nach einigen schlechten Erfahrungen in anderen Unterkünften während unserer Reise, endlich wieder gut schlafen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut am Rande der Medina, gleich am Meer, gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit Soedade und auch mit Hassan und Milouda war sehr gut. Unseren ersten Tag in Essaouira haben wir sehr entspannt auf der Dachterrasse begonnen, wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, und erst spät nachmittags das Haus verlassen :) Eine Wohnung die ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen kann, und hoffe bald dahin zurück zu kehren. Vielen Dank für dieses Happy End unserer Reise!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus war makellos sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Die Gastgeber waren überaus gastfreundlich und haben uns bei jeder Frage und jedem Anliegen prompt und mit viel Engagement weitergeholfen. Sie standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und waren stets erreichbar. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass sie uns zweimal zum Essen eingeladen haben – die Gastgeberin hat selbst gekocht und uns mit fantastischem, sehr umfangreichem Essen verwöhnt. Außerdem hatten wir die Gelegenheit, zwei weitere ihrer Unterkünfte zu besuchen und dort gemeinsam zu essen. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Vielen Dank für diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft – wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!"

Nous avons passé 8 nuits formidables entre amis dans cette maison magnifique, décorée avec goût et ultra fonctionnelle. Parfaite avec un bébé, tout y est pratique et bien pensé. Les paysages alentours sont sublimes. La maison est un peu à l’écart, mais avec une voiture, le centre de Sidi Kaouki est à moins de 10 minutes. Attention toutefois aux contrôles de police fréquents le soir. C’était exactement ce que nous cherchions : du calme, de la beauté et du confort. Malika et Anne-Sophie ont été adorables, disponibles et d’une grande aide. Tout le monde a adoré la maison ! Et que dire des petits-déjeuners servis chaque matin… un vrai luxe. Merci encore, on espère revenir très vite !

Very friendly and accommodating host, and the place was exactly the same as the photos– a few minutes walk from the beach and only seconds from one of the top 100 restaurants in Morocco! Such a great find :)

Really nice hosts, amazing location, and very cozy flat! Adding WiFi and some plastic our outdoor chairs in the terrace would make it just perfect!

The apartment was lovely and the rooftop was truly something special – the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. We’ll definitely come back to Essaouira to visit Chaima again! Communication was excellent as well – she always responded quickly and was very helpful throughout our stay.

Jean Francois Et Corinne’s place was my home for almost 2 months. It really felt like that too. There’s plenty of light in the apartment, which is not always the case in Morocco. The interior is calm and nice, and the bed was extremely good, i loved it! Everything worked very well during whole my stay and I am thankful that I had the opportunity to stay here. Thank you once again!

Séjourner chez ABDO a été un plaisir, L’emplacement était parfait, la maison était confortable et propre, et Abdo était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions il a a été très accommodant et nous a donné de bons conseils sur la région. Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet appartement. Il est propre et idéalement situé, à 3 min à pied de la plage. La chambre principale dispose d’un balcon avec une vue latérale sur la mer, ce qui était agréable. Le quartier est propre, calme et sécurisé, que des résidences privées. Même si l'appartement se trouve au 3e étage sans ascenseur, cela ne nous a pas posé de problème en tant que jeunes filles. Mais, cela pourrait être un peu moins pratique pour des personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite. Dans l’ensemble, nous sommes très satisfaites de notre expérience. L’appartement correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Il était propre, calme, et très bien situé, à deux pas de la plage. J’ai passé un excellent séjour et l’hôte est très sympathique et réactif . Je recommande vivement
