Holiday rentals in Escúzar

Nice apartment close to the beach, restaurants, taxis and busses. Exactly as described. A short bus ride or long walk to supermarkets, which we used every other day of our two week stay. Air conditioning worked great and it was nice to sit on the balcony in the morning and have coffee. The only negative thing I could say is that we only had two bath towels and one hand towel for the two of us for our entire stay so after a week I had to do a load of laundry. It took a long time to dry on the drying rack. It was easy to rent lounge chairs and an umbrella from the beach people. It was only 14 euros for the day. Tony is a great host and was always VERY responsive to our messages.

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cortes. We were lucky that we were the only ones so we had the whole venue for ourselves. The house has thick walls so that means that it is cool inside. Also it is up on a hill which makes temperature nice during hot summer days. The house is in a quite residential area nearby Padul. You definitely need a car to go around. There is a Spar supermarket nearby. Padul is a small town in the province with some shops, bars and restaurants. Nice to have your coffee there in the morning. Cortes reacts very fast and comes up with suggestions in Granada or other places. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Granada this is your place to be!

Staying at Merith and Chris’s place was truly something special. From the moment I arrived, I felt not just welcomed, but truly cared for—as if visiting old friends in a private little paradise in the mountains. Every detail of the space is infused with love and intention: the cozy casita, the breathtaking views, and the warmth of their hospitality. The privacy was incredible—I had time and space to truly disconnect and recharge. The breakfasts were a definite highlight—different each day, featuring Chris’s incredible homemade bread and Merith’s thoughtful touches. I also treated myself to dinner and a massage, both of which I highly recommend. Everything at their place reflects a sense of ease and beauty. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience of connection: with nature, with yourself, and with two genuinely wonderful humans. Thank you, Merith and Chris, for creating this space and sharing it so generously. I left feeling lighter and deeply grateful.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

Great location just a few minutes walk to the beach. The swimming pool was really well maintained and never very busy. The flat was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. Susana met us when we arrived even though we had a late night flight and went through everything in the flat, including recommendations for the local area. She was also quick to respond to any queries and arranged a taxi for us from the airport. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a lovely sea view!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in both Casa Luna and Casa Lucia, and we genuinely loved every moment in each home. Both places were beautifully set in nature, offering a sense of calm and peace that made our holiday so special. The houses were well-equipped, cozy, and full of charm. Our hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help – from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. They gave us excellent local recommendations, which made our stay even more memorable. It was a truly wonderful experience and we would love to return in the future!

Beautiful, clean, very well equipped, traditional Spanish town house. Right in the centre of Nerja, extremely close to everything.

Zusammengefasst: Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Laurent ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, aber dennoch nicht aufdringlich. Ich glaube er hat sogar unseren Pool sauber gemacht als wir nicht da waren! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt, die einzige negative Sache die mir aufgefallen ist, der Duschkopf könnte erneuert werden. An der Unterkunft und am Pool selbst hatten wir einige Mücken, hier hat aber das Mückenspray von Relec sehr gut geholfen, also solange man keine panische Angst davor hat ist es überhaupt kein Problem ;). Die Lage war der Wahnsinn, eine eunderschöne Gegen und mit dem Mietwagen waren wir in 35min in der Innenstadt von Malaga und konnten auch sonstige Ziele wie Nerja oder Ronda innerhalb einer Stunde erreichen. Wie die Anbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist, konnten wir nicht beurteilen. Ein Hinweis noch: einen Föhn konnten wir nicht finden, also falls benötigt, einfach mitbringen oder Laurent fragen. 5/5 Sterne!
