“Interesting book assortment. Spent lots of time reading The White Masai. I was impressed by the creativity and thoughtfulness put into the design of the space. Most importantly I loved the hospitality (grateful for taking the extra mile to help me through challenging times) of the hosts including the friendly atmosphere of guests. Friendly dogs!”
Owaitu is one of the numerous listings by ewaffe-experiences. “owaitu” is a Rutooro ethnic word meaning HOME. Located in the "Entebbe safe zone" just next to the UN base. This thoughtfully designed cottage has a minimalist feel to it.
“Super cozy and comfortable place. Simon was patient with us for the airport pickup—due to our flight getting 45 minutes delayed. He waited and kept in communication—! Simon introduced us to the amenities of the area and offered to take us wherever we wanted. The house is a great value for having your own entire place. You share a courtyard with Simon and his family, which i preferred— felt safe! Also, i had some trouble utilizing some of the equipment in the house and Simon went above and beyond to show me how to operate. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. Simon also dropped us off at the airport at 2am. We were super satisfied with our stay! Highly recommend this airbnb.”

“This was my second time staying at Angela’s and it was perfect! Everyone on the compound was very friendly and welcoming, yet they gave us our space. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Fast WiFi, hot water and complimentary tea put a smile on our face. The place is right next to the airport and we even walked down to the lake and had a boat ride. Thanks for hosting us!”
