Kid-friendly holiday rentals in El Faro

Shops, a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Short 5 minute walk to the seafront and a nice boardwalk to walk along to Cala de Mijas and the other way down to a nice marina with multiple bars/restaurants and beaches to stop either way. Short 20 minute walk into Cala which is a nice small town. Good bus service on the main road below the property so a car is definietly not essential. Around 30 minutes either way to Fuengarolla or Marbella. We experienced no noise from the main road when sitting outside or on an evening in bed. Quiet area as opposed to Fuengerolla or Marbella which suited. Nice clean accomodation in a nice quiet setting. The outside area is very relaxing in a beautiful private garden setting. Franck was very helpful with advice before our arrival and came to see us to make sure evertything was okay and gave helpful information on the local shops. Left us to our devices but was on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend.

Het verblijf was prachtig. Volledig omschreven zoals in de omschrijving. Wat zeer leuk was bij de late aankomst, was dat de frigo al gevuld was met wat basis dingen zoals water, melk, beleg voor de dag erachter. Dit moest helemaal niet, maar was een aangename verrassing en deed veel. De checkin checkout verliep zeer vlot. Het zwembad kon verwarmd worden, wat zeer leuk was voor de kinderen tijdens deze periode april. De keuken was zeer aangenaam om te gebruiken en het zicht op de tuin/zwembad was leuk, zodat je altijd connectie had met buiten, als je binnen eten aan het maken was. Besluit : fenomenale villa op een perfecte locatie !

El apartamento de Alicia y Alfonso es una maravilla y está a sólo unos minutos a pie de la playa. Hemos pasado 7 días perfectos en este alojamiento amplio, muy limpio, cuidadosamente decorado y con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. La terraza es muy grande con maravillosas vistas a la flora y la zona es tranquila. El aparcamiento es muy cómodo. El trato de Alicia es inmejorable y nos ha proporcionado indicaciones muy claras y recomendaciones útiles. Muchas gracias por todo Alicia!

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The host was wonderful and made me feel very welcome. The space itself was cozy, comfortable, and really well-appointed, making it a great home away from home. I truly enjoyed my time there and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. The only minor remark I have is regarding the pool area, which is shared among all guests. It could benefit from a bit more maintenance and cleaning, especially to remove bird residue and ensure it’s in top condition for everyone to enjoy. Overall, a really great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a cozy and welcoming stay!

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

So hospitable and quick to respond to our questions . House was immaculate with plenty of space and really well equipped . Great location and we were allowed an early check in and a late check out . Would definitely recommend and we will be back !

We had a very nice stay! Great house and a beautiful garden with a great view and lots of sun from morning to night.

A modern, well appointed and comfortable apartment with large balcony to relax on. Views over the resort which is a 5 minute walk away with supermarkets next door. The resort is not too large or busy so is easy to walk around with excellent choices for eating and drinking. Would recommend for couples and families alike.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable with good view of the sea . Great location for restaurants and shops . Would highly recommend .

Miguel and Paola were lovely! Meeting us on the day to set us up and show us around. They even checked in halfway through the week and it felt like they were always at the end of the phone should we need them (luckily we never did!) :)

The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean, and offers a great sea view just like in the photos. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and if you’re renting a car, there’s plenty of street parking available nearby, so parking is not an issue at all.

Had a truly amazing experience! The place was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, and all the facilities were exactly as described—if not better. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

Super fijne week gehad in het fantastische mooie ruime appartement.mooi balkon met prachtig uitzicht . Fijn zwembad met heerlijke bedjes maar tot 18.00 geopend in april . Klein strandje langs een drukke weg op 10 min loopafstand . Hebt wel zeker een auto of taxi nodig om naar een stad of winkel te gaan. Taxistandplaats overigens om de hoek maar wij maakten gebruik van onze huurauto en Uber. Natasha is super vriendelijk en reageert meteen!

Nous avons passé chez Joaquin et José Manuel un excellent séjour !…tout était au top, de la déco à la propreté, en passant évidemment par la superbe terrasse située sur le toit qui était notre endroit préféré, avec tous ses équipements ! Die besten Gastgeber! Danke für alles. Paula war super süß und hat uns empfangen und alles gezeigt . Tolle Tipps und Informationen haben sie uns vorher schon geschrieben. Die Wohnung ist TOP! Alles vorhanden, Kaffee, Tee, Strandutensilien, Honig, Pfeffer Salz usw. Duschgel Shampoo, Strandtücher und genügend Handtücher. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und können nur weiter empfehlen.

Loved our stay at Jesus’ place - it is beautifully presented and even better in person than in the pictures. Had everything we needed and appreciated the extra touches like water, crisps cans of drink etc on arrival - very thoughtful. The place is a great location - equal distance to old town and puerto banus so not too expensive by cab either way. The terrace is so gorgeous with lovely views and the pool is also lovely, clean and quiet. We will definitely be coming back.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait chez Joaquin. Dès notre arrivée, il s’est montré extrêmement accueillant, attentionné et professionnel. L’appartement est superbe, décoré avec goût et en excellent état. Rien ne manque : la cuisine est parfaitement équipée, les ustensiles sont de qualité, la literie est très confortable, les rangements bien pensés… tout est là pour se sentir comme chez soi. Mais la vraie pépite, c’est le penthouse lui-même, un lieu incroyable, lumineux, calme, avec une vue magnifique. Joaquin a été l’un des meilleurs hôtes que nous ayons rencontrés sur Airbnb : toujours disponible, réactif et d’une grande gentillesse. Un immense merci également pour avoir porté nos valises à l’arrivée un geste simple mais tellement apprécié ! C’est un sans faute. Nous reviendrons les yeux fermés. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Great apartment at a great location. The apartment was spacious, very tidy and felt very comfortable in general. The host was extremely responsive and flexible throughout our whole stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would visit it again in the future!
