We had a wonderful stay. Casa Esmeralda is beautiful home with privacy and a magnificent view. The flora and fauna make it feel paradise. The hosts: Kirsten, Dennis, Jennifer and George could not have been more attentive. It is a great to stay in an incredible setting.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce logement au sein d'une faune et d'une flore incroyables. Nous avons aussi profité d'une excursion proposée par Douglas en bateau sur les canaux avec un guide, ce tour était génial, nous avons pu observer de nombreux oiseaux et des caïmans.

An excellent stay, with clear travel instructions, and was exactly as advertised. We visited Baldi Hot Springs, and the Hanging Gardens, both top notch with a return someday soon. The views of Arenal were spectacular, and the drive lovely. The house was better than advertised. From the drive up through a beautiful, well tended garden, we could see that the design of the property was well thought out, with the living space large and comfortable, with views from the front garden, through the back windows showing off a pool with the lake beyond. Bedrooms and bathrooms were modern, clean and very well decorated. Favourite activities of swimming, kayaking, bar b que dinners and walks to appreciate the blooming flowers, and birds overhead. Very sad to leave.

Margaret's place was above and beyond beautiful inside and out. It was so serene and peaceful. A bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely touch. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We spent our mornings on the porch drinking coffee and listening/watching the birds. Margaret was quick to respond to our questions. We took a hike down to Lake Cote which was just around the corner. The location is perfect only being 15 min from town but beautifully secluded. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. We will definitely return and would encourage anyone to stay at Margaret's place!

What an enchanting place and such a wonderful experience. We truly cherished the house. Paula and David were exceptional hosts who thought of everything. Liz was excellent as a local resource and her cooking was perfect. We loved the rural setting it was great to disconnect and relax. We are so grateful for the chance to stay at such a unique and wonderful place.

Todo fue como lo esperamos, el lugar muy bonito y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos, Keilor fue muy cordial y nos ayudo con la hora de entrada y salida sin, duda volveremos pronto.

Relaxing Villa Lake Arenal - Quiet Gated Community

This house was great. The layout is a bit quirky, but it makes for great memories. The community is beautiful. Very friendly neighbors and great amenities. We appreciated being able to meet a local contact to help us find the place, as the entrance is easy to overlook. There are a lot of stairs in the house and the hills in the community are steep, just as a heads up to anyone with mobility issues. It was fine for us, but maybe not great for everyone.

5 estrellas se quedan cortas, es todo lo que buscamos para descansar, no nos alcanzo los días para hacer todo lo que esté lugar ofrece! La amabilidad de Jenny y Yendilly hacen de este lugar aún mejor!! No duden en hospedarse, no se van a arrepentir! Obvio volvemos!!
