Like; Enjoy a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo(bleus city), various open-air museums. Westerbork memory center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Tree Crown Trail, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time" . A little more away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The ideal place for relaxing and unwinding as a couple or family, for example. We have owned the chalet since 2023 and have decorated it in such a way that it is an ultimate oasis of peace for us. We therefore like to stay there ourselves, but also want to open it up to others so that more people can enjoy this beautiful place.
