Our stay at the house was very memorable and wonderful. The location is ideal, 2 minutes from the bakery, mini market and taverna - and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach was very nice, sandy and very empty (maybe because we were there in October?) The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. Airconditioning worked well (still hot in October!) and the patio was lovely, with the jasmin flowers.. The beds were very comfortable (firm!) and the internet was steady and strong (needed it as I worked a little): It was quiet and calming - lots of stray cats if you are lonely ;-) Check in was easy, Kallia met us and explained everything to us - she was also very quick to respond to any questions we had - thank you very much for this. The bakery is a gem, they had lots spinach and cheese pies, all hand made, good prices and delicious! Can highly recommend this! Thank you!

Everything was wonderful, the sea is really close to the location, the view it’s unreal and beautiful. The host was helpful all the time. If you want to take a break from your all day basics, that’s the right place. Thank you!

We had a great rooftop terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner with an amazing view. The location of the place is really good for day trips to different places like Balos Beach or just enjoy the close by beach and the nice tavern around there. We had a wonderful time at this lovely place. Thank you very much! 😊

Beautiful apartment on the bay of Kissamos, very clean and excellently furnished and equipped, with 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms (only one shower). Only the wifi is a little slow, but for Europeans it is not a problem given the free roaming up to 5 GB and the TV does not receive European channels (at least Italian ones, but who needs it at the sea?). Indoor parking. The location is secluded from the main communication roads but still easy to reach and convenient to all the beaches in the area (although far away, but so is the eastern part of Crete). We were welcomed by the owner's father who unfortunately does not speak English but was very kind and helped us with every question (the online translator helped us, since we don't speak Greek) and in any case the owner was always available with AirB&B messaging. We were very grateful for the water, grapes, oil and raki offered to us on our arrival. The terrace was a much appreciated plus that allowed us to enjoy the fantastic sunsets while sipping a glass of wine. We recommend the apartment to everyone, even couples (like us). We booked Ewa’s place for my birthday and it was simply stunning! The apartment is in a beautifully renovated and restored traditional stone house with the most breath taking view from the terrace. It matched exactly the photos and was even more beautiful! All the details and decor were really creative and done with a lot of love - it has such an amazing cozy vibe. The place was pristine clean and smelled amazing, all the linens and furniture and cutlery was super high quality and there was even some fruit and veg for us to make breakfast. The location is excellent as you are super close to all the great attractions of west Crete but elevated in a very quiet village which is peaceful and super serene. The parking was great - right outside the house and the location was easy to find. Ewa was a brilliant host, she is a very warm and friendly person and gave us some great recommendations for some questions we had. We can’t wait to book this place again and we would 100% recommend!

Very nice place, well equipped and cozy. We really appreciated the small details upon arrival, such as breakfast, fruit and beers offered: a gesture that made the welcome even more pleasant. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evening, although privacy from neighbors could be improved. Nektarios was an extremely helpful host, always attentive and ready to respond to our every request. We highly recommend it to those who want to explore the area: Elafonissi and Balos can be reached in about an hour, and the proximity to the center of Kissamos is convenient. We were also provided with a crib for our little girl, which is very useful, although the interior space was a little tight once it was fixed.

We had delayed flights and Mr. Fontas waited at the house to personally welcome us even through we arrived after 11pm. We were hungry and unsure if we’d find any restaurants open so late, but to our surprise his wife had cooked food for us ready to go when we walked through the door - bonus was she also had a delicious lemon cake baked for us with their own lemons! He also left us with his own grown olives, olive oil, and wine. We stayed a week and he’d leave us with something small to bite on every two days, whether it was a local salty breckie snack his wife made or oranges from his land. Everything was clean and organised. The pool’s amazing and it feels like your own private oasis surrounded by olive groves. The property comes fully equipped, bicycles, board games, goggles and all. You’ve been scrolling through Airbnb’s for a spot to stay and can’t decide, so let me make it extra easy - Mr. Fontas will treat you like family and communication is the best we’ve had ☺️

We had a great time! The location was great, with easy access to nearby beaches, one hour from Elafonisos beach and 30 minutes from Falassirna beach. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house was five clean, with very comfortable spaces, very comfortable and impeccably equipped. If you don't find something, look a little more and you'll find it where you need to. Nearby there are many local restaurants, with local cuisine. It's understandable that you need a car. Overall a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely, clean house with lots of space, huge balcony with a perfect view in a relaxing environment that is nothing but a vast olive grove and in the background the endless blue. You may have a problem hearing the roosters in the morning, we enjoyed it! Sure will be back!
