Fantastic cosy spot

Wonderful stay in December / January in this beautiful, spacious and well appointed property in the foothills above Falcarragh. Great place to stay to get off the beaten track and chill. Fantastic hiking out of the door and a short drive away and a great base to explore this beautiful part of Donegal. Dark skies at night too for star and northern light hazing if conditions permit Very friendly and responsive hosts - would definitely stay again

Small and cozy room but it has everything you need. the option to have some breakfast is also nice.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home in the flat. There are so many things to do in the area that we wished we had more time! Our highlight: trip to Tory Island to see the puffins. Communication with Marianne was great and we were especially happy about the very well equipped kitchen.

Shauna was a fantastic, accommodating host. She made sure we felt at home and gave us a lovely seafood restaurant recommendation. I would recommend anyone to stay with Shauna; you’ll be well looked after :~)

This was probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in! Both Gina and her husband were incredible hosts - they welcomed us upon arrival, they were extremely friendly and gave us some helpful recommendations as we didn’t know the area. I had mentioned the trip was for a birthday and Gina had hung birthday banners for us arriving, which was such a lovely touch! They also left us some fresh bread, milk, etc which we really appreciated! The bed was so comfy, the house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There are stunning views from every window, and the two balconies are beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay in this home.

We had a fantastic stay — the space felt more like a luxury hotel suite than a typical Airbnb. Stylish, spotless, and really comfortable. We only wish we’d had longer to enjoy it! We bumped into the cleaner on the way out and she was absolutely lovely — a small moment that really summed up the warmth of the place. The kitchen isn’t really set up for cooking full meals if that is what you are after, but that wasn’t an issue for us as there are loads of great places to eat nearby, many of which were kindly recommended in the welcome info. Would happily stay again!

By the C is a beautiful and absolutely spotless little hideaway beside two amazing beaches and close to all necessary amenities. We loved every minute of our stay here. Tara's taste in interiors and style is wonderful. She has the house decorated to the highest standards. We really felt like we were in 5 star accommodation. Tara was so responsive and helpful, making some fabulous recommendations for us. We enjoyed a trip to Glenveagh National Park, Mount Errigal and the petting farm. We ate in the fabulous Leo's Tavern and Mc Cafferty's. As well as swimming in the beautiful turquoise waters of An Trá Bháid, we swam in the pool at the nearby An Chúirt hotel. All on Tara's recommendations. Thank you Tara and Peter. We will definitely be back to beautiful Carrickfinn.

We stayed for 2 nights at sandpiper wing part of Sheelaghs beautiful property right on the shores of lough Swilly with wonderful views from every window Sheelagh was away but we were met by lovely Tara who answered any questions we had The property is ideal for two and although joined to the main house completely private I loved the furnishings so suited to an obviously much loved family home and it it was so nice to just sit in the peaceful surroundings even when the weather wasn’t too kind as the house was so cozy and welcoming We could have booked the hot tub in advance or used the kayak to explore the lough but instead we wondered along the loughside between the showers and it was lovely to return to the Sandpiper wing in the evening after our travels along the wild Atlantic way I would highly recommend the Sandpiper wing to anyone looking some peace at the lough edge and would hope to return again ❤️

Glenwood was an excellent holiday let the guest house was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was a bit remote for us as we didn't have a car but the taxi service was great definitely recommend.

Johns Place was lovely and it was great access to the beach and the local bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to all. Centra nearby as well as a petrol station.

Roisin was an extremely great host. She made us feel very welcome at the house and were able to have a bit of craic with her. The drinks were amazing and the house was unbelievable. Would definitely recommend this place, it’s some spot! Would love to visit again sometime!!

Wir waren 3 Nächte mit dem Motorrad da. Super Lage für unsere Touren. Parken konnten wir direkt neben der Wohnung. Alles war sehr sauber und neu, wie auf den Fotos, tolle Aussicht. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, Gewürze sind vorhanden und frische Milch haben wir bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Danke!
