Holiday rentals in Dionisos

We called this place "the mansion." The views are absolutely breathtaking and the accommodations pristine. The beautiful beach is across the street and the hotel nearby has an outside bar on that beach. We ended up renting a car because we could tell driving in Crete was easier than places like Mykonos and Athens. We ventured to a few places like Richtis Gorge and the downtown harbor; excellent shopping with some closed (no vehicles) streets. We wished we had more time here! Our host was very kind and also helpful in booking the car rental after our arrival. We highly recommend Villa Phi!! Thank you.

Iosef is a wonderful host. He made us feel welcome right from the very start. His traditional Cretan home, that he has lovingly restored is truly magical. The views overlooking Sitia are absolutely breathtaking. You are surrounded by wild flowers, olive groves and not forgetting overlooking the turquoise waters of the Agean sea. Anyone who wants to Immerse themselves in nature, Cretan culture, flower scented clean air and perfect stillness. Then Iosef's beautiful home is for you. Iosef thank you so much for your kind hospitality, we enjoyed every single moment, especially the local honey!! We will definitely be back!!

To wspaniałe miejsce! Jeśli potrzebujesz odpocząć od rzeczywistości, cieszyć się spokojem i pięknymi widokami, to miejsce dla Ciebie. W domu jest wszystko, czego potrzeba do życia, Harry zadbał o najmniejsze szczegóły! Perfekcyjnie przygotowany dom na przyjęcie gości! Nasz lot był bardzo opóźniony, byliśmy bardzo późno, ale Harry nad wszystkim czuwał i przyjechał po nas. Cudowna, spokojna, przyjazna Kreta wschodnia!

We had a perfect week, in a fabulous home. The property is very well appointed and comfortable. Everything was working perfectly, and very clean. The area is beautiful, with an amazing view from the property (you see nothing but sea and coast from the front and side), and even a nice little taverna across the road. Antonis was a great agent and the owners Irene and Alex were super helpful and responsive, they even provided us with a great list of ideas for restaurants and things to do. Will definitely return!

Traumhafter Urlaub bei Venetia und Michalis. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause und taucht völlig in die kretische Welt ein, wie ein Einheimischer. Da das Wetter perfekt war, haben wir uns überwiegend auf der schönen Terrasse unter dem Bambusdach aufgehalten. Wer die Gegend Ost-Kretas erkunden will, und vor ausgiebigen Wanderungen nicht zurückschreckt, ist hier genau richtig. Venetia und Michalis tun alles, um einen perfekten Urlaub zu gewährleisten. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und blitzsauber. Im Kühlschrank waren die leckeren Besonderheiten Kretas für uns vorbereitet: Obst, Feta, selbstgemachte Marmelade, 1 Flasche Wein und ein besonders leckerer eigens hergestellter Raki. Venetia und Michalis haben uns bezüglich der schönsten Wanderungen, Strände und der besten Tavernen super beraten. Es war ein genialer Aufenthalt. Besonders die völlige Ruhe, nicht nur in der Nacht war sehr wohltuend. Venetia und Michalis, vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit im Mandarini House

We really enjoyed our stay in Palekastro! Pro: Cozy kitchen, lovely quiet garden and terrace, super clean, walking distance to taverns and shops. Con (which we did not mind, but one should be aware of): The street in the front is quite busy and light sleepers might have trouble, there’s no “loungy” sofa/ seating area.

Andreas ha gestito tutta la nostra permanenza in modo ottimo. La casa è ordinata e con tutti i confort. La posizione ci ha permesso di conoscere una realtà cretese molto particolare che ci ha fatto viaggiare con la mente. Consigliato!

Nous avons passé un séjour magique, même s’il était bien trop court (seulement 3 jours) ! La maison est charmante, le village plein de caractère et les alentours sont magnifiques. Dès la première soirée, l’accueil a été chaleureux et très agréable — nous avons eu de beaux échanges. Les habitants sont adorables, ouverts et bienveillants. Un immense merci à nos hôtes pour leur générosité, leurs conseils, le raki, l’huile d’olive… et surtout à Nikolaos pour sa bienveillance ! Nous sommes tombés amoureux de ce lieu et c’est certain, nous reviendrons. Je vous invite vivement à réserver vous ne le regretterez pas.
