There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

Staying in this beautiful half-timbered house is always a pleasure. The house looks fantastic and is wonderfully generous. The surroundings are beautiful. Here you can stay in peace. From sunset we could watch deer daily on the other side of the emmer. Absolutely recommended!

Brigitte is a great host - everything was spotlessly clean, very well organized, stylish, modern with newly renovated bathroom. It has a magical garden that makes you feel like you've landed in an enchanted cottage garden oasis. The exchange with her was just as harmonious, beautiful and she was very helpful. The apartment is completely beautiful! Modern and high-quality furnishings and it has everything you need. Markus and his family are very nice and hospitable, so we felt completely comfortable during our short vacation in Detmold. We will be happy to come back! P.S.: The only challenge to the location is the extremely steep approach by car (steepest road Detmolds), which is certainly not for everyone (but the courage is rewarded with a fantastic view😉).

We stayed at Erika and Wolf's place for an extended weekend. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. We were positively surprised that, in addition to the basic equipment, lunch boxes, games/books or covers for the terrace chairs were also available. The accommodation is very lovingly decorated and also well suited for a longer stay. Communication with our hosts was friendly and timely. We were on site with the bikes and were able to reach sights/supermarket easily. Small tip for guests with bicycles: If this is announced in advance, it is possible to lock the bicycles. We will be happy to come back!

The accommodation was super modern and well equipped, exactly as described. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and we felt comfortable immediately. Absolutely recommended👍

Ellen's place is spacious, it was clean and the self-check-in super flexible and convenient. There is a TV in every room, on the huge TV in the living room you can watch Netflix and Amazon Prime, even if you don't have an account. The private car parking space is great. The only drawback: The wifi was pretty slow. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay.

The apartment is great, very clean and with everything you need to spend a few days. We were very comfortable and will definitely book it again when we return to Detmold. Downtown is a 5-minute walk at most, a walk that has charm

We had a great weekend in the apartment and felt right at home :) Scarlett contacted us in advance to discuss details and we were allowed to check out flexibly on the last day. The apartment is cozily furnished and is very well equipped. The Externstein, the Eggebad, supermarkets and, fortunately, the ice cream shop are within walking distance. We can only highly recommend a stay here😊

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The accommodation was nice, clean and cozy, as in the pictures. The amenities were also great, nothing was missing. We had everything we could possibly need in everyday life, and I mean everything. You can cook and bake properly, the kitchen is equipped with a mixer, bowls, baking tins, pots and much more. We were able to enjoy the great view, which looks much better in real life than in the photos. I wanted to give extra praise for the bed linen, which was simply of hotel quality. If we had any questions, Heike was immediately there for us and was always nice, friendly and helpful. If I am in the area again, I will gladly rent Heike's accommodation again.

We spend a full week at Heike’s spacious apartment. Fully equiped kitchen, good beds and shower and two balconies. What more do you want?

It is a very nice apartment where everything you need is present. Cozy and clean. Netflix on the TV that allows you to log in with your own account. And good beds. It is in the built-up area in a quiet location next to a reasonably large lake. Plenty of room to let the dog run or swim. And within walking distance of Bad Lippspringe, which you can reach via a beautiful route through the park. In Bad Lippspringe, there are a few restaurants and various shops. Beautiful hiking trails in the area. About 20 km away, you have Detmold, a very nice town with many restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back to Valentina when we come back to the area.
