Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Denmark

An all-around wonderful place to stay! We had 4 nights with 4 nights, with hyggeline oven on the terrace and fire basket in the adjacent meadow. We have recovered very well through the tranquility and the sea. Everything was very tastefully decorated. 20 minutes away is Svendborg, a cute little town, which we enjoyed once. It was just too nice in the house for more things to do. Anne and Ulrik are excellent and likeable hosts. We'd love to come back!!

Just perfect for our stay. Lots of space, warm & cosy, beautiful house, safe for our bikes and the option to purchase a few supplies from the little shop in the house.

We enjoyed the time in Thomas' Danish, remote house! The morning view of the sparkling water and the sunrise were unique. We were allowed to use everything and therefore grilled as well as used the barrel sauna outside (here, natural wood wool is recommended for lighting). We visited small places around by car (Struer, Holstebro, Lemvig, Thisted). Thomas always responded quickly and was helpful!

The house is a real gem and has absolutely earned the consistently perfect reviews. Quiet and a little off the beaten path, but by car you can reach so much in 5 to 30 minutes: good shopping, Aarhus, Mols Berge National Park, many beaches. The building is lovingly renovated, the kitchen is very well equipped and the decor is typically Danish, very "hygge". We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed the house, the garden and the green surroundings. Marlene and Mark are extremely courteous and friendly hosts, with many well-organized tips for activities and restaurants and cafes. I'm sure we'll be back.

Super cozy home and lovely large garden. Glad we had to bring a dog. Beautiful natural area nearby. The house was a little dusty, maybe it needed vacuuming before we arrived. It is difficult to get space for the rubbish in the waste bin by the road. But otherwise we have been very satisfied with the place. Highly recommend and we would love to come again.

A very nice beach house, in a quiet corner of Denmark. An ideal place to unwind and watch the sea for hours from the living room, while reading and listening to the rain pattering on the roof. Great house with a beautiful garden, in the morning a deer with a fawn visited us in the garden. Very uncomplicated hosts who provide their guests with a very nice accommodation.

We had a lovely few days at ZenHouse. The house had everything we needed, and the hot tub was fab. Enjoyed walking and running to the beach. Perfect for a few days relaxing. The hosts were quick to respond when needed.

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the peace and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. Very cozy and quiet place for quests who are looking peaceful vacation. House was big, private rooms and in the kitchen were all the things what you need to cook a nice dinner :) thank you Morten!!

Charlotte has been a very nice hostess, a cheerful person who you can ask for advice at any time. Your dog and mine got along almost immediately :) I can really recommend the house to anyone who wants to switch off. We would be happy to come back. Best regards, David and Inka

Fantastic three night stay during our cycle bikepacking odyssey. Clean and functional, we made our own dinner sourcing food from the Osterlars supermarket 2 km along the adjacent cycleway. Lots of info available of what todo, suggestions. Highly recommend

Nice and peacefull location just out of town perfect for getting some rest. the house is amazing and has everything you will need. Flemming is a wondefull host aswell!

Can totally recommend, it was a lovely stay despite bad weather :) kind hosts and very friendly pets!

We stayed with Inge last year. And it was great that's why we came back this year and he speaks for himself when I say we will come back next year.

This was a lovely little mini getaway. Lilian and Søren were really nice. Søren took us around and told us a little about the history and purpose of the place. There are horses, cows and sheep on site that you can pet if they want to. Very close to the water and lovely views.

Amazing stay in Martofte!

My boyfriend and I had a really idyllic and lovely weekend in the area. It was so relaxing to stay in the cottage and having breakfast on the balcony. HUGE recommendation from here and nice hosts :)

Peaceful cozy cabin in the Danish country side. Well equipped and perfect for relaxation. There’s a supermarket close by, the bicycles for getting around are great add on to this cabin. But you can also walk to the beach and around.

We were guests at Maria & Kasper for two weeks. It was all spotless. The kitchen is super equipped, the bed was mega comfortable and the terrace was a dream 🤍 our Bernese mountain dog had a lot of fun romping in the garden & it was one of the most relaxing holidays in Denmark for us. We were able to leave the patio door open without having to constantly look where Benno had 🐻 gone. It is very private, you can stay undisturbed on the terrace without anyone being able to watch. The whirlpool was of course also a dream. We go to this area every year and I would book the house again at any time. Maria and Kasper were incredibly great hosts, who were always available if we had any questions 🤍 we were able to recover very well & the evening walks to the beach were my personal highlight of the day every time. The beach is unique & the most beautiful pictures were taken. Thank you very much for everything 🤍

The house was very cozy and lovingly furnished. The view is a dream, the beach is right outside the door. We will be happy to come back:)
