We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverview House. The house was actually more spacious than we thought it would be from the listing, and the view of the Yellowstone is beautiful. Jolene was a great host, and was very quick to answer my questions and make sure things were safely set up for us, as we were traveling with an infant. I will definitely seek out this again if we ever head to Glendive again. Also (talking to you, fellow Western Montanans), Glendive, Makoshika State Park and Teddy Roosevelt National Park are absolutely worth traveling East for!

Relax with the family at this peaceful retreat featuring three bedrooms and one and a half baths. Two main-level bedrooms include queen beds, with one also offering a futon. The basement has an additional bedroom (no egress window) with a queen bed and half bath. The home has many updates while retaining vintage charm. Just minutes away from Makoshika State Park and the Yellowstone River, you'll have easy access to outdoor adventures. Plus, steps away a park with a splash pad and playground.

Yellowstone River Get-Away

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This home is a 100 yrs old & has been a labor of love. It has countless dents, dings, squeaks & flaws but it is cozy & so much better than a hotel room. Glendive offers dinosaur adventures, agate & arrowhead hunting, Yellowstone River & Makoshika State Park. This is not a resort property so please know renovations are still underway (hence the price discount). We hope you will come to rest, rejuvenate, slow down & enjoy the big sky!

The Winnie was a wonderful place to stop for a day on our travels back to Wisconsin. The Makoshika State Park was very cool! The space was one of the most comfortable Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at.

Roger was a very gracious and kind host. The place is nice and clean. It is “small” like in the pictures. So a single person or a couple would be maximum. But it was nice and worked out very well for me by myself.

The house is in a great location and has everything you need. I stayed for two weeks so having a washer and dryer was great. I would definitely recommend this place
