Soma Dharamkot Nature Room with kitchen and patio.

We stayed at Pranav’s place Soma during our trip to McLeodganj/Dharamkot, and it was perfect. Located right next to Eevovle Hostel, we had easy access to fresh food just a minute’s walk away. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and offered beautiful views of the mountains. Pranav was an incredibly helpful host — he arranged a taxi for visits to Naddi Point, Gallu Temple (Triund trek start), and McLeodganj Market. He also helped park our large car on the narrow roads and even drove it uphill for 500m when we were leaving — purely out of kindness. The property also had parking space, which is rare in Dharamkot. Highly recommended!

This was one of the nicer places we have stayed during our seven week trip to India. It had a working tv with streaming capabilities, a beautiful view, a soft bed, a clean bathroom and two towels. The check in was quick and simple and the hostel was well located right in dharamkot.

It was my first ever Air B&B experience and couldn't have asked for more. The stay was sooo homely that I miss it by the river especially. Loved chatting w Anand's Maa and their Cats! I mean... my only regret it why I didn't stay for longer than planned. It was a pleasant and memorable experience. Something we don't get in the city. The riversong is a beautiful melody and the riverside is a beautiful sight... it was the perfect getaway for me that I might make it a regular visiting place and next time I'm definitely exploring the cafes and the fort climb as well!

Wonderful, peaceful, clean place amidst the chaos that India can be, a haven as it were. Angela very responsive, helpful, efficient. Self catering is great, it is possible to have had too much spicy food. Close to everything, and above the winter smog. What more could you want? Oh, yes, a shower with hot hot water...

I had a great stay at Rashi and Pranav’s place. The room was exactly as advertised. It was nice and clean. The place could be a little hard to find initially if you’re not familiar with the area, but Rashi was extremely communicative and responsive, which made it easy. Rashi, Pranav and the staff were also very helpful with providing directions to get around the area. There are many cafes and places to chill within a walkable distance. The food at the hostel cafe was also really good and I loved the chill vibe with all the guests in the common area. All in all, this was a great find and I can’t wait to be back someday!

We had a wonderful stay at this property — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is easy to reach and well-connected, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. Akshita is a warm and thoughtful host who clearly puts personal care into maintaining the look and feel of the home. The interiors are tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The separate entry offers privacy, and we appreciated the dedicated parking space, which comfortably accommodated our large SUV. There are good food options available from a nearby restaurant, which we enjoyed, though having your own vehicle is recommended for convenience. A small grocery shop is also located close by for essentials. Overall, a comfortable and well-managed stay — would definitely recommend!
