How does Experience Protection Insurance work?

Experience Protection Insurance provides coverage through a policy issued by certain underwriters at Zurich Insurance plc, one of the world’s most reputable insurance providers.

Airbnb is named in the policy, in addition to Airbnb experience hosts. There’s no requirement to pay an insurance premium or deductible in order to benefit from protection under the programme.

When someone makes a claim against an experience host, a third-party claims adjuster will administer and resolve the claim in accordance with policies agreed to with Airbnb.
