Farmstay holiday rentals in Cuba

De accommodatie heeft een prachtige locatie met erg mooi uitzicht. De host is erg behulpzaam en regelt alles voor je. Ze waren erg vriendelijk en je voelt je meteen thuis. Ook de viervoetige beveiliger genaamd Rocky kwam er gezellig bij zitten. Al met al een zeer goede ervaring!

Nos quedamos en la casa de Bernardo y Belkis durante 5 días con los dos niños. Que decir ? Una amabilidad, un lugar tan bonito que podríamos pagar una fortuna que no será suficiente para agradecer esta pareja. Belkis es una dona amable,.con ojos cargados de cariño..una mamá que ve en cada niño o nina su proprio hijo o hija.. Bernardo es justo, serio, serviable. Su calma es un ejemplo de comportamiento en este mundo adonde cada minuto, cada segundo es importante. Su humildad me inspirou mucho. El lugar es el mejor lugar de hospilidad en Vinales. Vista increíble, habitación muy confortable. He hecho casi 20 casas antes de reservar. La casa de Belkis y Bernardo es la mejor. Hasta la próxima Bernardo y Belkis ;).

Wat je huurt zijn twee slaapkamers met allebei een eigen airco en een eigen badkamer. De woonkamer mag je gebruiken, de keuken blijft in gebruik van de eigenaar. De kamers zijn niet groot, wel comfortabel. Wat absoluut zalig is aan het huis is de veranda aan de voorkant, waar je in schommelstoelen kan zitten en een werkelijk schitterend uitzicht hebt over het landschap. En ook een grappig uitzicht over het dagelijkse leven van Vinales, omdat het huis aan een van de lange hoofdwegen van Vinales ligt. Helaas spreken wij helemaal geen Spaans, en Maidee helemaal geen Engels. Toch kwamen we er samen prima uit, omdat we ons allebei niet lieten tegenhouden daardoor. Maidee gaf ons een heerlijk glaasje sap bij aankomst, en handige tips over het stadje. Ze heeft een rondrit voor ons geregeld zodat we alle bezienswaardigheden rond Vinales goed konden bekijken per privé-taxi, wat echt de beste manier is om alles te bezoeken als je daar maar een dag voor hebt. We hebben in Vinales twee keer gegeten bij restaurant 3J. 3J heeft een complete en betaalbare, en vooral zeer smakelijke menukaart, een echte aanrader. Bij ons vertrek bleek ons eerder geregeld transport naar Cienfuegos helemaal niet geregeld, en daar stonden we dan met onze koffers, laat voor ons vertrek naar Cienfuegos en toch wat in paniek. En onderschat dat zeker niet: al het transport wat je niet van tevoren hebt geregeld is zeer moeilijk om ter plaatse te regelen. Internet en telefoon kan je echt vergeten; het enige wat je als buitenlander kunt doen is naar het centrum toelopen en ter plekke proberen iemand met een auto te regelen door af te dingen, en zodra men door heeft dat je een probleem hebt proberen ze elke cent eruit te slepen die erin zit. Maidee heeft toen snel transport voor ons geregeld, wat uitstekend was, en ze vond het helemaal geen probleem dat we daardoor drie uur langer bij haar bleven dan eigenlijk de bedoeling was. Maidee is een lieve en zeer capabele host, wij raden een verblijf bij haar aan iedereen aan!

Una persona muy agradable, siempre al pendiente de uno, cocina delicioso es muy entregada como persona, que dios la bendiga siempre, gracias por prestarme un celular cuando el mío no funcionó, le agradezco de corazón y es una persona que vale mucho como ser humano.

Ismary is a wonderful host. It was her son's third birthday and she invited us to his birthday party. She was very great at making recommendations and arrange transportation with us. The apartment was great and very well captain clean.

Mowgly e sua esposa foram gentis e prestativos. O local era como o anunciado, possui um bom chuveiro com agua quente e fria e apesar das quedas constantes de energia que a cidade passa, eles possuem painéis solares permitindo que haja energia para seguirmos usando ventiladores, para que haja luz e possamos usar as tomadas. Um diferencial está na vista INCRÍVEL do terraço e a escada cheia de plantas 🙂. O inglês do Mowgly é muito bom e eles farão de tudo para ajudar. Recomendo!

Nous avons été accueillis par Carlos et Amarillis, dans un lieu qui pour nous ressemble à un havre de paix. Les petits déjeuners et repas préparés par Amarillis étaient très bons et copieux. Tout était parfait, calme, et paisible ! Nous avons pu faire toutes les activités que nous souhaitions, et ce grâce à Carlos et Amarillis qui nous ont tout facilité sur place. Si nous devons revenir à Cuba, et notamment à Vinales, nous avons trouvé une très bonne adresse que nous recommandons fortement.

Aymelis is super host and make you feel very welcome to her place. She gave me advise on the activities and help me to book the tour and arrange colkectivo taxi from la Habana to Vinales her place and going to Varadero after. Make my travel very easy. Her house with back up generator. No worry without light and fan in the evening. It's very close to main street. Just walk to the restaurant. No need to take taxi. Her parents are very nice and prepare wonderful breakfast the the rooftop. So you can enjoy the view and listen the bird singing during breakfast . I will stay again when I come back.

Incredible location with amazing food. Thank you for the great family home cooked dinner. Was a good place to base while exploring Vinales. Looking forward to seeing how things go with the future renovations.

Gladys was a very kind and responsive host. She was keen to help us with any activities we wanted to do. She was also able to wash our clothes and provide breakfast for additional charge. Her dog has a good temperament. Note that there is cold water only, and the power in Viñales was off for most of our stay. It usually came on for some hours in the middle of the night. There is no WiFi but you can get a tourist sim which mostly works and bring a power bank for charge.

Elisa nous transmet son amour pour la vie et la nature, toujours de bonne humeur, aidante, généreuse, drôle et intègre, c'est très plaisant d'apprendre avec elle. Sa cuisine est délicieuse et presque tout vient de sa ferme. L'endroit est magnifique, calme, un paradis. J'y retournerai certainement! Merci Elisa!

What an absolutely gorgeous place! It was a private room with my own fridge and shower, two beds, but also the backyard was a farm which is part of unesco world heritage for the amazing beauty of the farm! Surrounded by mogotes, which are special mountains, the lush surroundings are home to the farm which stars sweet potatoes, taro, yuca, chickens, pigs and wow just stunning! The star is the worlds best tobacco and rum l! Don’t miss this absolute gem!

Un logement très bien placé, proche du centre et éloigné pour le calme et la vue! Odalys était très gentille et accueillante, ce qu’elle nous a cuisiné était excellent, je recommande sans aucun doute pour tous les séjours à Viñales !!!

We had a great stay at Casa Nenita. The pool was clean and refreshing after the daily activities. They have a bar and small restaurant which is quite usefull. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned, the only point of attention were the matrasses on some of the beds which need replacement soon. They have a electricity generator which is especially usefull in Viñales as they occasionaly deal with electricity shortages.

Our stay with Marta was amazing, she was so friendly and cooked us amazing breakfasts and dinners for a fair price. We were able to get money exchanged, get cabs called, and book activities through her. The space was very clean, we had a private bathroom, a fan, and a safe. The casa is in a nice neighborhood near the main street of Viñales. Would definitely recommend staying with Marta during your stay

Amazing stay at the best casa particulares! The host were very kind, our Spanish wasn’t very well but through translate we made it work. To explain all the different sights and activities in the area they asked their English speaking neighbour to talk to us. They really took great care of us and we feel like we were a true cubana familia! The food Mimi cooked was the best, we ate at a restaurant in town 1 time but it wasn’t nearly as good as the food at the house. The breakfast is served on the roofterrace with the most stunning view over Viñales valley mountain. We loved every part of our stay here!

I really enjoyed my stay, the welcome was very warm and throughout my stay I really enjoyed staying with this family. The house is in a perfect location and the room has a lot of privacy and a beautiful garden and roof terrace. During the day there is a lot of ambient noise, but at night it is very quiet, I slept very well. I got a lot of good tips from the family for activities and they booked a very nice horseback riding excursion for me. I was also able to rent a bike through them, it was delivered to my home and picked up at the end of my stay. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and very extensive. On my next trip to Cuba, I would definitely like to stay here again.

Edel und seine Familie sind super warmherzig und wirklich tolle Menschen. Edel hat sich schon vorab die Zeit genommen alle Fragen zu beantworten. Er hat uns am Tag der Ankunft vom Viazul abgeholt. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe der Stadt aber etwas ruhiger. Wir haben das sehr genossen. Edel hatte viele Tips und hat uns unseren Ausritt sowie unsere bikes organisiert. Wir würden Edel und seine Familie immer wieder besuchen.

Viñales foi um dos lugares mais especiais que estive em Cuba. A hospedagem de Yakelin contribuiu muito para isso. Começando com o contato com a anfitriã, que mesmo eu fazendo a reserva no mesmo dia, prontamente me confirmou em resposta. A recepção de toda a sua família foi uma experiência à parte. Parecia que chegava a um intercâmbio. Suas maravilhosas mãe e filha e demais pessoas que conheci na casa, tiveram enorme zelo durante minha estadia. A casa de Yakelin te dá a oportunidade, mesmo que em poucos metros, de uma calma caminhada no campo, vendo as lindas casas locais, e também uma vista linda das montanhas. Mesmo que ainda se consiga ver a rua de cima de sua casa, o que chamará a atenção é o silêncio, uma vista linda, e pela noite as estrelas maravilhosas, longe das luzes dos carros da avenida. Preferi fazer as demais refeições na rua, mas no café da manhã quase me arrependi depois de ver toda a variedade de uma comida bem preparada, saudável e bem apresentada. Estadia perfeita.

I spent two nice days with Yanier and Aertys. During that time, they helped me with everything, provided solutions for my problems, gave me recommendations… They offer tours around Viñales and the tour to see the sunrising, it was definitely one of the best experience that I’ve had in Cuba. I strongly recommend you to stay here and take that tour to see sunrise… Also, the dinner they prepare is not like a dinner but rather, its a feast… I didnt feel like it was an airbnb, it felt like home. Strongly recommended.
