Fantastic house immersed in a beautiful neighborhood, that of Gávea. A 30-minute walk from the beach but also very close to the Atlantic Forest. The host family is as nice as they are kind, I met James (the owner's son) who took care of the check in. A wonderful guy, very kind and always available to help me with any questions during the stay. Mrs. Luciana is equally kind and sweet, very attentive to guests. I will definitely be back!!! A stay that I recommend to everyone

It was a fantastic stay. The house is beautiful, the stunning view, Marjon, her husband, the kittens and the dogs were like our family. Only the sound of the wind, the trees, the birds. Great hosts! The place was exactly as described. The location is just a few minutes walk to Arcos do Lapa, some grocery stores and a few amazing restaurants. And there were Monkeys in the garden! Eduardo was a great host from the beginning. He gave excellent recommendations and made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay,super well located and super clean. Caroline is super helpful,we were super well received, well located location has everything close by (banks,supermarkets, bakery, large shopping mall 5 minutes away and fast food, subway station a few blocks away that leads to the beach and the city center)without difficulty for locomotion. The house is perfect according to the listing everything well planned and cozy. The place is quite quiet and quite safe. When I needed information, Caroline helped me with everything. Caroline is an excellent host note 1000, I highly recommend it. Me and my wife will come back more often. #amamosaTijuca❤❤

The loft is exactly as described and as in the photos. Even better, actually. Monica and Henrique take care of every detail, make everything important available and is super considerate. You can feel the care in the details. They had fruits,snacks, and a delicious cake waiting for us upon arrival! The location is excellent, close to everything: beach, pharmacy, bakery, market. I will come back many times!

The Airbnb is beautiful, and the view of Rio is priceless. The common areas are always well maintained, and walking around Santa Teresa is both easy and enjoyable. Elisa and her family were very kind throughout my stay, and communication was always clear. For longer stays, especially if you plan to cook, dishes can sometimes pile up in the kitchen, but I believe this depends more on the guests at the time. The most challenging part was finding an Uber to get in and out of Santa Teresa at night. However, it became much easier once I downloaded the 99 Pop app and used the motorcycle or taxi option—services appeared much faster that way.

Patricia is a wonderful person, and has served us with all love and caring. Sergio Pererê loved the stay, and said the reception was fantastic. Will return shortly. And every time when you return, you already have a place to stay.

The recommended place if you are needing to put your mind in place and leave the soul in peace. An extremely cozy house with nature, brightness and corner of the birds. A great neighborhood, amazing architecture that makes you feel at home even without ever having stepped on it before. The captivating, communicative, kind and helpful hostess makes the experience at last, perfect. I will definitely return other times and with new people so that everyone can have the possibility to enjoy this house.

Maria was extremely hospitable! Always a lot of requests and cordial, always responding quickly to our requests, gave us tips of places around the neighborhood. I will definitely stay with her more often!

Nicolas is very attentive and kind! He gave us several tips about the surroundings and was very helpful. The atmosphere is like the pictures. Our only reservation is regarding the stairs to access the apartment. A person with a mobility problem would never be able to get there. But otherwise, the space is great, clean, organized, and Nicolas is a sweetheart!

Marcelo and Isabel Very welcoming and kind. Speak French very well which is a big plus for us who don't speak Portuguese. The house is beautiful, a haven of peace. Our place was clean when we arrived, access by elevator and shower with a view of the sky, it was great. The pool is a meeting place with the owners and the other occupants, all very friendly. Very convenient Uber when you don't want to walk up from the Gloria metro. Access to all the tourist places of Rio, very good location of the accommodation. The house is very beautiful, quiet and pleasant. It was very easy to find, and with many good things nearby: restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and markets. Close to the lagoon and a few minutes from the beach. Patrícia welcomed us very well, and the icing on the cake was the super cute puppy of the house that came to play every morning. I highly recommend it and I certainly think about coming back! Thank you for everything!

Wonderful stay, very nice host, charismatic, a lovely person (Dona Nilda) I absolutely recommend the place, first world treatment, I loved the cozy place, everything perfect. (The only complaint is that the TV in the room wasn't working in the option we wanted, but nothing has changed about it, however it is something to improve)

I felt very comfortable in the apartment and had a wonderful time there. The atmosphere is pleasantly familial, the neighborhood friendly, and the location simply ideal. The apartment is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Botafogo, yet only a 15-minute walk from the subway, perfect for exploring Rio from there. The area is also very safe, and I felt completely at ease walking outside alone at night. Marcia and Luiz are incredibly warm and always willing to help. The check-in process was smooth, and they were very flexible with the timing. The apartment is fully equipped, so I was able to prepare more elaborate meals over the holidays, when many of the restaurants were closed. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I hope to return someday!

Maria’s place was exactly what we needed during our 10 day stay in Brazil. It was close to all the nearby beaches and tours we did during our time there. Maria let us check in once we got there which was amazing, we had the opportunity to settle in and enjoy rio the same day we got there. The apartment was perfect for us 3 and even accommodated 2 more people! I definitely recommend Maria’s place if you ever come to Brazil!
