Good Life Cottage

Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

Located on Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm, home to the only Glassblowing Hot Shop in Mississippi. Featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”, we welcome fans of the show. The house is 2,600sqft. New granite countertops and Wifi. We have 28 goats & 19 baby goats. Kidding season is Feb-Mar. Tree Farm is busy from Nov 15- Dec 15. The GlassBlowing studio is seasonal and stays busy Feb-April & Oct-Dec. We also have a nice Gallery. Thomley Farmers Market is the Last Saturday of the month 10am-2pm from April-August

From the pond where you can fish off the pier, to sitting around the firepit to the cozy inside you can't go wrong with this place. Great front porch with rocking chairs where you can sit and admire the beautiful scenery or sit on the screened in porch and play games with the family.
