From arrival, it was clear that this place was something special. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and offered plenty of space for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Every detail, from the amenities to the layout, was thoughtfully curated to enhance the experience. One of the standout touches was the warm and attentive service—we had someone assisting with cooking, which added an unexpected but wonderful layer of hospitality to our stay. Time seemed to pass far too quickly, and leaving was bittersweet. The experience was truly seamless, and this is the kind of place we would absolutely return to again. salento es el mejor Pueblo para visitar en el eje cafetero y sin duda la casa de ángela fué nuestra mejor estadía de nuestro viaje, el lugar es muy tranquilo y privado, bien hubicado y de fácil acceso al valle de cocora, lo mejor fué disfrutar del jacuzzi después de una larga caminata y conectar con el ambiente natural que se observa desde el balcón de las habitaciones.

The house is a dream; it looks exactly like in the photos. The property is quite large, with coconut and mango trees all around. It's very quiet and private, with only the sounds of nature and many birds. Lesly, who takes care of cooking and cleaning, is wonderful. She is very kind and prepares delicious meals. Upon arriving, we coordinated the menus with her, and then we went to town for grocery shopping (only 10 minutes away). Victoria is a wonderful host; she considers all the details you need to feel comfortable, and every day she checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you Victoria!

El lugar es muy agradable, las habitaciones muy cómodas y la vista muy linda. Pedro siempre estuvo muy pendiente de las dudas que teníamos y Alex y Lucero se portaron de maravilla, uno de los días estuvo bastante lluvioso y el jacuzzi salvo el día para estar fuera un rato. Hay un par de baños sin ducha caliente pero lo logramos manejar sin problema (algo difícil de convencer un niño pequeño que se debe bañar con agua fría en un día lluvioso después de salir de un jacuzzi jejeje).

5 stars – A peaceful paradise Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views, lush greenery, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that instantly makes you exhale and relax. Incredibly grateful for the warm and helpful support from Mariana and Liliana. Mariana greeted us with a smile and helped keep the pool sparkling and inviting throughout our stay. Liliana was amazing—her help with the food and keeping everything tidy made our experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. Their presence made us feel truly cared for. The house itself is stunning and majestic—spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with nature. Every detail invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Loved the mornings, sipping coffee while the kids played in the pool, and the gorgeous sunsets reflected off the water in the evenings-pure magic! You can really feel the love and care put into this home.

Nuestra experiencia fue increíble. Desde el inicio, la atención de Camilo fue excelente: siempre estuvo muy pendiente de todo lo que necesitáramos. Tuvimos un tema con el asador, pero se solucionó de inmediato gracias a su disposición y rapidez. La casa estaba impecable, muy limpia y organizada. Vale totalmente la pena hospedarse allí. Volvería 100% sin pensarlo. Excelente lugar y una hospitalidad aún mejor.

Espectacular la estadía en Casa Testaruda. Anfitrión inigualable. La casa es hermosa y está en una zona muy central para pasear por el eje Cafetero. El chef y las atenciones de las personas encargadas de la casa son espectaculares. Muy recomendado

We enjoyed the beautiful property. Angel was so very attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had a great family vacation. The help in the kitchen also very much appreciated. We made some great memories as a family. We were in Jerico retracing our mom’s early life and we felt a great connection to our families roots here.

La Argelia is an extremely unique, Colombian experience somewhere between a hotel and an Airbnb. The house and property is beautiful, historic, comfortable and relaxing. But what really sets it apart is the incredible food and staff that make the experience so lovely. The house comes with staff that cleans daily and cooks an incredible breakfast all included in the price. For a small additional fee you can also get lunch and dinner which were fantastic, healthy home cooked meals made with local ingredients - couldn’t have been better! It allowed us to have the comforts of a home with access to a kitchen, without having to do the work of shopping and cooking. Finally, the family of hosts is absolutely wonderful and so hospitable, helping to provide suggestions and coordinate anything we needed help with. As with anywhere tropical in Colombia, be prepared for rain and mosquitos. Recommended!

Diego fue muy atento, atendió todas nuestras necesidades muy amablemente. Tuvimos unos inconvenientes al llegar pero Diego pudo resolverlos. Sin duda volvemos el año siguiente. Excelente lugar, hermosa vista, sin duda lo recomiendo.

This is an amazing house with the most gorgeous view. There are lots of birds around. Tatiana, who cleans and helps in the kitchen is absolutely wonderful. Pilar, the host was always helpful and proactive with tips.

Encontramos lo que buscábamos. Tranquilidad y comodidad. La persona responsable de la logística permitió que todo marchara a la perfección. Quizás puedan mejorar las barreras para los mosquitos, dado que alguna ya está deteriorada. Hace bastante calor en las tardes, sería deseable contar con dispositivos que mejoraran este aspecto.

totalmente recomendado , muy lindo el sitio ,habitaciones cómodas ,piscina limpia con jacuzzi y con iluminación nocturna muy agradable,tiene lo necesario para cocinar y que cada habitación tenga su baño privado es demasiado bueno . la comunicación con el anfitrión muy buena y siempre dispuesto a dar solución a los pequeños detalles que íbamos necesitando .
