Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clapton Pond

We (4 adults and 5 children) spent our school holidays in London, staying in this house. It has a large and well-equipped kitchen-dining-living room, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, one separate toilet, and a small garden with a barbecue and a place for sitting together. So everyone in the team found a place to relax and spend time together after long walks in the city. There are a lot of books in the house, which made some of our book lovers very happy. Bus stops are 4-7 minutes walk away, which take you to the tube or even the city center. The Tesco grocery store is also within walking distance. The surroundings of the house are very quiet, and we could sleep peacefully without street noise. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation, just like at home. Overall, we are very happy with the holiday we spent and would gladly return to this house again. Special thanks to the owner of the house, Sarah, who was very supportive and very quickly responded to all our questions.

One of the best AirBnB in years. An amazing house, clean, good public transport connection, super well equipped, great places in the vicinity, all you need for a great stay in London with a larger group! This will definitely be on my "come back to" list. Thanks Annie for being a great host!

Lovely! Great little east London neighborhood surrounded by parks and very community feel but not far from the action either — the actual house was perfectly arty and sweet. Great book collection and instruments for music lovers & the garden was absolutely a paradise!! Hosts were communicative and helpful when things came up and the space was clearly loved and cared for. The grocery pick up was also great. 10/10 this place felt like home and a refuge in the London bustle! Thank you!!

Wonderful stay in Sarah's place. The neighborhood is calm but you can find everything you may possibly need (grocery stores, convenience stores, bars, restaurants). We felt the place like our own home. Lots of personality and good vibes! It's a little bit far away from downtown London, but obviously we knew it, no surprises here. Still, there are plenty of options to get there (2-3 different lines of bus, overground, underground, combinations....). Never felt this was an issue. Sarah was extremely reactive and answered our questions quickly and precisely. Bottom line: great place, great hosts, great time!

Faraan was friendly and accommodating. The flat was exactly as advertised, and was very clean. Would stay here again.

Great location. Lots of great pubs, parks, markets and landmarks nearby. Hackney has a great community vibe. Tesco is a 1 min walk. Hackney Central is 2 mins away. 2 stops to Highbury & Islington / Vic line.

Grants flat was perfect for our stay in london. cosy, very clean and in a excellent location. lots of lovely food spots near by for brunch and dinner. Grant was also very helpful in showing us how to check in/out and what facilities the flat offered with some handy videos sent to us prior to our stay. would recommend staying here, we had a lovely time.

Great space and very cozy, lots of plants and had really fresh air quality. Ozgul was great and instructions were easy for getting in. Would stay again.

Très bon séjour dans le logement proposé par Alistair Le cartier est calme avec un petit jardin ou nous avons pu apercevoir tous les jours des écureuils et même un renard. Malgré le petit air champêtre l'accès à Londre est très facile en train et métro. Alistair à été très réactif et amical dans les échanges avant et au décours du séjour. Merci beaucoup

This was a great 2-week stay. The apartment has everything, including a desk where I could write, a real kitchen, and lots of plants. The back yard is private and charming. I slept well, wasn't bothered by neighbors, and got to know Hackney. Alice communicates promptly and thinks ahead.

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Izzy’s flat was perfect for our long weekend stay in the Hackney/Clapton area. Very centrally located and walkable, and a beautiful, clean, quiet, and charming accommodation. Izzy was a great host with clear and timely communication. Would recommend!

Anna’s place was nice & tidy with a spacious kitchen & bathroom. The location was great, right near both train & bus. There was also a convenience store right across the street. She was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Jenni’s apartment was all I needed to spend the Christmas. Beautifully decorated, peaceful flat with a lovely atmosphere. Jenni has a great taste in arts and design and put her personal touch everywhere you look. Staying at her flat was like staying at a five star luxury hotel. The flat was very clean and was provided with many amenities, more than I needed. She was very responsive throughout my stay and responded my texts in less than a minute whenever I needed to double check things. I stayed for five nights and would definitely recommend her place for short or longer visits.

lovely apartment in Hackney/Homerton, close to the overground and a number of stores/pubs/ restaurants etc. the apartment is very nice and stilishly decorated and has accomodated well our party of four (two adults and two boys). Esther was always very nice and warm in all her communications. would definitely return!

Lovely spacious, light and airy studio with well equipped kitchen. Unique architecture. It feels very private once inside and isn't overlooked. It is walkable to the Overground (Weaver Line) and rapid links into central London on the Elizabeth Line. Canal and Hackney Marshes are nearby. Melanie was very quick getting back to us when we had a query.
