Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chíllar

We had a great family holiday at villa mariposa, it is so spacious both inside and out. The beds are comfortable and the master bedroom is huge! There are so many different areas outside with the lovely garden for ball games, the pool area which is bigger and much nicer than the photos suggest and various patio areas for eating and chilling. Burriana beach is about a 20 minute walk away which is pleasant enough although longer coming back on account of the hill! Nerja itself is about a 40 minute walk although there are buses and taxis which are reasonable. I would be very happy to return to Alvaro’s villa.

Loved the house it was right in the heart of the historic part of town. It was central to everything. Despite being central it felt very private and was quiet at night. Amazing views from the roof terrace. Lots of steps up to the house, as it needed to be high to have such wonderful vistas.

Great stay in a lovely house , brilliant location in the centre of Frigiliana with short distance to shops, restaurants and bus stop. This was our second stay there. Antonio is a good host and the house has a lovely view over the Botancical garden with a view of the sea at Nerja to the left. Air conditioning in the bedroom was much appreciated in the heatwave. We didn't have a car but caught the Frigiliana bus down to Nerja and also went to Torrox for lunch and the beach. Had some lovely meals in Frigiliana. La Taperia on the left of the church, The Garden Restaurant, Restaurante Bar Virtudes which is halfway up the hill on the bus on the right with lovely views down the valley to the sea at Nerja. Also ate for the first time at Bar la Alegría del Barrio twice which is down the hill past the church. Ordered paella the day before and there was so much we couldn't eat it all. For people who love walking there is the ravine down the hill behind the chemist but very steep.

Armelle’s place was just as described and had everything you needed. The many stairs and levels merely added to its charm. Spent several evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine and watched the sun fade away. While the village can be busy during the day it soon quietens down towards evening as the day trippers and tours depart, then you feel like a local. There are enough shops to provide all your groceries, the good people of Frigiliana always willing to assist if needed. We look forward to returning one day.

The place was amazing! Great location, close to everything and super clean! Javier was an outstanding host, super friendly, helpful and went above and beyond all our expectations! Most definitely one of the best places we stayed in...Hope to go back one day!

A truly spectacular accommodation, with lots of space and amazing views. There was everything there for a very comfortable stay, including the beds and kitchen equipment . We really did have a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Thankyou!

Great place to stay! Amazing view! We enjoyed it. If you have a toddler it doesn’t fit for the family of 2 adults and a child because there is not enough place inside. There are not enough cuttlers in the kitchen. There are many insects outside the house.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really spacious with great outdoor spaces. It was very safe for our two young children as it was secured with a gate. There was plenty of space for our stroller, paddling pool etc. The location was really central. A 10/15 walk to Burriana Beach in one direction and the old town and Balcon in the other(although uphill on the way home from the beach). Anthony was very responsive and answered all our questions. He even left milk in the house for us when we arrived as I had mentioned we would need it for the baby. There was a national power outage when we were there and Penny called over to check we were OK and to give us candles and a torch. Our only comment is perhaps to have additionally cutlery and some big serving bowls. But it had everything else we needed for our 3 week stay and was clean and comfortable.

Karåla’s wonderful apartment is situated in a picturesque and very quiet residential area close to Nerja. The apartment is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and beautifully designed. The nearby pool and eateries are a real bonus. The bus service connecting to Nerja is fast and easy. Karåla was the perfect host before, during and after our stay, with prompt, friendly and helpful communication throughout. We had a wonderful time and very highly recommend Karåla’s apartment.

We loved our stay in Frigliana! Hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to get information on a local attraction that we were interested in. The suite is beautiful (the pictures don’t do it justice!), very centrally located only steps away from everything, and very quiet. We were greeted personally and had fresh oranges, lemons and avocados in the Sutton our arrival. Nothing could have been improved.

It's a cozy place! Perfect for getting to know Frigiliana! Cristina made us feel welcome from the first moment, very kind and attentive! The terrace is a spectacular spot in Cristina's apartment.

We enjoyed the time at Nila very much. The location away from the village was perfect for us, absolute peace, a fantastic view, a great garden with many seating options and parasols and a beautiful pool. The apartment was very well equipped with a great kitchen and comfortable couch. Nila and Manuel were very nice hosts. We will be happy to come back!

We spent a week in this beautiful apartment with the beautiful view of the sea. Directly on the same floor, you could get to the pool in just a few steps. The pool was open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We really enjoyed being here. Bravo!

I had an incredible experience staying at Terremolions, and I can't say enough good things about Sonia, our host. From the moment we arrived, her warm welcome made us feel right at home. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views right over the sea. It's the perfect spot for those seeking tranquility and privacy. The property is not only easily accessible but also impeccably clean and comfortable, allowing us to truly relax and unwind. Sonia was proactive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had. Her respectful and flexible nature made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic host!

We had a fantastic time at Roland’s apartment. The place had everything we needed, and the view was top class—it made staying in such a pleasure. The apartment gets plenty of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The area is very quiet, and the neighborhood is clean, safe, and pretty. We slept wonderfully on the comfortable beds. The proximity to the natural park with its hiking trails was a real treat, and the many steps in the area certainly help to keep you fit! Although we had a rental car, we found the local bus very handy. Since it was winter, the local shop was closed, and only one restaurant, Eat Italy, was open nearby (which we enjoyed). We often cooked at home, and our 16-month-old loved safely roaming on the balcony. Having hot cacao on the roof terrace at sunrise and a beer or wine at sunset was magical. Thank you, Roland, for sharing this beautiful space—it truly felt like a home away from home.

What a fantastic apartment! We had a superb holiday and Ronnay was the most pro-active host with lots of really helpful text messages ahead of our arrival that made gettine to the front door realyy easy. The appartment is lovely and really quite peacful due to it's location. Sunrise is a joy in this apartment and the view and the balcony area are brilliant. We will 100% be coming back to Ronnay's apartment on our next holiday to Torremolinos. We had a lucky chance to be able to meet Ronnay and his parner while we were there and what fabulous hosts they are in person too. TOP MARKS go to this apartment !

Excellent apartment in a fantastic location. Very close to the marina, beach, restaurants and shops, right on the beachfront. Apartment is ideal for a couple, good size, with all one needs for a stay of a few days or a week or two. Check-in with hotel reception was quick and effortless. We easily found a place in the hotel car park which was a plus. The view from the balcony of the apartment was stunning and the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine. Unwinding by the hotel pool to top up your tan was a great experience, many hotels we have stayed at in the past did not have an ample amount of sun loungers, not here, there are plenty and there is no need to dash down to the pool at 7am to place your towel on one. ;) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jimmy & Nadine's apartment and the best compliment we can give is - we would not hesitate to stay there again, only for longer next time. Communication was quick and on point. Thanks!

The apartment - a very spacious and well presented space. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and had perfect black out shutters allowing a great nights sleep. The kitchen and dining area was immaculately presented, everything you could need for a stay. The building - unbelievable sliding doors/windows surround the apartment offering the most amazing views of the beach and sea. The breeze this offers is great and you can also take in the atmosphere from the beach. The second floor views make you feel like you are in a penthouse due to the cliff edge you are on. The private lift down to the beach is a really nice option and add to the charm of the hotel. Also the poolside bar/restaurant and 24 hour reception is a nice addition, with all staff being very welcoming and friendly. The host - Katrien could not have been more helpful and available. We had no issues with our stay whatsoever and would stay again certainly. 10/10

We had a wonderful time at Sandra’s place. The garden is lovely, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Very well equipped. Sandra gave us lots of great tips on places to visit and restaurants. I highly recommend it! 🥰

The photos don't do the view justice, it's spectacular! We enjoyed walking down to the beach, taking in the views from the terrace and even just hanging out in the condo during a rainy day. We ate at a couple of the walking distance restaurants and also cooked in the condo several days. This home is a good base for exploring the area. Everything was clean, kitchen well supplied and beds were comfortable. We did experience some water seeping in under the glass doors during a heavy rain but Karl assured us the problem would be taken care of. Overall, I would stay here again!
