Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chevreuse

What a beautiful house in the country! Plenty of space, gorgeous backyard with lots to do & a convenient patio for dining al fresco. Nicholas was super helpful, responsive & a valuable resource. 15 min from Versailles & a quiant little village with friendly people, a beautiful church, and all the necessary shops within walking distance. Lots of hills in town & lots of stairs in the house so if you have health restrictions, 4 floors of living space & outside stairs might be challenging. If not, go for it. It's an absolute paradise in the country, perfect for relaxing, for hosting and for exploring a more leisurely pace of life. Thank you so very much, Nicholas, for letting us stay at your beautiful place. We absolutely loved it!!!

We had a wonderful time in Richard’s beautiful house - everyone loved the stay so much, including the kids! The house is absolutely perfect, especially for a large group who wants to spend time together but still enjoy the peaceful and quiet surroundings. Thierry has created a unique experience for guests that is sure to leave a lasting memory. The house has a depth of character and charm that will exceed your imagination, the vast quantity of books and objects is enough to satisfy a weeks worth of housebound curiosity... and we haven't even mentioned the garden yet. Sprawling and wild yet intimate and private all at the same time, this series of garden 'rooms' and pools feature frogs, fish, and beautiful water lilies to rival Monets own. We found our new home rustic, rambling and utterly charming. The location is superb, a short stroll to the charming shops, galleries and attractions. The beds were warm and comfortable and the private garden setting ensured a quiet, restful nights sleep. Thierry himself however was the greatest treasure; we simply could not have felt more welcome. His care and attention surpassed any host experience any of us have enjoyed before and we cannot recommend this stay highly enough.

Our family came to enjoy Monet’s gardens, but our stay at this home was the highlight of our visit. Pristine morning views overlooking the Seine River with the sounds of birds and the hourly church bells was simply magical. Would come back in a heartbeat! Host was responsive and welcoming in every possible way!

Overall a wonderful place to stay, especially for two couples/four travelers. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. Everything you need is supplied in the kitchen- a couple of groceries stores close by. Really enjoyed hanging out in the living room during down time. If you need to do any work, the wifi is good. Big dining table if needed. Lots of cafe/ restaurant options within just a few blocks, many of which are ethnic. Note that if you leave really early morning (or get home late evening) the Passage gate is locked. To leave the flat, you will have to take the elevator to the second floor and then take the stairs down to the green door exit. The person who checks you in will explain how all the entryways work. No big complaints, but if you’re used to heftier pillows, that’s not always the case in Paris. Hotel prior to Airbnb also had thin pillows. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly!

It's so tempting to not give this place the review it deserves because I want it to be available for all my future visits to Paris, but Anne & Jean-Luc absolutely deserve all the accolades. This apartment is the quintessential Parisienne apartment you always imagined living it. Tucked away and quite but convenient to everything you want to see. Well appointed including decor imbued with family and building history but without feeling fragile or cluttered. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating. She offered luggage storage and provided her own family items to make sure my toddler felt at home. We truly felt at home, and my group regularly proclaimed it our favorite AirBNB we'd ever stayed at--we're already looking forward to future stays here. Thank you, Anne & Jean-Luc for the magical experience.

Many thanks to Olivier! His place was just as described and in a great neighborhood. Two doors one way fantastic boulangerie; two doors the other way amazing gelato; and several great restaurants in between. Easy walk to two metro stations to get almost anywhere we wanted to go. Merci beaucoup!

Beautiful old Parisian style apartment and special view! This was one of the most beautiful Airbnb I ever did. Romantic and walkable. 2 mins from the Sacré Coeur Cathedral. You won't be disappointed. The area is quiet and close to metro as well. I love it!

I can not say enough about this place! The apartment was beautiful, excellent location with public transportation literally a few steps from the apartment. Sylvia and her husband were awesome from restaurant recommendations to supplying us with a loaded metro card. I plan to stay here again when I visit in a few months.

Absolutely amaaazing! Alexis was incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had and personally welcomed us when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in the perfect location. I’m usually a little hesitant to choose an Airbnb over a hotel, but this stay completely exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely weekend here! Buket was very communicative, and the house instructions were very clear The house is beautiful and fairly private. It truly felt like a little oasis.

Great place to stay for access to the forest. Easy to find and check in was easy. Host was very quick to respond to queries and was very helpful. Unfortunately we arrived before the pool was open but we would have used it if we could and it were a bit warmer. Rooms were clean and a good size. Kitchen is a little small but we managed to cook for us all okay. Regret not using the sauna but amazing that it were there.

A bright spacious place to stay as a jade with a private garden, an island of tranquility, really 25 minutes from the heart of Paris. We spent 6 nights in the house with my retired parents and my 4 year old toddler. The hospitality and helpfulness of his family brought a smile to our face, we met at any time during the stay. The 3 bedrooms are more than enough, the kitchen is well equipped, the salt and pepper spices. The baths are clean, the bigger one is extremely spacious, the tub is almost a pool for the toddler. The mattress is very soft with more tests. The breakfast is 5 minutes away from the accommodation (Boulangerie, Patisserie, supermarket and the farmer's market on Thursday). Parkolas on the adjacent street is free. The host's dog is friendly, sometimes it passes through the fenced garden, but it didn't bother us, the child loved the dog very much. TV, Netflix, YouTube, the couch is a toddler's favorite. I recommend it to those who like peace and quiet. I couldn't bring any specifics. We're back!

Had a wonderful stay at Kapla House. Very nice house, very well designed and furnished, in a beautiful green setting. Our hosts were very welcoming, gave us a lot of good recommendations and made our stay easy and very enjoyable. Total disconnection 30 minutes by train from Gare de Lyon.

Beautiful house in which 3 generations have spent excellent moments. The setting is peaceful, beautiful and magical (better than in the photos). The house is very comfortable, very well-equipped and very clean. We'll be happy to go back. Thank you Esther and Daniel.

We had a wonderful family weekend at Gregory's beautiful home. Everything comes together for an unforgettable moment, it feels great, great spaces and great hospitality from Gregory 👍as well as very available if we had any questions. The added bonus is that we were able to stay on Sunday until evening with an extra charge it was super nice, we were able to barbecue and fully enjoy the huge garden and its heated pool I recommend this house blindly for a family stay, crazy memories guaranteed
