Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cherbourg-Octeville

This beautiful house is highly recommended. First of all, due to the beautiful location with beautiful views on two floors (living room and bedroom) that you can't get enough of. But especially because of the peace and quiet, while all the comforts such as supermarkets and restaurants are a 5-minute drive away. However, the most important thing was the hospitality: Anne-Francoise and Adeline made for an unforgettable experience! Ps note: there is no television. The internet is also not really fast. For us, no problem at all.

The gite is in a beautiful remote setting. The house is spotlessly clean. It has been renovated and decorated beautifully and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It is possible to walk to Quettehou, the nearest town. There is a supermarket just outside Quettehou, just a five minute drive away. There are nice restaurants in Saint Vaast la Hougue and in Barfleur, a short drive away. Would recommend tor a quiet relaxed getaway.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

Idyllic setting, 🤩a more than relaxing stay. It's green, it's calm, it's the perfect place to disconnect... It's a treat to cycle along these little country roads. Accommodation as described, perfectly equipped and impeccably clean. Recommended 👍

Our stay at Max's was a real pleasure. The location was ideal, the house comfortable and impeccable, and the garden simply perfect. Max was always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend it for a peaceful stay!

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

We had a very pleasant stay. The reception was good with clear explanations. There was even a wonderful fire burning in the stove. Maxime, the host, is very friendly and easy to reach. The house has a nice and large terrace. The nearby garden is really very beautiful. Everything is available in the house to prepare fine meals. The location is very quiet near a beautiful beach which was also very quiet. You can walk well in the area and we have had a wonderful time cycling there. Certainly subject to repetition.

Everything went very well as usual when we come to Carteret, which we love for its calm and the beauty of its landscapes. We really enjoyed the apartment, very nice, convenient, nicely furnished and decorated. 2 steps from the dunes and close to the beaches, it is a small peaceful cocoon conducive to disconnection. As per the photos and descriptions, we can only be satisfied with our stay. Barfleur is a pretty little port. Beautiful hikes to do nearby. Above all, thank you to Didier for his welcome and for his welcome gestures: hot coffee on arrival, an excellent bottle of cider and a bag of cookies. Here's a host and a place to recommend. J-L

Very comfortable accommodation with stunning views of the port. Very bright and pleasant, and close to shops and restaurants. David was impeccably available and responsive. We had a great time with the family, and recommend this listing and its host without reservation!

Accommodation faithful to the listing with all the useful equipment for our stay. Only 15 minutes from St Helier and close to the zoo. I recommend this accommodation without any problems.

A beautiful house with stunning sea views, surrounded by greenery and flowers.

Responsive and friendly host. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and well-located in relation to the sea. The house is suitable for a family with 1 or 2 children (even with 1 baby). Also suitable for dogs where we could let our female dog roam in the large fenced garden. Looking forward to coming back for the beautiful days and enjoying the garden. We recommend this listing and its host 100%!

A great stay by the sea. Morgane's place is perfect! It's beautiful, clean, convenient, good location and more. The interior is very well designed, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly possibly need is available. The garden is beautiful, well exposed and above all well fenced (ideal with our dog). The hot tub is the plus we would not have thought about but which we enjoyed with pleasure. The beach is very close, the town is pretty and quiet and Morgane has a good suggestion if you are looking for activities nearby. We really had a great week, thank you again to our hosts for their great place and their responsiveness in answering our questions. I would recommend it in a second!

Great accommodation, pleasant, beautiful terrace, very functional house. There were six of us and we had a great weekend. Thank you to Stephanie for her hospitality and the house is super well located at 2, rue de la mer. There were no surprises. The photos match the house well and if I go back there, I will try to get the same house again, I recommend it.

we had a very good weekend with the family for my husband's 60th birthday. Beautiful house with a very large veranda, very pleasant. The proximity to the port and shops of Barfleur is a plus. Quiet and peaceful village, I recommend it.
