Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Charleville-Mézières

We had a pleasant stay. The setting is quiet, in the house there are activities, billiards, foosball, ping pong was very popular. There is nothing missing, there is plenty of space. Definitely recommend!!

What a beautiful house, and equipped with every comfort. A well-equipped kitchen, multiple toilets and bathrooms, beautiful bedrooms. The house was very tidy and clean on arrival, but warm and stylish, so we felt immediately at home and at ease. Within walking distance of the restaurants of Bouillon, in the old part, but at the same time quietly located and parking in front of the door. I can't help but highly recommend Sophie's house.

Listing that matches the description, the interior spaces are really large. Patricia and Pascal welcomed us warmly. We were 2 couples with 2 small children, the baby and child equipment was really complete and at the top, a real plus for people who want to stay there with family. Nothing to say everything was perfect, we recommend it without hesitation:-)

We have already been there for the second time and will come back. The beds are very comfortable, the place is very quiet and the kitchen is well equipped. The area offers many opportunities to do something: there are many hiking trails directly from the house and some beautiful villages in Belgium and France. Overall, we had a nice time in Bohan again.

A family stay at Léo's, the village is quiet, by the water and at the foot of the Ardennes mountains, hiking and mountain biking from the house. The house is large, with a large garage, a garden and garden furniture available. The house is old, but clean! Only the doorways were low for my 1.92m 😆 Leo was very nice, and responsive when needed. In short, a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dorothée's place. It is very quiet and peaceful and the house is well equipped. We went cycling (road cycling) a few times and the host even had helpful suggestions for that. The whole region is really beautiful. And Dorothée is a gem as she's super kind and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Johann lives near the house, which makes it easier to arrive on site. The house he offers has beautiful volumes. The balcony, well exposed, well equipped and with a beautiful surface, is a plus. The surrounding nature is a treat for hikers and cyclists. The local heritage offers curious minds many visits. Our stay delighted my family, who discovered the green setting and the rich historical heritage of the Ardennes. And again a big thank you to Yohann for the birthday cake that was a treat for everyone.

Very nice stay! Taken care of to the last detail. Simple in terms of materials, but so well thought out in terms of design, layout and furniture! Love it! And because of its quiet location, it is also ideal to get away from it all! We are fans!

we stayed in Roxane's house for three nights, we had the floor with terrace and garden. What a lovely French house, nicely decorated with vintage furniture. A full kitchen and great shower and nice bed. Everything super clean! Roxane is a hospitable lady, who welcomes you and has nice tips in the area. The village itself has a good bakery and supermarket. Nothing else to experience. Sedan market on Saturday and the old lock 20 min. away by car.

Jean Baptiste is responsive and gives good instructions. The street is noisy but the host can't help it.

It’s a lovely, bright, comfortable, charming, and very clean studio apartment right next to the train station, about 10 minutes walk to the grocery store and lovely town square. Great bed. Flawless, fast internet. The host was very responsive to my communications. Charleville-Mézières is also a surprisingly lovely and charming town in the Ardennes Forest with a verdant river & lots of walking trails. I spent a month here as a base for trips to Belgium and Germany and Lille. They clean the place once a week and left some great food when I arrived. However, the chair next to the desk is uncomfortable to sit in and work in all day. Also, twice when I was cooking with both burners, the circuit was blown and I had to open the electrical panel to turn on the power again. So you should cook using only one burner at a time. Finally, you can hear the train station announcements all day long, but they aren’t too loud and I didn’t mind. It’s silent at night. Overall I was very happy here.

Absolutely stunning location. I couldn’t recommend the beautiful picturesque town enough. Jean’s apartment was extremely clean. You will be more than comfortable if you have a vehicle. However, if staying earlier in the week keep in mind most restaurants/food options are closed either early or not open at all. We were lucky enough to come right before peak season and the weather was still incredible. We wish it wasn’t just an overnight stop. We would definitely go back!

Too much is too much...but when it's true...! Despite our age, the accommodation is perfect. Ideal location, in the historic city center, impeccably like home, basic shops at the door for a short or medium stay for reduced strides, multi-parking solutions for a vehicle. And then the Ardennes! as soon as you cross the towns or villages. This first Airbnb contact is a success. Recognition.

Second time we went there, everything went very well. Frying stove on at check-in. We enjoyed the hot tub. See you very soon certainly.

We stayed with a group of 14 people for a wonderful long weekend in this house. In reality, it is even more spacious than the photos suggest. The house is spacious, sufficient bedrooms beds, (note!! bring your own bedding read the instructions carefully) and a very friendly and helpful host Johnny. In short, if you are looking for a nice house in a quiet beautiful area with the family or some friends, with a play area equipped with billiards, darts, jukebox and karaoke (really fantastic) then you are at the right place!!

We stayed over Christmas with our young children. The apartment is well located and easy to find. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and had everything we needed. We appreciated the Christmas decorations that had been put up around the house to make it feel homely. Would definitely stay again.

We were 6 families sharing the accommodation and the different rest areas were particularly pleasant. The huge garden a little wild is quite unexpected and very well located. The only small regret is the information about the sorting of garbage cans which is not displayed on the premises.

Short stay of one night in this accommodation, quite spacious (3 bedrooms and an exterior), with fenced garden (useful for dogs) and stair-free access from the terrace. The house is old and quite in its original state (much is period), but functional and we slept well (we did not use the kitchen). A bathroom with bathtub and shower (however, plan to bring soap/shampoo ;-)), towels and bed linen provided. The exterior has a nice terrace at the front (covered in case of rain) with a nice view and a rear terrace and an overhanging garden (with some stairs there). A quiet and peaceful neighborhood, a supermarket not far away (not even 10 minutes by car). Close to forests/woods for many walks (not tested because we came for a specific event). And a friendly, responsive, flexible host and a key box which allows for a late arrival.
