Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chalcis

We have visited Nikos’ house for a hiking weekend in that area. It was a great choice! We were 5 persons, but even for 8 people the house is big enough. It was clean, providing a lot of services, especially in the kitchen. So, the preparation of breakfast was super easy. It has a nice balcony, so we spent most of our time there, with a great mountain view around. We totally recommend it, and for sure we will booked it again when we will visit this area again. Recommendations for food and activities around, you should ask him!

We just spent a week at Nikos apartment and had an amazing stay. We were looking for a peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful surrounding with the option to go a restaurant and the beach. The apartment offered all that and were really relaxed when we left. Only thing that is not clear from the apartment info, the second room with the single beds is not a proper room, it’s part of the living room. But that did not pose a problem for us. We loved it and can highly recommend it!

Η διαμονή μας ήταν υπέροχη! Ο χώρος ήταν πολύ όμορφος, καθαρός, περιποιημένος και διακοσμημένος με γούστο, δίνοντας μια ζεστή, σπιτική αίσθηση. Βρίσκεται σε ήσυχο σημείο, αλλά ταυτόχρονα πολύ κοντά στους βασικούς προορισμούς της περιοχής, κάτι που μας εξυπηρέτησε πολύ. Είναι επίσης φιλικό για κατοικίδια, κάτι που εκτιμήσαμε ιδιαίτερα. Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν εξαιρετική – πολύ γλυκιά, ευγενική και πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!😄

To σπίτι είναι εξαιρετικό. Όμορφο, ευχάριστο και πλήρες. Είναι καλύτερο από τις φωτογραφίες κατά την άποψη μου. Και οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενέστατοι και εξυπηρετικότατοι. Η τοποθεσία του σπιτιού είναι τέλεια γιατί είναι ήσυχο και μακριά από θόρυβο και κίνηση αλλά ταυτόχρονα πολύ κοντά με τα πόδια σε εστιατόρια καφέ και την παραλία. Αν το πλάνο σας είναι η επίσκεψη στην περιοχή μπορώ με σιγουριά να σας συστήσω τον χώρο. Θα μείνετε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι

L’endroit est vraiment très calme et la vue depuis l’appartement est magnifique. L’hôte est très gentille et nous a même offert du raisin de son jardin. Parfait pour des vacances reposantes!

Πραγματικά ήταν από τις ομορφότερες διαμονές που είχαμε! Πεντακάθαρο σπίτι, φιλικοί και φιλόξενοι οικοδεσπότες. Το σπίτι ήταν ευρύχωρο,με όλες τις ανέσεις και εκτός της υποδοχής από την οικοδέσποινα, μας είχαν και καλούπια παραδοσιακά για πρωινό! Ταβέρνα φοβερή δίπλα από το σπίτι,με επίσης απίστευτες νοστιμιές,αλλά και τιμές και ευγενεστατους ανθρώπους! Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

We had a lovely stay. The welcome was very friendly. The house is great. It is very clean and everything you need is there. There are several apartments in the building, but apparently the sound insulation is great as we did not hear anything although there were little children, music (we could hear when doors were opened) etc. The WiFi has been replaced and is fine now. In the bedrooms there's no airco's but when you open the windows, the evening breeze cools everything down well. All windows have mosquito protection and are in excellent condition. If you intend to use this place as a basis for visiting Athens, be aware that in the morning downtown Athens is 1.5 hrs drive. In the afternoon it just takes 30-45 minutes.

Excellent séjour passé chez Nikos et son Papa qui était sur place dans son logement séparé. L'appartement est assez grand, propre et bien équipé, cependant il n'y a pas de "chambres" avec des portes, seulement un rideau pour fermer. Cela ne nous à pas du tout géner mais je pense que c'est bien de préciser La piscine et l'exposition au soleil permet de se ressourcer comme il faut! L'environnement calme, la vue dégagée, une petite plage à proximité.. C'est parfait pour vivre de bonnes vacances. Très accueillant et discret, nous avons pu passer d'agréables moments à discuter avec le Papa de Nikos autour d'un café, je recommande à 100%

Η διαμονη μας ηταν υπεροχη, το σπιτι ακριβως οπως στην περιγραφη. Ειχε ολα οσα ειχε υποσχεθει και πολλα αλλα. Η θεα στη θαλασσα καταπληκτικη. Η πισινα τελεια και καθαρη. Και μεγαλη για οποιον θελει να κολυμπησει! Christina σε ευχαριστουμε για αυτες τις 10 υπεροχες μερες ηρεμιας και χαλαρωσης! Οπωσδηποτε θα ξαναπαμε! Χρηστος, Ελευθερια

The villa is set back from the road up a very steep concrete driveway. We loved the peace and quiet, beautiful views and the nearby village of Nerotrivia. Aryiris came especially from Athens to welcome us to the villa, (of which he is very proud, as he and his wife had it built for themselves and filled it with arty things from their travels). The three double bedrooms have hand crafted queen beds, which would suit up to 3 couples, but as our group was of one couple and 3 individuals, Αργύρης kindly added a single bed in the lounge for us. The local bakery for fresh bread (φούρνο/αρτοποιεία) in Nerotrivia (Νεροτριβιά) is first left by a café, after passing Evia mini market, then first right up a steep passageway. The local restaurant, Bakoutis (Μπακούτης), on the left further down the main road through the village, will even make traditionally cooked Greek vegetarian meals in addition to their normal meat menu, if you order them the day before. We wished we could stay all month!

Πολύ άνετο και προσεγμένο σπίτι Σε κοντινή απόσταση από Ερέτρια και Βασιλικό .. θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα !

Το σπίτι είναι ιδανικό για μεγάλη παρέα ή οικογένειες . Εμείς ήμασταν παρέα 10 ατόμων και το ευχαριστηθήκαμε πάρα πολύ. Πολύ ωραίο το σπίτι με μεγάλους χώρους και σε πολύ ήσυχη τοποθεσία . Μεγάλο μπάρμπεκιου με τραπέζι δίπλα στην πισίνα για όποιον θέλει να ψήσει και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Γενικά δεν είχαμε κάποιο πρόβλημα και ο οικοδεσπότης μας ξεκαθάρισε απ' την πρώτη στιγμή πως ήταν πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει σε ο,τι χρειαστούμε .

Excellent house and host! Everything was very clean and Vasilis was very responsive and polite!! Just keep in mind that the whole experience is much better from what you see in the photos! My opinion is that the photos are downgrading the actual quality of the house! Every guests was more than satisfied 😊

Had an amazing few weeks at Ioannis’s place. Super clean, super comfortable. It’s perfect if you want to get away and relax for a few weeks. The towns nearby aren’t walkable but fine if you have a hire car they’re about a 10 minute drive away, they’ve got great bakeries and food stores for restocking the flat. The closest and best restaurant we had dinner at was “Tavern Bakoutis Nikolaos”. Best meat grilled dinners ever!! (And lots of cats). The pool is bigger than the pictures make it seem and it’s very clean with a pump to filter out leaves etc. Ioannis provides sun loungers which are great on a sunny day. Overall Ioannis is a fantastic host who truly cares about his guests happiness, he brought us fish he and his wife had made for lunch as well as giving us recommendations about areas nearby. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants a quiet place to relax and live the Grecian lifestyle.

Was soll man sagen, ohne dass es übertrieben wirkt? Wir haben noch nie einen Gastgeber wie Vasiliki gehabt. Welcher Gastgeber bäckt zum Empfang Kuchen , bereitet das Abendessen zu und verteilt Geschenke? So liebevoll wie der Empfang war auch die Betreuung während unseres Aufenthaltes. Es wurde versucht alles perfekt zu machen. Auf dem Hügel, wo die Villa liegt, gibt es nur wenige Häuser und dessen Besitzer sind mit Vasiliki befreundet und helfen auch mit, dass man als Gast sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Sie es mit Tips rund um den Pool und dem kleinen Wasserfall, mit Tips rund um Restaurants oder einfach nur mit netten Gesprächen. Die Villa und der Garten sind wirklich schön und auch da merkt man, mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail Vasiliki hier daran arbeitet, etwas Schönes zu erschaffen. Die kleine Kapelle mit Kirchenglocke ist einzigartig, innen und außen. Uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern ( 9,16) hat der Urlaub sehr viel Ruhe und Entspannung gebracht und wird uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Το σπίτι ήταν υπέροχο και πολύ οργανωμένο, είχε μέσα οτιδήποτε μπορεί να χρειαστείς. Θέα το ηλιοβασίλεμα από το μπαλκόνι!!! Περνώντας απέναντι το δρόμο ήταν η παραλία!!! Είχε τα πάντα κοντά, από φαΐ, καφέ, ποτό, ψώνια! Η κυρία Ευαγγελία, ένας υπέροχος άνθρωπος !!! Εγώ και οι κόρες μου μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένες! Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Een geweldige plek om te verblijven, nét buiten de drukte van Chalkis. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om ergens te komen. De buren (boven en achterom) zijn geweldig: zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ruimtes zijn iets kleiner als ze op de foto lijken maar alles is perfect in orde en brandschoon. John is een vriendelijke en heel behulpzame host die er alles aan deed om ons verblijf naar wens te maken!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The space was even more stunning in person—bright, stylish, and incredibly well-maintained. It felt both cozy and spacious, making it a perfect place for our family. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and helpful throughout. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great family getaway!

From the time I arrived it felt like home. The house is very comfortable and very clean. My questions were always answered quickly and communication was easy. I stayed for two months and I hope I can stay here again for my next business trip.

Beautiful, clean and well located apartment that has the beach and places to eat within walking distance. The host was great and very friendly. Fully recommended and will visit again.

My son and I spent a long weekend at Gogo's place, and it truly couldn’t have been a better fit for us. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to local markets, the sea, cozy cafés, and lots of fun spots for a 6-year-old to play and explore nature. Gogo was a wonderful host who made us feel completely at home and was always happy to help with anything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend staying here!

Μείναμε στο studio 3 βράδια. Πρόκειται για ένα πολύ ήσυχο σημείο, με πράσινο γύρω γύρω. Το σπιτάκι ήταν καθαρό και δεν μας έλειψε τίποτα από όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Ο κ Νίκος είναι πολύ ευγενικός και χαμογελαστός. Έχει κι έναν γλυκύτατο σκύλο με τον οποίο ασχοληθήκαμε αρκετά. Αν θέλει κάποιος να ηρεμήσει και να ξεκουραστεί είναι μια χαρά, με γρήγορη πρόσβαση σε παραλίες και στο κέντρο της πόλης.
