House holiday rentals in Chalcis

We stayed 6 weeks and it felt like a resort. My family really liked the pool during the heat wave and the "basement" villa overlooking the sea was great for our teenagers to get away from us. Great location with easy access to shopping and the main road around Evia. Not great if you're looking for a place that doesn't need a car. The wifi is about standard for Greece and the islands. The host and his brother (Andreas) were amazing and responsive when we had problems or questions. There are several rentals within the gated area that have access to the beach, but this is the only rental with a pool and a beach. The beach is better than most public beaches on the gulf-side of Evia, but the Agean-side of Evia is where the real beaches are. I would definitely stay there again.

Anna and Menelaos were delightful hosts - friendly and helpful, & they even invited us to join them for Sunday dinner! The apartment/villa is just lovely - lots of space & fully equipped with a private wrap-around balcony (so you can find sun or shade to your preference all day), and a shared (with the hosts) garden & pool area. So lovely to come back to a little paradise after a hot day of exploring! And a great location - near enough to Chalkida that you can quickly be in the middle of the action if you wish. Note there is a relatively steep flight of stairs (as noted in the listing).

Excellent stay at Nikos and his Dad's place, who was on site in his separate accommodation. The apartment is quite large, clean and well-equipped, however there are no "bedrooms" with doors, only a curtain to close. This does not bother us at all, but I think it is good to clarify The pool and sun exposure allow you to recharge properly! The quiet environment, the unobstructed view, a small beach nearby... It's perfect for a good vacation. Very welcoming and discreet, we were able to spend pleasant moments chatting with Nikos' dad over a coffee, I recommend it 100%

The place was spotless, in the house you find exactly what it says in the description and a perfect location with a nice view!!

We would like to personally thank Mr. Giannis. He was a great host. His instructions helped us incredibly. He was very willing to serve me and all my friends. I have already recommended it to my friends and if we want to go there with my friends, we will definitely choose it again. The house is fully equipped, barbecue, swimming pool, towels, air conditioners, hair dryer, refrigerator. It was a wonderful weekend.

If you want to be out of town at a quiet location in a big house with a pool and big views of the ocean, this is a great place for all the above. We had a really enjoyable time staying here and hosting friends and family that came to visit. Our kids loved the over sized pool. Thank you Natalia for taking us on, on our short notice request. We really appreciate it and enjoyed.

The house is simply wonderful! 3 beautiful bedrooms, living room, very large dining room, excellent kitchen, spotless and equipped with everything you need, salt, pepper, oil, espresso coffee and even plastic cups. 2 bathrooms upstairs in the large bedrooms and 1 toilet downstairs also spotless where again there was everything, shower gel, shampoo, hair cream, extra hand towels, enough and even body deodorants and tissues for those who do not use face towels! Emma is an amazing host, very friendly and kind, a wonderful person! We highly recommend Emma and her wonderful home to spend your vacation or weekend with your friends or family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have been staying at AirBnBs for years and years but Villa Calypso has to top them all! I literally could not stop smiling and dancing when we first got there. It is so beautiful and so well kept. The decor is outstanding. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Absolutely everything we needed was there. The outdoor facilities are amazing and the setting is priceless. Sophia and Kostas are first class hosts - so helpful, friendly and responsive. It was the perfect place for our family to gather and make precious memories. We cannot recommend Villa Calypso highly enough. You have to experience it to believe it!

The apartment of Christina is indeed wonderful. We have been in quite some places, but here we felt immediately at home. Thanks to the tasteful furniture and decorations. And everything was there. In the Netherlands we call that “ gezellig”. We made beautiful walks in the neighborhood and the town is small but well organized. Chalkida is just around the corner. Our host Christina was very helpful and a very friendly person. Altogether we enjoyed it in Amarynthos

An amazing place to stay just outside the hustle and bustle of Chalkis. You do need a car to get around. The neighbors (upstairs and back) are great: very friendly and helpful. The spaces are a little smaller when they look in the photo but everything is perfectly in order and sparkling clean. John is a kind and very helpful host who went above and beyond to make our stay as desired!

From the time I arrived it felt like home. The house is very comfortable and very clean. My questions were always answered quickly and communication was easy. I stayed for two months and I hope I can stay here again for my next business trip.

The accommodation exceeded my expectations. My 1.5-year-old child was thrilled with the opportunity to run between the floors. Initially, my wife was reserved, but she soon agreed that the place was extraordinary. The location is a fully equipped house with everything you might need - a vacuum cleaner, tissues, oil, shampoo... anything you can think of, it was there. There is a parking space for one car and a small garden on the property. Additionally, the house has a terrace and a balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner on the terrace with a view of the sea. There is a beach nearby and several restaurants with delicious food within walking distance. A 5-minute drive will take you to a LIDL supermarket and many small shops with tasty food. Overall, I am very pleased that I found this place and will happily stay there again when I visit Khalkida.

Wow! What an amazing stay. An authentic family holiday home that has clearly been loved for generations, in a stunning location, and with all the amenities for a fantastic group / family stay. Eleni was super friendly, kind and helpful, was there to greet us on arrival, and on hand to answer questions throughout. Probably the best Airbnb I've experienced, in over a decade. We will definitely be visiting again.

we spent a wonderful 3 days in this place, with children, celebrating the anniversary. Everything was very good, the furniture is comfortable, the territory is beautiful and clean, we will definitely come back again. Special thanks for the pleasant treats for us.

We had an excellent stay. Xena and Mr. Panayiotis, the caretaker, have been flexible, kind and responsive hosts. The house is confortable, well equipped and located in a convenient place to explore this side of Greece. Thank you again for having us, we had a great time.

Above my expectations! Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights: the apartment can easily host a family of 4, there's plenty of indoor space and a balcony to relax and enjoy the sunset. No problem with the A/C, WiFi is also available (connection is not fast though) and we had plenty of bathroom towels for us to use. Cutlery and kitchenware also available, the kitchen also provides a big fridge for longer stays. For winter times, there's also a fireplace! The area is very quiet and close to sandy beaches, but you'd need a car to move around.

Communication with Ms. Odyssey was very good and direct. The instructions were clear on how to find the house. We didn't have to communicate many times because it had exactly what it described. Quiet, well-kept and clean space and a very beautiful place close enough to Athens was exactly what we wanted!!! We will definitely go again because we had a wonderful time!!! We thank Mrs. Odyssea very much for the care and hospitality!!❤️🥰 Although we only spoke on the phone, she immediately won me over with her kindness!!!

a perfect family house with a large yard suitable for young children but also relaxation. the house was super clean and everything was wonderfully decorated the beds very comfortable and big. there was a small check-in gift that was duly appreciated. we will definitely go again!!!
