What a magical place to stay! I can recommend Levi as a host and the location of his accomodation to anyone who wishes to have an extraordinary experience of Ghana. Me and my father both had a wonderful stay and left the place feeling young, light and happy. More than just an airbnb! A healing experience. Some things that stand out are: amazing food, magical nature, restful sleep and a gracious host. Thank you, Levi!

Frederick`s brother showed me around and we went to good places for vegeterian food. He took me to some good dance places and helped me whenever I needed something. We had some very interesting open minded conversations. The family was very kind as well. Looking forward to see you again :-)

Sydney's place is a lovely somewhat isolated location away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get to all the major attractions in Elmina and Cape Coast if you have a private car. Eric, the assistant manager and Pius the caretaker were very hospitable and did not hestitate to help us with anything we needed (even at 12am). Sydney the owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had via email. I was there to have an engagement shoot with my wedding party of 10. The intent was to travel to various places around Cape Coast and Elmina but the space was so lovely we ended up doing a lot of the shoot right at the house. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway or if you want a home away from home feel. We had free use of the kitchen to prepare our own meals and as stated before the hospitality was great! Smiles all around.

My wife and I have stayed here several times and as always it’s a wonderful time. Peaceful place, beautiful and relaxing. Wisdom the caretaker is a true gem! Rogier, the owner came on our last day and he is so friendly and just a pleasure to talk to. We’ll be back.

Want connections with a Ghanaian family? Traveling alone? Want a little extra help navigating a new culture? This is the place for you. Ramsy went out of his way to make sure every part of my trip went well, from contacting a local carpenter, to helping me with a phone card, to helping us find the local bus to Kakum. He and his wife made sure I had food that worked for me, cool clean water and help to understand the local culture. Their lovely children brought fun and laughter into my days. I will definitely stay here again on future trips.

This is the second time I stay here. I had a wonderful stay and I will be back a third time. The owner is very helpful and listens to his guests.

The place is very comfortable although it’s quite far from Cape Coast, about 25km out which can be a bit expensive in terms of transport. The on-site staff is very helpful and very thoughtful as well. The area is very noisy as it is right by the roadside so you never get a moment's peace and quiet although you get used to it. The bed is comfortable and everything works as it should. If you are looking for a sanctuary for a few days that you can use as a base to explore Cape Coast then it’s perfect for you.

Ahmahtsiyahu is a helpful host who knows the area and the people of Effutu very well. His house and garden are beautiful and well organised.

I couldn’t be happier being in anywhere else than Francis’ place. Felt like home from home, with great response from my host answering any questions and suggestions on things to do. It was my anniversary and my host gifted me one of the best things one could ask for. Thank you Mr. Francis. Samuel and the other attendees were very polite, respectful and proactive in responding to any of our needs. Breakfast was delicious and mouth watering. Family members enjoyed the place and wished they could stay even longer. We are definitely coming back. I would recommend Francis place to anyone who’s visiting or even passing through town for a peaceful and private place to stay. Home from home 🥰.

To anyone who is wanting to travel to Ghana and want to stay in a friendly and peaceful environment. I recommend Groove Haven Lodge. They are very Flexible to work with, I love their Air condition. I had a nice relaxing 14 days at Groove Haven Lodge. very Clarn. bathroom, hot water, kitchen nice. cook your own food if you which. Francis is always available when you called him for help. I appreciate them . I will stay at this place any time I travel to Ghana. Thank you.

I had a wonderful solo beach getaway at Sunflower Resort. The setting was beautiful and serene, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with myself. From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable and treated like family. The staff on-site were incredibly helpful, always ensuring I had everything I needed. I especially enjoyed spending my days by the seaside, taking in the peaceful atmosphere, listening to music, and journaling. The included breakfast was a nice touch and made my mornings even more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be updating the bathroom, but aside from that, everything was great. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape with warm hospitality, Sunflower Resort is a lovely choice. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great time at Franklin’s place. He was a very responsive host that was always willing to help when we had an issue. Would recommend his place to others for sure!

I and my family came to Akomapa to stay and we really loved it,the atmosphere and the breeze of the sea and everything. The workers there are very friendly and attentive. The boss Ras Kobby is very understandable as we had to change our date and he did it without any hesitation. I would recommend Akomapa village100%,it’s valued for money and we will definitely comes back when we visit Ghana again.
