Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

We had a wonderful stay at Alain's for our reunion with friends. All we want is to have a good weekend. The pool, the many games available, the barbecue. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathrooms. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden.

We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

very pleasant stay in this pretty house. Stéphanie was very responsive to our few questions and always very pleasant. perfect house for reunions with friends with children, especially young children (the game room is ideal with many games for the greatest pleasure of children and parents).

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Laetitia is a charming cottage. We had a good chat, she gave us documentation and thank you for this welcome gift. I recommend this cottage if you want to be in the quiet countryside. You will find your happiness at Laetitia's.

Great stay at Elsa's! Very nice cottage for families, ideal with children (ponies, pottery workshop, very nice garden)... Laurence, Elsa's mom is very responsive and welcoming.

The gite is perfect, everything you need for an ideal stay, the swimming pool is a perfect size for a little one and also is you want to do a few lengths. The garden and barn is spectacular, the perfect space to escape from the heat and eat in a beautiful place. The hosts, Sue and Paul, are so accommodating and so very welcoming, it’s been the best stay and we did not want to go home!! We have already booked to come back, an amazing stay 👍👍👍👍

He was able to welcome us warmly and put us at ease from the first moments. As for his house, it is simply magnificent. You can feel that every detail has been carefully thought out to offer optimal comfort. The cleanliness was impeccable, the equipment was modern and functional, and the general atmosphere of the house was both elegant and friendly. Very nice cottage , well equipped and clean, comfortable beds. The exteriors are so beautiful by the water, with this first spring sun, it was perfect! Caroline had given us all the necessary information in advance and Ludivine was present upon arrival to explain everything to us. We had a lovely stay with the family!

Very nice accommodation ideally located with very nice decoration and rarely seen and quality equipment (we were transported to our memories with utensils of all generations) In addition, Bernadette showed a great welcome while being friendly with delicious little gifts to eat. Excellent accommodation, our go to place when we are in Niort.

We had a great family stay as part of a cousinade. The cottage was perfectly in line with the description, very well-equipped, clean and warm, offering an ideal setting to meet and share beautiful moments. Melo, our host, was remarkably available and kind, as was his father, with whom the contact was also very pleasant. Their warm welcome greatly contributed to the success of our weekend. A big thank you for this wonderful experience, which we recommend without hesitation.

Quiet and peaceful location with all the necessary equipment. The apartment is tastefully renovated. A small terrace to enjoy the outdoors... given the weather I could not enjoy the pool but it will be for the next time. I will come back with great pleasure.

Well-equipped and nicely decorated accommodation, easily accessible with parking right next door. The host is accommodating and friendly. The only downside is the proximity to the road, but it was not disturbing during our short stay.
