Holiday rentals in Carù

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

Such an incredible location! We had an amazing stay. Alessandra and Ludovico were brilliant hosts, so friendly and welcoming. They helped us organise e-bikes and gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. We will be back!

Thank you very much, Ivano! 🧡 Our stay with Ivano was simply unforgettable. From the first minute, he welcomed us with a warmth that is rarely experienced. Ivano is a wonderful person - well-read, intelligent and full of life experience, which he shares with warmth and modesty. He really gave everything so that we – my family, our children and even our dog – are completely happy. He was there in every situation, with action, a smile or loving gestures. Our children were absolutely thrilled, and even our dog immediately felt at home. A beautiful, spacious garden with berry bushes, trees and countless loving details. You can feel how much love for nature and mindfulness is in every corner. It is a place of peace and beauty that you don't want to leave. I would write a lot more if it were possible here. Daniele is a very attentive and warm host. The table was already set for dinner, there was an extensive welcome package ready and the bathroom was also prepared with attention to detail for our stay. The garden is also beautiful and well maintained, and is also equipped with excellent garden furniture. Daniele lives on the same plot, but that is only pleasant in Daniele's case! He is very courteous and has decorated the house in such a way that you immediately feel at home and especially welcome. There are beautiful walks in the area and Daniele has the maps for them in the house. From the house you can walk within 10 minutes to a very nice and tasty restaurant (tip from Daniele) We had a very nice and relaxing stay.

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund, Focaccia, was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening while enjoying the beautiful sunset. 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me very valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Turchetti! It’s so beautiful, the house is beautifully decorated, clean and nice! And not least, Silvia and Federico are really lovely and hospitable hosts. At the same kind both personal and professional. We also recommend to stay in and eat dinner at the fantastic restaurant- beautiful environment and really good food. The area is stunning.

The hosts were perfect, giving advice on where to visit and things to do. The food was outstanding, you really need to have a meal cooked by them. The accommodation was lovely, everything you need. The surroundings were like a little piece of heaven, it is so beautiful and peaceful. We are already planning our return trip!
