Holiday rentals with beach access in Carrapateira

Die Unterkunft war super. Wir waren eine Woche im Frühling mit unseren Kindern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage war super, weil man schnell in der Innenstadt war (perfekt für den Zeitraum). Pedro war sehr nett, schnell zu erreichen und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Es gab alles wie beschrieben. Wir fanden es toll. Danke!

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

The apartment is very well located, near the beach and with many restaurants nearby. The coolest thing is the terrace because of the beautiful view. If you prefer to stay and enjoy time in silence, it’s a great choice. It's also very clean and has everything you need. And the hosts are very helpful and very responsive; we appreciated their help with anything. It’s a perfect place for a vacation.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Tiago et tout était tout simplement parfait ❤️ L’appartement était bien décoré, impeccable et il y avait beaucoup de rangement! Le gros plus de l’appartement était le fameux balcon avec la vue imprenable, parfait pour les petits déjeuners et les soupers. L’accès aux randonnées soit vers Lagos ou celle vers Burgau était génial! De plus, l’arrêt bus vers Lagos était à quelques mètres à pied. Vraiment tout était super, je ne voulais plus partir!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views are unreal, pictures cannot do it justice. Short walk to the beach and a pool right below! Gil and Telma were very responsive, we had lost power one night and Telma helped us fix right away. Perfect stay for our first time in Lagos and we would definitely return!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons eu une hôte accueillante et souriante. Les instructions etaient très claire, l’appartement très propre et le quartier a deux pas de la mer. Seul bémol, le bruit des travaux en journée mais rien de repoussant. C’était un plaisir !

Jean-Louis and Helena were fantastic hosts – always friendly, helpful, and easy to reach! We’ve rarely experienced such warmth and attentiveness – you feel welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. For surfers, it’s a true paradise: Jean-Louis runs his own surfboard rental, is a passionate surfer himself, and knows every spot in the area. His recommendations were always spot-on – perfectly suited to the conditions and your skill level. The beach Beliche is just across the street and ideal for beginners to catch their first waves. Perfect for learning or just enjoying the sun and sea. We’ll definitely be coming back and can absolutely recommend staying with Jean-Louis and Helena!

We had an amazing few days in Carvoeiro at Willem’s place. Super conveniently located if you have a car and want to explore towns nearby. We did this and really loved the neighboring beaches in Ferrogudo, and restaurants in Carvoeiro were easy to access and great. Be sure to just make reservations for dinners in advance- glad we did so we could explore the local restaurants. The porch has an amazing view, bed is comfortable, and AC is super. We also used the laundry machine and it was super user friendly and the owners had clear instructions for how to use it. The owners were so courteous and when my husband got sick on our the last day and had a fever, they let us check out late and were so helpful. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts- would definitely stay there again!

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Unique, cozy little house with the beach right outside, perfect for a one of a kind vacation. Sagres is the chillest place, surf town with incredible natural beauty and all the essentials. Hosts are lovely. We had a great time.

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Häuschen von Mariana verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine kleine Oase der Ruhe . Wir haben den Außenbeleuchtung, vor allem den Pool gut nutzen können. Es gab genug verschiedenartige Bereiche. Die private Terrasse im ersten Stock war herrlich und privat. Die Küche haben wir nur zum Frühstück herrichten genutzt, da es jede Menge Restaurants in der Nähe gibt. Wir würden wiederkommen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eva's place. It's at the top of a hill with a beautiful view, in a very quiet part of Lagos, but within extremely short walk of bustling nightlife and lovely beaches. There's a private and comfortable private patio area with high walls that's perfect for a glass of wine and some charcuterie after a day at the beach. I would highly recommend staying here! Eva is also very proactive with giving instructions for check in and check out, but did not make any unreasonable or lengthy cleaning requests at check out, as some other hosts do.

Joao is extremely responsive and helpful . He was very flexible about check in and out times The Villa is stunning, even better than the photos show, clean comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return soon Thank you Joao

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Margarida’s place. The home is thoughtfully designed and nestled in the heart of an orange orchard, which made waking up to the scent of orange blossoms feel like a dream. The space was very comfortable and peaceful, with plenty of privacy—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time by the pool and gazing at the clear, starry skies at night. The Algarve is absolutely stunning, and Margarida’s place made our time there even more special. Highly recommended!

Der Kontakt mit Marcella war sehr herzlich und zuverlässig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Die Lage perfekt. Wir haben uns dort wie Einheimische gefühlt. Es ist ruhig, authentisch und wenig touristisch. Ein kleines Sofa wäre toll ;-)

Vielen Dank Claudio und Sofie für die sehr schöne Beherbergung. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt super praktisch sowohl um die nahegelegenen Strände und Natur zu erkunden, als auch abends fußläufig gut essen bzw. etwas trinken zu gehen. Claudio und Sofie waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung!

The location was amazing for walking to the beach, having alfresco meals, and Emmanuelle was a wonderful host! So pleased and was a perfect start to our Portugal holiday!

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Joao hat uns herzlich begrüsst und sogar Wein und einen Obstteller für uns bereitgestellt. Er gab uns viele Tips für Ausflüge und hat immer schnell geantwortet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral gelegen und man kann das Meer und Zentrum zu Fuss in ca 10-15 Min erreichen. Es gibt einen sehr guten Bäcker ( Delicias ) , und viele Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und ma hat einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung liegt im 3.Stock .
