Farmstay holiday rentals in Carpathian Mountains

We had a great stay! The house is authentic and peaceful, and the surroundigs beautiful. It has all the accomodations you would need (the grill is a great addition). Cristian has a booklet with superb recommendations on what to do in the area which was very helpful. All in all we had the best time and we would fully reccomend!

Great place for a relaxing getaway in a quiet town. Ivan was very nice and so helpful.

Nemanja’s place was amazing - very tastefully done and very well maintained. The location was great with a great view - we love sunsets and this was one of the best ones. It all felt like Tuscany! Swimming pool was great with a really cosy seating area around it! Would love to come back next year

Incredibly grateful to have enjoyed this beautiful stay off in the mountains. The property itself is easy to reach, while being isolated enough that you can experience cows and horses next door rather than people. It really feels like a family home, with comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms and a warm living room (plus a yard that would be great for kids). Ulmis was very proactive with his directions and guidance, which in our case included some much appreciated hiking tips. Couldn't recommend more highly, this is quite a special part of the world.

We have had a great time in this little fun cottage. If you like peace and cats you should diffenetly check it ;) Our hosts were always quickly responded to our questions. The house is so well equipped, we felt at home quickly. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 days here and absolutely loved it. The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodation was charming, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We’d come back anytime – and hopefully we will!

We had a great stay at Tamas's place. The cottage fully met our expectations. Rooms were exactly as described. We slept well. The fridge turned out to be broken, and this was immediately fixed. Well equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Very nice garden and terrace with beautiful views of the lake. In terms of distance, it is just too far to go to the beach on foot, so we did use our car for that. We were looking for a place to relax near the (sometimes busy) Balaton and we definitely found that.

The "Oasis" was lovely. It felt like arriving at a magical forest in the middle of Bosnia. It was a bit hard to find (Go up at the restaurant!). But when we called the host we got detailed instructions and he immediately went to pick us up. We took a 2 hour detour during our roadtrip and it was worth every cent and minute. Don't hesitate and book this unique experience!

Great place for a quiet weekend, the animals on the farm are wonderful, we also saw wild rabbits roaming around. Very cozy with all the necessary amenities and more for a comfortable stay. Andor was very friendly and welcoming, super responsive and flexible.

It was like entering a dream, the first glamping, a gift of love for a birthday. There, in a secluded spot hidden in a deep forest, it was just the two of us and the all-pervading nature. The morning mists lazily rolled among the trees, and the evening silence was disturbed only by the crackling of the fire and the whispering of the leaves. Time passed differently, slower, and every moment seemed to be saturated with magic. It was in that quiet proximity, surrounded only by the scent of the forest and the singing of birds, that we rediscovered each other and ourselves. It was a great experience, the simple beauty of being, which taught us the most valuable lesson: how little is actually needed for true happiness. We carry the immense calm that permeated us in our hearts as a rare treasure. It was a beautiful time that reminded us that the greatest gifts are not hidden in material things, but in quiet harmony with nature and a loved one.

When I saw the cottage photos I knew it’s the right place for me and when I arrived there I just felt home. The whole area is amazing. It’s away from noise and people just you with the birds and nature of beautiful Balaton. The moment I booked the cottage on Airbnb Abel and Anita were so helpful and communicative. The moment I arrived Anita drove me to the cottage then helped me to visit some places also arranged an activity for me and my daughter. She’s an angel on earth. She made it sure that my stay is going well. The weather was raining so definitely I will come back on summer. Thank you Anita and Abel. You are amazing 🩵

The cottage is in a great location - on the one hand, a quiet, idyllic atmosphere and beautiful views, on the other hand, close to Biedronka or other smaller shops, if something is missing. There are many walking opportunities both near the cottage and in the vicinity by car or bicycles waiting in the garden. The cottage itself is beautiful, clean and fragrant. Really impressively equipped - it has everything you need. A double hammock is the perfect option for relaxing in the garden! However, if something was missing, I am convinced that the owner would have arranged it in a flash :) A great place for pets. The area is well fenced and what was important to us - without other dogs behind the fence. There were bowls filled with water and a ball and a stick waiting for the dog, it was very nice. Only the stairs to the top for our senior turned out to be a little too steep, but there is a closed gate next to them, so you don't have to worry that he will decide to climb them without our knowledge. We'll be back :)

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Extremely cozy, beautiful views, nothing but quiet nature and horses in the surroundings. Idyllic. The hostess prepared everything perfectly for us. Staying here gave us peace of mind :) We will come again.

Stunning chalet in a lovely hilltop location. We travelled as a group of 2 families with 3 children and found there to be ample room to accommodate everyone - didn't even need to use the uppermost loft area. Plenty of bedding options! Heaps of room! Kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare meals as required - heaps of plates, utensils, cooking pots/pans, etc. Only a single fridge though so if you're travelling with a larger group keep this in mind. Lovely fireplace and plenty of wood provided. Definitely the centrepiece of the living room! Worth mentioning that Internet speeds are not amazing (it is fairly remote, after all), so if you're relying on streaming services for the kids, just be aware. Luckily, there was a cat from next door to keep them occupied :) Overall, highly recommend.

We felt at home at Tomas' place. The environment and communication were very good. I'll probably say that my girlfriend and I will be happy to stay there again:). I highly recommend it to people who want to be calm and truly relax. Thank you again to his whole family.

Ovidiu's place was lovely, we wish we could've stayed longer. The location was very peaceful and was very quiet at night. Very clean, cosy rooms. We got the homemade breakfast and it was amazing - thanks Ovidiu!

Witold was a wonderful host, we had a warm welcome at the place. He was always responsive for the times we’ve had question and he is friendly. He also offers breakfast for a very reasonable price, he cooks it himself. In other times you’re free to use the kitchen and fridge yourself if you want to cook anything, it’s a huge kitchen! Place was nicely decorated for Christmas and had a cozy feeling with the fireplace. We didn’t have time to try the sauna but it looked nice. In our room there were some hairs left from other guests but other than that place was clean. It’s a prefect location if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay near hiking routes and ski spot. We would definitely come back!!

Great place, would recommend for everyone if they want peace and a special stay

Tiberiu and his family made us feel at home. Very warm, hospitable and always attentive to our needs. The place is an oasis of tranquility, full of greenery and with a wonderful look at the Fagaras mountains. In the surroundings there are a lot of things to do and good restaurants where you can serve meals (attention - car is needed). Overall we relaxed and enjoyed our vacation to the fullest. We will definitely be back!

Great cottage with all imaginable amenities. Large well-kept garden with attention to detail and many different seating options. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, in addition there is a great place to grill. Beautiful view of the Carpathians, lots of peace and nature (fish, frogs, birds, dogs and cats ;-) ) Absolute recommendation! 5*****

Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the beauty of the scenery and the serenity of the place. We would certainly recommend Eugenia's place to family and friends
