The place is also perfect for resting: surrounded by greenery, very quiet and with quick access to wineries, the river and downtown Carmelo. It is the right balance between nature, comfort and sport. Highly recommended for those looking to combine relaxation with golf in a privileged environment.

The house is as it appears in the photos. Everything is impeccable, tidy and clean. The interiors and garden are very well maintained. Good quality mattresses and linens. The furnishings of the houses are modern and functional. The gazebo area and its fire pit are ideal.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, spacious, and artfully decorated home. The high ceilings, wood floors, and natural light made it feel airy and calm. The setting was very peaceful—no traffic noise—and we appreciated the newer appliances and thoughtful design touches. A few practical issues stood out: the toaster didn’t work properly, and there was a rusted honing rod and steak knife in the drawer. While we appreciated the stainless steel pan, the nonstick one was scratched and worn. The white couch was extremely firm, and the bathroom door in the master bedroom wouldn’t stay closed. Still, these were minor things in the grand scheme, and we’re confident the owners can address them easily. With a few updates, this place could be truly exceptional. We’d gladly come back to enjoy its charm, quiet, and natural light again.

The house is excellent, very nice, spacious, comfortable. The neighborhood very quiet, the open landscape. A few minutes, by car, from good restaurant and art center Malba. A few minutes away also from shops in Escobar. Sergio is always attentive and very pleasant We really enjoyed our stay Thank you 😍 🙂

Beautiful house in a very quiet place, a few minutes from Carmelo, Nazarena and her husband were very kind, they left us cut firewood to light the stove, and they were in every detail. I also had a very nice grillero that we didn't get to use because of the shortness of our stay, we stayed wanting to have stayed longer! Beautiful place if you have your own locomotion and you are looking for tranquility in the area.

For our taste maybe a little expensive. It would cut off the hot water all of a sudden. My friends were a bit angry. But the house is great. Missing pool.

The house and place are nicer than what you see in the photos! The house is super cozy and complete, we were there for two weeks and we didn't miss anything. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning. The kitchen area has grills and areas to eat outside. The neighborhood has a pristine pool overlooking the river and tennis courts, paddle, play area. Great for families with kids. Matias was very atendo, quick to respond and help us with what we needed. Super recommendable, we hope to be able to come back one day.

I spent 3 beautiful days in this house. The place is very quiet, surrounded by nature, ideal to disconnect from the pace of the city. The house is super comfortable and is equipped with a lot of love and attention. A great plus is the kayak: going out to paddle the creek was a real pleasure and gave the experience a special touch. I had a little confusion when I arrived: since I am not a native Spanish speaker, I did not understand in the voice message that I had to bring a towel and sheet. Luckily, we quickly resolved it with the host and everything went well. In any case, I think the house should have towels and bed linen, especially considering that it is indicated in the ad. As a suggestion, it would be ideal to have a small stock of towels to facilitate the stay of foreign guests. In short, an excellent experience. I would definitely come back! 😊

Carlos our host was very nice and was in the place for any concerns, the place is dreamy, lots of tranquility in the area, has everything for the guys to have fun outdoors , and there are board games. We will definitely be back!

Analía and Gaston welcomed us at the port and helped us at all times with the transfer. The accommodation is crazy, it has two grills, 1 stove, a clay oven and a fireplace inside. Incredible. We're very grateful for their hospitality We will be back!

We spend a few divine days in Refugio de Río. The house is a dream: super bright and with a view of the river that is enjoyed from all environments. Everything is spotless, very comfortable and designed to relax. Dani, the host, was loving from the first moment, always attentive and with the best wave.
