Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Caribbean Netherlands

This unit is exactly as advertised. The screened in porch is always a must to keep bugs out. The huge free standing porch and ceiling fan make sitting outside very enjoyable unlike many other units on the same property. There were 2 refrigerators which was very nice for keeping cold beverages in one of them. The microwave is a bit of a challenge to figure out how to work, very complicated in my opinion but did work well. My only complaint (and not a big deal) was the wall clock battery was dead along with the digital safe box. Vera did contact the property manager about getting the safe opened for me to use. The property manager said she would return later with new batteries for the safe and the clock which she did not. I saw her again a few days later talking to another unit owner and kindly reminded her of the batteries to which she apologized and simply said she forgot but would still get them to me. She never did return with the batteries (and very expensive) which disappointed me.

Ariana is very attentive and supported me where necessary. The accommodation is clean and has everything needed. The area is safe and only a few meters from a large supermarket. There is a scooter rental 5-10min from the accommodation. I was very happy!

Filip was an exceptional host. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and gave us fantastic suggestions for snorkeling spots and must-see sights. He was always readily available to answer questions and truly takes great care of the Airbnb space. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with an expansive shower that made cleaning up after a day at the beach a breeze. We also loved the outdoor kitchenette, which allowed us to store snacks and prepare meals. The BBQ next to the pool was super convenient and added to the relaxed vibe of the property. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend staying here with Filip.

We had a great week in Casa Trankilo. The hostesses are really nice and friendly people. The appartement itself was everything we needed for a week. The location is also really good with Kralendijk within walking distance. I can recommend this appartement to everyone.

Everything was perfect. Excellent service from Heather. We we welcolmed with fresh beverage and food on our arrival which was really appreciated. The place is beautifull with lots of trees, birds... The pool is very quiet and the view is excellent. Overall we had a dream vacation.

The host is terrific. I missed several emails he sent prior to my arrival so, at last minute, I contacted him for check-in info and he was super pleasant and friendly and we met on the property. Had a quick tour and moved right in! We saw the owner occasionally during the week and he was always friend but never bothersome. This is a multi-unit property, I think 9 individual apartment buildings (cottages). The studio apartment we rented was clean, large enough for my wife and I for a week. That said, since there is so much to do on Bonaire, we mostly just slept there. Gone all day. The pool was nice with chairs all around. The property is fenced and gated so we felt very relaxed and safe. There were other guests, in other apartments, but the units are spaced out nicely so it was quiet. Oh, and say hello to Cody, the friendly kitty who roams the property! We enjoyed our stay!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our main goal was to dive, which this location is perfect for - two dive sites are within a walking distance - the Windsock House Reef and the Bachelor's Beach. The latter also has a sandy portion for snorkelers and sunbathers. The Wannadive dive shop is also just a minute walk. The shop provides a great easy-going service with a free Nitrox upgrade. (Although they did sell me a new LPI hose for $50 after mine blew...) The AirBnB location is also great for getting to the main southern dive sites - you don't have to drive thru the city. Very handy if you forgot something important :) The unit itself was clean and comfy with a high speed internet, air conditioning and sufficient kitchen amenities to cook for yourself. Considering the crazy restaurant prices, it was very beneficial. All in all, I would definitely recommend this location, in fact, I already did recommend it at my dive shop. Hope to come back soon enough! Thank you!!

Tarimar welcomed us and was very helpful by answering any of our questions. He gave us a lovely tour of all his fruit trees in his yard. He helped us secure a rental car. The apartment was accurately depicted in the photos. We would recommend this property to a couple for a lovely stay!! We will be returning in the future!!

Kas Mai voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. Maar dat tegelijkertijd ook erg makkelijk omdat we geen verwachtingen hadden, wel vergelijk met twee andere plekken waar we verbleven hebben op het eiland. Wij zijn een beetje verliefd geworden op Cas Mai; op de plek, maar vooral op de inrichting, een heerlijke smaakvolle, warme, relaxte stijl. Qua plek heb je het gevoel meer in de 'outback' te zitten wat een gevoel van vrijheid met zich mee brengt. tegelijkertijd ben je met de auto (fijn dat je die makkelijk bij het huisje kon huren) over zeer snel. Communicatie en afspraken omtrent huis/auto verliepen gemakkelijk. Straalde vertrouwen uit. Wij komen graag terug in Cas Mai!!

Nette accommodatie, lekker ruim. We hebben vooral gebruikt gemaakt van de tuin (veranda en zwembad). Goede communicatie met de host. Top service. Aanrader.

This house was even better than we had expected. The location was perfect, it was super clean and we slept so well in the comfortable beds. We loved the open-air concept throughout most of the house (unheard of for us from the US), but having A/C in the bedrooms was just like home. We spent most of our time in the back, in the pool or enjoying the ocean. I’m missing that cabana now! Martin was so helpful and responded immediately any time we needed assistance.

Kas Secreto is a beautiful vacation home located in a unique part of Bonaire. The house is brand new (this is why you don't see it on Google Maps). The layout of the house is brilliant, with lovely bedrooms each with private bathrooms and air conditioning, a huge kitchen with more appliances than you will ever need, a great living room for indoor relaxing, but the best part of the house is the outdoor space. The photos make you a bit suspicious that it can't be real, but it is. The outdoor lounge area has countless options - from a huge dining table under cover, to the comfortable sofas under the cover of the gazebo, or on the terrace in lounge chairs getting some sun, or soaking in the pool. Every corner has an unbelievable view of the sea. We walked to Oil Slick Leap several times and also enjoyed the pizza place right up the driveway. The support from the host and the Sorobon Resort was fantastic! For a large group of people (we were 8 adults), this is an incredible place!
